Do not recommend going here if you want UV gel nails done. I made my appointment for two people at 2:30 explained I needed uv gel fill in and my sister a new uv gel set. When we got there the owner kept on trying to tell us to get powder or gel x we repeatedly said we wanted uv gel if she could do it she said yes. The owner is the only one who can do uv gel and this wasn't discussed on the call but she waited till we are there to say I have to wait till she's done with my sister so she can start me. So what's the point of making an appointment? I value her time so I show up on time but clearly she doesn't value her customers time. Once she was done with my sister she started mine. Since the beginning I knew she didn't know what she was doing cause the technique was awful. I told her don't even bother finish my nails just finish filling them cause respectfully they look horrible . She kept trying to tell me they didn't but they did. I was going to pay for a uv gel service and she applied the uv gel but since she didn't know how to apply it she ended up filling all and I was just left with a coat of the gel nail polish on my nails. I really needed a pedicure so I went to Yelp and found a place that closed late (8pm). They accommodated me an hour before closing and told me to come in ten minutes. My pedicure is flawless and I almost forgot I even had clean pearly white shiny toes. The nail technician spent a lot of time cleaning my nail beds and did a light scrub before putting on the polish. My gel manicure could have been a better experience. I had the lamp which kept moving around on my lap and there was no side table to efficiently do the manicure. The polish is on some parts of my nail bed. They do not have a wide selection of nude pink colors in stock which took them awhile to find. It is a good salon if you need fast service and just to get some color. There are other salons for a spa experience (think calm, quiet, restful, massages, aromatic oils) but at least this place gets the job done. read more

She took her time removing my previous gel and applying powder gel. I was there for a total of 2 hours but she was very patient and friendly. I was emotionally scarred after my visit to this salon. My boyfriend and I decided to make an appointment at this location for Oct 3rd 2020. He went in for a pedicure and I got a manicure. The woman that was assisting me kept filing the skin around my nails very aggressively. Even as I flinched many MANY times from her sanding down skin rather than the ACTUAL nails she pursued each finger with the same intensity. She FINALLY split the skin on the side of my pinky. This was a deep one and she then had the audacity to grin under her mask and insinuate the injury was due to me having "baby skin". She tells me that she will clean it after it's all done. So I'm trying my hardest to suck it up so that I can get this over with, already it has been an hour and I am now sitting there with this stinging open wound and this acrylic dust pouring into it. That doesn't stop her. She continues to sand down skin. It doesn't end there. This woman not only manages to harm me and proceed to harm me she also insists on flirting with my boyfriend as she neglects to properly care for her customer. Her and 2 other employees began to speak in their native language to ask him personal questions and compliment him on how handsome he is, while working on a customer, me! At this point I'm tearing behind my mask from the pain but I just want these nails done! I felt so disrespected and so disappointed. This experience left my pride in shambles and my finger in pain. It took way longer then it should have because this employee decided to be completely unprofessional and strike up an inappropriate conversation with my partner. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon. These women are completely clueless or just have no utter respect for their customers. You have been warned! I usually do my laundry next door, and one day while I was waiting for the clothes to dry, I was like "okay, this is boring, maybe I should get a nail done." Lol, and that's how I walked into LMZ in last week. The second picture with the white nail on the index finger was the first time I did SNS in the store, I chose the color in a hurry because it was almost their closing time. Mary, the owner did my nail, she was very professional and efficient with the SNS, she did a great job. However, after I got home, the more I looked at my nail, the less I like them.... therefore I went in to LMZ again the day after and got all the color changed...... and of course, it was Mary who served me again.... I love the fact how Mary did not over file my nails! My nails was already thin like a paper, and I knew I shouldn't change the color less than 24 hours as Mary told me to. But my nails didn't break at all, and I don't feel any pains during the SNS process ( I always feel pain with Gel nails) . This nail salon is near my house and it opened under new management, it was great when it started out but slowly it started to run down, the owner is great at keeping things at a good state but the employees are very rude and does the job carelessly. I had an absolutely horrible experience at this salon. If I can give ZERO STARS I would. First off...I had an appointment for 1pm...then didn't start on my pedicure until 2pm! They had me waiting for an hour, what is the point of an appointment if you're incapable of being organized? Second--I paid for a silk milk spa pedicure and manicure. I have very soft feet and when I wasn't looking the tech started to viciously scrub the bottom of my foot. I pulled my foot back in pain and told her not to do that. 15 seconds later she does the same vicious scrubbing on my other foot. Now, I'm in so much pain. There's a bruise on my foot. This was my first time there and my experience was horrible. They also are not clean. I had to ask for new products to be used on me, every time. I've gone to this place a half dozen times already. I always get powder gel. Every time i pick a color it is never the color on my nail. It was always close enough but i chalked it up to maybe i need my eyes checked. I went yesterday and i showed the technician the color i want. We chose the colors together. At the end I'm sitting and looking at my nail and it's purple and not blue! I asked her to go get the book where we chose the colors and the color i chose is not the color on my nail! We then proceeded to try 3 different navy blue colors on acrylic nails and they were all purple! These were supposed to be my birthday nails and all the powder colors are wrong! DO NOT COME HERE ANYWHERE NEAR CLOSING TIME IF YOU'RE NOT GETTING A BASIC MANICURE. First time I came here for a basic manicure, the staff was very friendly and helpful. They shaped and painted my nails very nicely and offered a top coat that makes your manicure last much longer for $3 extra. I opted for the coat because my manicure starts chipping after 2-3 days. If you do get this top coat, make sure to have lots of time go let it dry!!! It did last about 1.5 weeks before my manicure started chipping so I'd say it worked but not sure if it was really worth $3. Because I had a decent time the first time, I went back a second time 1.5 hours before closing. I asked if I could get powder nails this time and just 3 extensions because 3 of my nails chipped off very badly. They didn't say anything about not having enough time and let me get my powdered nails. When they were using the nail drill, she was rushing to finish my nails on time and KEPT DRILLING MY SKIN. I told her it hurt and she kept telling me she couldn't speak English. My cuticles started BLEEDING at one point and when I pointed at it and she just kept going!!!!! It was extremely painful and she didn't even care that I was bleeding. She rushed through the whole entire process and didn't even let me have time to dry my nails. If they told me they couldn't do it, I'd understand and would've just done a basic manicure instead. But then again, they wouldn't have made as much money if they did I like how this place offers wax paraffin, which is a liquid you dip your hands in multiple times to make your skin softer for free. They claim others usually charge money for this... But honestly, my cuticles were hurting for a couple days because of how rough she was so I wouldn't come back here for anything other than a basic manicure. read more

I was not very impressed by the application and process of my pedicure. It could be that we were their last appointments of the day so they didn't work as hard as they normally would but I expect decent work at the minimum. For my pedicure, you could see the layers of polish were not evenly applied. The water that my feet were in was cold. The whole process in general felt very rushed like the woman was just trying to get it over with to go home. I would've rated it 1 stars based on the pedicure alone but have rated it 2 because they were at the very least super friendly. Pros: They give you a water bottle and a basket to hold your purse. There is a parking lot. Cons: The nail tech who worked on me didn't speak any English. She communicated with me via sign language. Their Groupon advertised Shellac. However, they do not use Shellac brand. They use a brand called Gelish. Their Groupon should have just said gel manicure instead of advertising a brand they don't even use. The paint job left a lot to be desired. I had to request that she paint closer to the edges. I didn't notice my toes until I got home and there are unpainted areas of my nails - I hate it when salons do that!!! I won't be going back here. read more

I'm guessing the short haired lady that was trying to convince me to get a gel manicure was the owner.. The girl that was doing my nails ended up having to pause mid way and let the owner finish them taking up way more time than I had. I really don't like writing bad reviews especially because the person that was doing my nails was very nice. My go to nail salon was closed and I really needed to get my nails done so I came here due to all the good reviews and pictures I saw. I got ombre pink and white sns tips even though I wanted gel because it lasts longer and looks better however, I am a soft-spoken person and I don't like to complain and I believed she knew what would be best for my nails so I allowed her to do sns. I wanted two bows on the ring fingers of my nails which she did for me but she used Essie clear polish to apply them and in the back of my mind I knew it wasn't going to last but I didn't realize how soon it would fall off. Two days later, one of the bows fell off not surprisingly. I called them and told them what happened and I went back to them to get it fixed. I thought she would use something strong to set the bow in place. She used the tinest bit of bonding gel to set it in place and had me under a uv lamp for 5 minutes (usually supposed to be 1 minute). It fell off again in the lamp. I told her and she redid it and used the same exact amount of liquid in the bonding gel again and had it under the lamp for almost 10 whole minutes. After I left and went home, it fell off not even 3 hours later. I did not pick at it or touch it or bang it against anything. In total, I spent $85 and I am very displeased and most likely will not come back. I do not want to bash them because they are nice people but for the price I paid I expected more. read more

You know, the kind that uses a metrocard to remove stuff from your nail lol but they are very nice. I first wanted UV gel but I was told to do sns instead because it is less damaging. I have gotten it before so I said fine. I asked for coffin shaped nails and they didn't know what that was but then when I showed a picture they knew exactly what it was. I've had prior unpleasant experiences at this location before , 2 years ago when I was pregnant and just wanted my mani and pedi done and was kept waiting for almost an hour as other customers who didn't have appointments kept being taken before me. (It was my babyshower day too; 2019) So I gave them another chance and just had my nails done one time and it was fine. (2020) I just walked in to get my eyebrows THREADED today. I repeated THREADED at least 100 times because I don't have time to drive to the normal spot I always go to. I asked for price and it was $8 which was more expensive than I normally pay but I figured maybe location. Again, I repeated THREADING and that I have super thin eyebrows so I like to them on the thicker side and I laid down and felt something hot and then a rip! The woman waxed my eyebrows and kept doing so and waxed both sides so thin that there's no way to even them out without makeup. I will definitely never go back for eyebrows or any other service besides a quick mani /pedi and the only reason I didn't argue to pay less because I was so upset I wanted to leave immediately.
