When we were initially looking for a home, we wanted something a little further from Travis AFB since I was doing my rotations in Sacramento. Luckily, they had a house for rent at about the halfway point to make my and my husband's commute tolerable. We spent our first couple years of marriage there and even added to our family, so we were a bit sad to move. Jodie is professional and very prompt with communication. If we ever had an issue, we just had to either call or text him and it was handled within a reasonable time frame. He was in close communication with the owner as well, which is likely why things were taken care of promptly. When we had issues with our bank transferring our rent, we also communicated that with him, so we were able to just drop off a check instead. We were able to make some temporary upgrades to the home while renting with them as well. We added a smart thermostat and a doorbell camera without any issues. My husband and I were sure to re-install the existing doorbell and thermostat upon moving. Since we moved from the Bay Area towards the Sacramento Valley, we were able to rent a home for the same price (if not cheaper) as the apartments and some townhomes by the surrounding areas of Travis AFB. That being said, we got the best bang for our buck in that regard. Even with the extra expenses of having a house, such as hiring a gardener for biweekly maintenance and trash & recycling pick-up, the price for renting was still more than reasonable. Overall, we are very pleased with our time renting from Professional Property Management. We had a cozy stay at a wonderful home that we kept up to the best of our ability. They've been extremely responsive to our tenants when something needs fixing. They jump on it right away. They also have a wonderful list of companies to do anything that needs doing which save us the hassle of getting quotes. We are assured of good prices and workmanship because of their ongoing relationship with Alamo. Now, however, they have really exceeded our expectations! Now that we have to sell the property, they have been invaluable in coordinating between the tenants, our realtor and all the contractors. I haven't had to do a thing!! The only bad thing I can say is that I wish they had an office where we have a small condo we rent out because I'd love to have them manage that as well!

    My experience with Alamo Creek Properties was disappointing…read more During our yearly tenancy inspections, we felt uncomfortable because of ongoing issues that Alamo Creek had with the neighbors parking in front of the home, and we did not feel it was our problem. The neighbors were always good to us.  Communication from the office was also frustrating. We received multiple move-out letters, and it often seemed like there was a lack of communication within the office, which made the move-out process or maintenance more stressful than it needed to be. We had a pre-move out inspection 3 days before move out, Tina said Cleaning and carpet cleaning was all she said that need to be done until I folowed up with her the next day asking for any repairs seeing as we have time to fix it and we get a discount. The meaning of a pre-move out right? I'm having to dispute deductions from my security deposit that I believe are for normal wear and tear, including window blinds that deteriorated after nearly three years of normal use in the suisun wind mind you. I replaced the blinds with a more wind friendly curtain. All they talk about is house hard it is to sell the house because the neighbors park on the street.  I hope the company improves its communication with tenants and handles move-out inspections and security deposit issues more fairly in the future.

I left the rental in…read moreclean condition, returned the keys early, and made every effort to fulfill my responsibilities as a tenant. Despite that, I felt they took advantage of my security deposit by charging unfair and questionable fees. The communication throughout the move-out process was frustrating, and I did not feel that my concerns were addressed fairly. It seemed like they were looking for reasons to keep money from my deposit rather than evaluating the property objectively. Based on my experience, I would encourage future renters to thoroughly document the condition of the property with photos and videos and carefully review any deductions made from their deposit. Funny that it's their own maintenance guy and his contracting company that's gonna charge $1800 when all the bids that I got were less than 1200. When I realized they were just playing games with me and my money, I quit wasting my time responding to them and now I'm just waiting for my deposit check back in the mail. 22 days! Oh yeah, and don't think I didn't notice that you've already listed the pristine apartment I left as available for rent... and you still want to make threats! They're just trying to take advantage because I'm one of the highest paid people that lived there, and they will do whatever they can to get every last red cent out of anybody, so it's better you just don't waste your time dealing with these people because they're scammers and they don't even know how to follow basic property management law.

They are a family owned company and they treat you with respect, not just an address but as a neighbor. Any trouble with the house or apartment they are out there immediately to resolve the issue with great communication and awesome repair companies that are local and reliable in their work. Their prices are fair at market rate or below and have always been able to help if you need a couple extra days to get rent together, they understand life happens and are willing to work with you. Our family was renting a home that was transferred to Allegiant Property Services, but we were not informed about our missing security deposit until after we moved out of the rental home. The home owner brought to our attention what was happening, but the whole time Allegiant Property Services led us to believe that we would get our security deposit back. The homeowner wanted to give us our full deposit back. We rented from Feb 2012 to Feb 2014. Allegiant Property Services knew our security deposit was missing in Nov 2013. I would advise people to be careful when dealing with this property management company. They were not forthcoming and did not have our best interest at heart.

    Ehhh... SPM had a couple houses I was interested in when I was searching for a rental. The times…read morecan be a bit difficult. I think they stop checking out keys at 3:30pm. They don't have weekend hours if I recall. One of the houses the receptionist literally asked for the key back when it was in my hand after copying my ID and writing down the info to check it out. Someone else just approved for that house. I don't know why I was even allowed to check out the key at that point. That was very disheartening and felt unprofessional and awkward. Since I was there I decided to scan their listings and check out keys for another house that was also listed as part of the same neighborhood at the first house and that was move in ready. As I'm following the GPS instructions this description was not accurate. The listing said Green Valley but it was taking me to the Cordelia hills on 680. Sure enough this house was in Cordelia. This house was not in move in ready condition. The toilets were black (not cleaned). The garage door had a huge dent. The sliding door to the backyard was so sticky I got locked out and had to re-enter/lock up by walking out the yard to the front door. The receptionist asked how it went and I was honest. She took the time to write down my comments. So there's some points for that, although I'm not sure if anything was done to fix those issues before the next tenant moves in. A couple days later the first house was back in the listings. I guess the approved applicants backed out. I checked out this house and was happy with how clean and well maintained things appeared. I believe it was a first time rental. So I guess the house condition depends on the owners or how long it has been a rental? So we applied. The application process was stalled and died because SPM could not reach my previous big-box landlord. So I guess it's good they really check. (I also got a call from my HR to confirm.) But it feels scammy they never followed up after telling us they were waiting on the other property management company. Based on these experiences I would not recommend SPM.

Any issue we had with the property was resolved quickly. When our lease was up and it was time to move out we left the property in better condition than when we moved in and we got every penny back of our deposit. Would definitely rent from this company again.
