Awesome company!! I have used a few plumbers in the past, but I usually do everything myself. This time I had my water heater go out on me and leak all over my garage floor, soaking a few of my belongings. This was not a job for me. A called a few different companies in the area to get a price, I was so out of touch with what a water heater replacement costs these days. I couldn't believe the wide range of pricing for a 50 gallon water heater replacement!! I knew I needed a permit and that my current setup was not up to city code, so going with a company that supplied the permit and knew the current plumbing codes was important to me. I am also a very particular person, I believe in quality over price, so I needed a company that would do the highest quality work. I will say this...the "one man band" companies are not for me! I had two come to give me a price, both looked like they roles right out of bed, and one told me I would have to supply the permit...what?! They were definitely cheaper, but I understood why! I also had a couple BIG name companies come out, and they talked the talk and were nice a clean cut. But $4500 for a 50 gallon water heater?!!!! Holy cow!!! So my next door neighbor ended up telling me..."just call Lloyd's!" When Pete showed up, he was very personable, and I could tell he knew his stuff and wasn't just there to sell me something. The price was reasonable and the high quality of the work was worth it. When the work was complete, he did a home inspection and really gave me some piece of mind. About 2 years ago we had a water heater go bad and had it replaced by the best plumbers in our town LLOYDS PLUMBING. They did a first class install and it really worked well. Our pressure regulator went bad spiking pressure up in the house recently. It made the over flow pressure relief valve go open that takes excess water outside through a copper pipe. When that happened we were away and it flooded a small area under our water heater and did some damage. The pipe was leaking that was replaced at the time of our water heater and was not sealing. Hard to test unless your overflowing water through it I guess. We cleaned the mess and called LLOYDS PLUMBING. We told them what happened and the came back after 2 years and fixed it at no charge and actually stood behind their work. I say this because in my industry it seems like venders don't stand behind their products much if at all and they leave it to the end seller to cover it all. It's such bs! If a plumber can come back and give excellent service, why can't others. Why do folks make parts and not at all participate in the repair at least a little bit? Nobody seems to stands behind anything. I am proud to have a great plumbing vender and service provider LLOYDS PLUMBING because for 32 years, they have always made good and done excellent work for our properties. They did not blame the wind, wall color or floor paint, they stood up to their bad connection weather part or labor and made good. After spending thousands.... yes, thousands of dollars being ripped off by other local plumbing companies, I tried Lloyd's. A little story: I was having major issues. Washing machine water not draining through the pipe in the wall, but rather coming back up and flooding the laundry room, while simultaneously all toilets and tub filling up with some kind of nasty and dumping that on the floors...a real party. Had several other companies out that charged thousands of dollars for their idea of a solution that never worked. The last estimate I received from a family "friend" that was "really gonna fix it this time", was for 8k and involved tearing up my foundation. Awesome. Decided to get a 36th opinion and called Lloyd's. Long story short, if that's at all possible at this point, my hero - Ryan, came out and thoroughly investigated. Used a bunch of machinery, cameras and gadgets that looked and sounded like they came right off The Ghostbusters set. Within a few minutes he found the problem and had an easy and non invasive solution. He Hydro Jetted (I think that's what he called it), which cost a fraction of what I thought I was gonna have to pay to really fix things, and a year and two months later, everything is still perfect. It's comforting to know that I can always count on Lloyd's to give an honest estimate, do a thorough job, and not take advantage of my naiveté on the subject like others have. My problem was unusual in that I was getting hot water to every outlet in the house but over the last few months hot water was becoming less and less available at the master shower. Within about three minutes the master shower water would go from hot to cool, to cold. I assumed it was a problem at that location, so I removed and replaced the Moen balancing spool, hoping that it was defective and the cause of the problem. To my disappointment, that (difficult) procedure did not bring the needed uninterrupted flow of hot water to my master shower. The plumbing configuration in my house is somewhat complex and includes a recirculation pump that circulates hot water throughout the house as well as a pressure tank to control the water pressure going into my water heater. I called Lloyd's Plumbing and technicians Ted and Richie analyzed the configuration. In just a few minutes they determined that a flow valve near the circulation pump was partially frozen and creating a vacuum that caused a backflow of cold water into the hot water line that flowed to the master shower (the farthest water outlet from the pump and water heater). They replaced the flow valve in about a half an hour and the entire system works perfect now. It was a great relief to have unrestricted hot water back into my master shower. The cost was reasonable; Ted and Richie were both professional and competent and I wouldn't hesitate to call Lloyds again for my plumbing needs. read more

This is the first time I have had a chance to update my review. The plumbing project was completed in two weeks. It was very encouraging to see them work the way they did. They always came as teams it wasn't just one plumber each day and knew exactly what to do. Richie was here as much as he could be to make sure everything was being done as planned. I was also was very inspired when the City inspectors came to okay the work 3 different times. The 1st one was for the 12 trench in the street pulling and connecting new sewer pipe. The 2nd was the 10 foot trench in the patio which is part of the sewer pipe and pipe into the garage. The 3rd was in the storage room downstairs where the main cleanout is for the entire townhouse. All three inspectors asked Richie a couple questions checked off the inspection and were gone. That speaks for itself showing Lloyds strong reputation and doesn't take short cuts. It is incredible that each area of the house has its own cleanout now. There is one other thing that was added because this side of the street is low and if there was a sewer overflow it would come this direction. Richie said we are going to put in a clean check backwater value. Richie didn't miss a thing. We are all so pleased with the work done that was overseen by Richie and Lloyds plumbing. He's helped us in emergency situations, as well as helping us with home improvements. Once again Lloyd's to the rescue! We have had our share of plumbing problems in the last year or two. We had our water heater go out and flood the entire garage. Called Lloyd's and they came out immediately! Not only replaced the water heater but cleaned up all of the water and had fans put into place to dry it out. Approximately 6 months later we had water leaking from our main line into the house. We called Lloyd's and they showed up within the hour to repair our leak. It was late and they should have been done for the day. Instead they came right out and took care of us.Today for the third time and hopefully the last for this old house we turned on our water for the sprinklers and had another leak. The horrible part was that we had a home inspection scheduled for 11am for the sale of the house. Picked up the phone and called Lloyd's begging for help ASAP... Once again they came to our rescue! They showed up and fixed the leak and were completely finished with the job in less than an hour. I would NEVER even think of calling another plumping company. In today's world you get what you pay for. So if CUSTOMER SERVICE and quality is important to you this is the company to call! I'm not one to take the time to write reviews, but after my experience with Lloyd's I figured I should go the extra mile since they went above and beyond! My water heater went out and my neighbor has been raving to me about going the "tankless" route. I called the plumbing company that he used to come out and give me a quote and their prices were much higher than I anticipated so I decided to shop around. I got four quotes and Lloyd's was second from the lowest, but the customer service was top-notch! The service tech spent so much time with me explaining the difference and making sure I wanted tank-less vs just changing my regular water heater. Replacement would have been cheaper so it was nice having someone not trying to "upsell" me on something I didn't have to have. I still opted for the tank-less and I have to thank the service tech, Bill not only for his complete professionalism and politeness, but his cleanliness as well. By the time he was done and left the area he was working in was cleaner than when he showed up! Lol! We have used Lloyd's Plumbing for nearly 20 years, and have never found fault with their work or work ethic. Our most recent work involved the replacing the sewer line between house and street. This line had been in place nearly 50 years, and had significant intrusions by roots, which we could see for ourselves as a video head went through the pipe. Thomas explained what needed to be done, and gave us the cost. We had to put the work off for two months, but once we told Thomas we were ready, the Lloyd's team was out the next week. Thomas and his team were polite and professional about their work. It was necessary to make holes in the concrete and next to our house, then pull the new pipe through with a head that had blades to cut the old pipe. That took relatively little time. Experience with this process let them make the holes to be dug just big enough to do the work without too much effort. Work was only slowed down by external factors like city inspections, etc. We were minimally inconvenienced. I recommend Lloyd's with some confidence for work large or small. Another satisfied customer of Lloyd's Plumbing service. Susan in their office answered the phone immediately, and scheduled Thomas to come out the next day, on Saturday to repair leak from upstairs bathroom tub drain, that was leaking into the garage.. HUGE problem. Tub drain was installed by our "Handyman" who didn't even use the correct parts for a tub/shower and didn't connect or glue one of the pipes, and installed the pipes upside down! Very pleasant interaction with Thomas who assessed the problem right away stating that he needed to come back with an assistant to assist with the repair. Natalie from the office called right away and re-scheduled for Thomas & apprentice to return in two days to do the repair. Thomas & Randall just left with everything done within one hour.. $150 below the quote Thomas gave me on Sat. Before arriving, Susan from the office called and said that Thomas was on his way. OUTSTANDING customer service on all fronts. No wonder this family owned business serving the Conejo Valley area has stayed in business since 1965! Lloyd's Plumbing is a gift to the community. My neighbor had an emergency at 630 pm, on Sunday. A Water Pipe leak. I called Lloyds to get Service. The Plumber called, who seemed very pleasant and said he would call after he finished his present Service call. So we patiently waited. As they seemed to have a good Ad, on the Internet. I saw no reason to stay and went home and told her that the Plumber would call. At 930pm my neighbor called and said the Plumber told her, that if the house was built, before 1984, he couldn't service, an in wall leak. Due to possible Asbestos contamination. It seems to be a company policy. Well, thanks for the surprise, Lloyds Plumbing. If you had such a policy it should have been obviously listed, on your Website. The competent company, who saved my neighbor and her Childern, from a waterless night. Had no such policy. Also, the fact that the Technician would sat this up front, is really troubling. Being a Contractor, I understand, that there are extenuating circumstances. But to drop this on the customer after a wait is irresponsible. I will never recommend then, based on their lack of limitation of policies and concern for customers. read more

I know of Lloyds Plumbing because the condo association that I live in uses them for every plumbing need. I have used them on several occasions and have always been extreamly satisfied. I called them on Sat. 3/21/2015 for a water leak just outside my front door that was not there the night before. The very kind and helpful receptionist Amy was so helpful and set up an appointment that very day. She stayed in touch with me until the plumber arrived. The Plumber that camr to my house was Ted and he was just the best. He determined that the leak was a water line and advised me that he would have to cut into the stucco in order to get to the line and repair it. He did exactly that and found the leak very quickly and repaired it. He even cleaned up the mess from the grinding of the stucco.Ted did a great job in a very short period of time and I would highly reccomend LLoyds Plumbing for any of your plumbing needs. I do not normally write reviews but I could not pass up this opportunity. Lloyd's is now on my speed dial. I purchased a new washer and dryer. They arrived on a Saturday. During the installation the hot water pipe broke, we've lived in this house over 40 years. We called a recommended plumber who couldn't make it out til Tuesday ... really? We called Lloyd's and Susan was so pleasant I immediately calmed down. She said someone could make it out about 4:30, I was grateful someone was coming. She asked me to hold one minute and when she came back on the line she said that one of the guys had just finished up and could be at our house within 15 minutes. Ted showed up, as stated, fixed the problem, and we had him fix the cold water pipe just to be on the safe side. He was done in record time and I don't feel I was charged and arm and leg. Recently having moved to Thousand Oaks, I got the name of Lloyd's Plumbing from my contractor. Not being a current client, I didn't want to pressure them to come out that day even though it was a blocked kitchen sink drain. But they did! Plumber arrived on time, took care of our problem expertly by replacing all the corroded piping & installing a new garbage disposal. And even fixed another annoying bathroom problem that another co. didn't want to tackle. Price was very fair, my husband was happy. Thanks Richie! Lloyd's Plumbing is great! Tony responded for a clogged kitchen sink and addressed the clog. Using a video scope to check the line, he found buildup in the line that could eventually cause more problems for us. After discussing options and being able to view the buildup myself on the scope, it made sense to have him clear 30 years of buildup with their hydro-flush equipment (great tool). It was great to be able to make an informed decision, not just address the immediate clog issue and have more problems later. We have used Lloyd's for other repairs (valve replacements, water heaters, etc.) for years. They are the BEST local plumbers!! read more

I have used Lloyd's ever sense i bought my first home. My first experience was a clogged main due to tree roots. My home had no accessible clean-outs but they still managed to clear the clogged and remove the roots. Most recently Lloyd's installed a tankless water heater for me after my original unit sprung a leak. One faucet had a slow leak that was repaired to prevent a possible major leak. I had several faucets that had the wrong stems on them that made usage a chore.
