I've been coming here now for about a year now and I'm glad I did. The owner is the only one I let do my sns powder Ron my hands and the other girl does my pedicure. I haven't had any issues. The owner is friendly and always asks if this is what I want or if I want something to let her know. The place is always clean. I use to go across the street at Mindys but I wasn't happy there. Sns kept cracking and my nails breaking. Here my nails have become strong and last me 3 weeks. I definitely recommend! Thank you! read more

I love Flawless, I moved out of the neighborhood but I still go here for my sns manicures and pedicures. They are thorough and friendly.

I would have given this place 5 stars, but my polish literally started to chip less than 24 hours after getting my manicure. I would rate less than 4 for this issue alone, but I have to say that Frank was fantastic. He was very gentle and asked if anything hurt when he was cutting my cuticles. He also asked if I wanted my nails cut or just shaped before he did anything which some places don't do. The massage he gave me when my nails were drying was also great. In regards to the chipped nails, I think they just need to update the polishes they use and use better quality top coats. If I had seen someone other than Frank, I probably would have given this place a 3. read more

I was reading a review when someone alleged that they were charged $50 for ingrown toe nails! This person is an absolute fraud! My husband and I go there every 2 weeks for the last few years and we are always treated with kindness and respect! I get SNS which is always perfectly done with a natural finish in which the compliments are endless! I have referred so many people to this salon and never have anyone complained or not been happy! Just got a mani pedi ($25) but I have a few complaints. They accommodated me right away even though I didn't have an appointment, which I appreciated considering they only had about four people working and they quickly got busier after I had started. Once I was in the chair I showed a picture of a design I wanted - very simple just a gold line across a single nail. The girl said something to the owner Lin and she said to me it wouldn't last. I honestly didn't quite understand what she meant so I said that's fine I still want it. I didn't end up with the design I wanted which is odd, I've gotten it before and no one has ever said they wouldn't do it and it literally was a single line across the nail that i wanted. The pedi itself was nice with the scrub and massage. At one point the girl went to work on someone else and Lin did the color, which had its issues. She guided/pulled me so quickly over to the mani station I didn't get a chance to look at my nails and it wasn't until after I saw that she had missed a good quarter of polish on two of my toes. I called a girl over to bring her attention but she just pointed at Lin and didn't say anything. I got someone else's attention and he fixed it for me thankfully. The mani itself also had some issues, my nails are not all filed smoothly and they don't all have the same smooth square shape I had asked for. One nail had just been cut on the corner and hadn't been filed down. The place across the street at least offers a complementary massage as your drying. Im an easy going person but there were a lot of small mistakes and the whole experience was very rushed. read more

Seriously! Go across the streeet to another salon, go down the block to another salon or around the corner to another salon! The lady who is the owner in the first seat to the right when you enter the salon, is plain nasty! She was doing my nails with a bad attitude and fast and rushed hurting my cuticles mean while she waa critizing some other customers nails saying how can she come in with her nails like that, unprofessional... I paid $63.00 for nails that the UV color raised and chipped within hours of me leaving the shop. I called and informed her of this and told her I will be in soon to have her repair them when I went in they still try to charge me for fixing my color after it chipped the same day I went there! I refused to pay it and only tipped the man who fixed them because he was friendly. Whats worst is again my nails chipped after having them repaired I will stick to Mindy's Nails from now on!!!! I tried this place on several occasions that Mindy's was full and hated it each time no wonder they are losing customers and it's always empty now..... The owner is very nasty rude and plays favoritism with customers like a child she was boasting about one of her clients next to me been a doctor and she treated me badly maybe because I am dark skinned and I was in gym clothes but little does she know I am a Director in the US Department of Labor!!! Don't go here!! They changed owners for the third time now and I have horrible indentations in my nails from my last manicure here! I will never be going back! They buff your nails with the ruff part of the nail filer and that made my nails extremely weak. So weak that they all broke. Worst experience at a nail salon. The 10 minute pedicure was roughly and poorly done. My toe nails were not even or fully painted. When these issue were addressed they brushed me off as though they did not understand why it was a problem. As I pointed out the problem area's I was told "it's fine" and I was escorted to the tables to have my nails done. As I addressed the lady doing my nails (Ling) she didn't respond. I wasn't sure she could hear me or understand me for that matter until she started speaking about how poorly my nails were done. She obviously holds herself in very high regards and speaks as though she is the messiah of nails. Which leads me to my fill in, My fill in took under an hour and I was pleased with this but consequently I had to return 3 consecutive days. The first day because the UV was peeling and my nails were chipped. The 2nd day 3 nails were separating. The 3rd day my nail just broke in half. Upon returning the 3rd time, in less than an hour 2 other customers came in for issues; first customer - a nail broke as she went to get into her car and the second customer for her nails being uneven and all different shapes. Ling, the nail technician who felt the need to blame all of the customers is overly cocky and claims to be in business for over 20 years which is not evident by her work or attitude in addressing customers issues/needs. They are over priced especially for the poor services they provide. Besides what was mentioned above, I must emphasize how exceptionally rude, arrogant and condescending the entire staff is. I have never had such a horrific experience. I would not go to this salon if they paid me and I would be surprised to see them last another 3 years. Be cautious - when you enter they are welcoming but once you sit down to have work done, you will see instantly this review is accurate. They do not deserve 1 star!! read more

Went less than a week ago for a gel manicure. Gel normally last close to 2 weeks .. My gel has started to chip and has become discolored. I dont smoke, because thats where I thought this discoloration would come from. Don't like their gel, wouldn't recommend it, but all other services were great. read more

I'm honestly surprised this place has negative reviews. I have been going here since they opened (almost 3 years now) and everyone who has done my nails has been amazing. Wendy and Jenni are great! They cut and clean up your cuticles very nicely and leave your nails looking great for your night out. Flo is also very good, precise, and clean. I do gel every time on my nails and a pedicure. I highly recommend gel mani's. They last 2-3 weeks. I've never had a problem with chipping. Keep in mind that gel lasts longer depending on your nail condition. Great for beach vacations because you won't have to repaint while away and also great if you do a lot of work with your hands. The place is also very clean every time I go in. Nice relaxing atmosphere and comfortable chairs. Materials used are always clean and then cleaned after. I recommend the 10 minute hot cream pedicure massage, which includes hot stones at the end. I've been to many many mani places all over Whitestone and Fresh Meadows and always keep coming back here because of some disappointment at every other place. Give them a try! read more

I will never step foot in there again! The lady owner is Nasty!! She charged me $50 extra for my pedicure because I told the girl to see if I had any ingrowns. When I questioned the charge she said nothing is done for free it's five dollars each nail. I don't know what happened to this place. I started coming here about 2 years ago and it was amazing for the first few times. But within the last 6 months, things have just gone downhill. I found one girl that I loved to do my nails and preferred to go to her. I called to make an appt with her one morning, they booked me and told me I was all set. I was actually running ahead of schedule so I called them and asked if I could come early for my appt. To my surprise, they told me that Kathleen (the woman I requested my appt with no more than 3 hours BEFORE) was no longer working there. After much back and forth and a huge language barrier, I told them to just cancel my appt. Fast forward a few weeks later, I remembered the name of another woman at this shop who did my nails before and I liked her work. So I made an appt with Linda. All went well on that appt and at the end of that appt, I made another one on the spot for 2 weeks later with Linda. Two weeks later, I walk in for my appt with Linda and they look at me like I'm crazy and tell me she's sick and didn't come in that day. Really???? I had a very important event the next day and I really needed my nails done. It was already 5:30pm so I asked point blank-well then who is going to do my nails? They set me up with another young lady named Lucia. Here we go again-I liked Lucia. So a few weeks after that, I made an appt with her. I walk in at my scheduled time and she's working on someone else. Ok, I get that you might get backed up but I waited 15 minutes until she finished and took me. You can't make this stuff up. Two weeks later, I made ANOTHER appt with Lucia only to walk in and they flat out told me-LUCIA NEVER SHOWED UP FOR WORK, WE DON'T KNOW WHERE IS, SHE'S NOT HERE. Are you kidding me right now???? This woman, who I assume was the owner or manager (I've seen her there maybe once or twice before) comes over and apologizes and says don't worry, we'll take care of you and ushers me to the pedicure seat. No sooner than I sit down, she hands me a book with "special" pedicures. I said no over and over, she says-ok you get next time. Then she says-ok, on me, you get hot cream massage. So I was under the impression that she was offering the hot cream massage for the pedicure for free b/c Lucia was apparently nowhere to be found. The pedicure was horrible and the massage actually hurt, her hands were really strong and she kept running up and down my calf bone (smh). At the end of the mani-pedi, she gives me the slip and it says $30-$20 for the mani-pedi and $10 for the hot cream massage. I was so disgusted with the whole experience and this place that I just paid it. This was a Saturday and my manicure was badly chipped by Tuesday. I don't know what happened to this place but I don't like it and I will not be back. Very disappointed. read more

I usually don't Wright reviews, but I feel that no one should go thru what I went thru! they hire only people that just graduated, the few times I went, there was only very nervous young and inexperienced girls; and the owner pushes the new ones on you to gain some experience, they should basically pay customers to learn!!!!! Then she laughs at your expense. Had an ingrown nail when I came out!!!! I had to go to a podiatrist, the owner who made the pedicure, cut all my nails on the sides, but didn't bother to take the pieces that she cut out and she cut them on a way that I had to have anesthesia to be able to get the pieces that were ingrown!!!!!! I had never had an ingrown before, very painful! The worse nail salon that I have ever been to . I ended up coming here the night prior to me leaving for vacation because the nail salon that I usually go to was closed . Don't get me wrong- the people who work there are VERY nice, but I was completely I'm unsatisfied with my experience here . I got a pedicure and a gel manicure . 1. They did absolutely no prep or anything to my toes- they just painted them . 2. I asked them to paint and cover the entire nail- and there was still a nail exposed around the entire polish. 3. They refused to give me a third coat ( because I didn't really like how light the color was ) . 4. Where I've have gel manicures last over 2 weeks- these started chipping after 3 days . 5. I have never broken a nail with a gel manicure (because they're strong) , but this time around three broke . and last but certainly not least, 6. After removing the gel polish my nails were so rigid / weak / and brittle- that each and every one of my nails broke . Completely turned off by this nail salon; and my mother STRONGLY agrees as well ( because her gel powder looked horrible after 4 days ) . NEVER would I return here . read more

I'm unsure of his name - but he worked on my nails and did an amazing job. I came in with my nails literally hanging on by a thread and he made them all look beautiful. I live in whitestone area，I have been going to Flawless nail spa for more than 3 years, the stuff there is really nice . And they do a great job for Manicures and pedicures. I have 2 toes with ingrown nails, they hurt me really bad, and every time I went to Flawless they do a great job helping me cut the ingrown nail really well, and they never charge me money for cutting ingrown nails. I am a happy customer and will continue to be one in the future! read more

Nice nail salon for the price you pay. Compliments to this place for their long business hours and their emphasis on detail. I was able to enjoy my experience there after a long, tough work week. NIGHTMARE! HORRIBLE! 0 stars and here is why- I literally was coming here for years and brought them numerous clients, every two weeks I would come and at least bring 2-3 people with me for mani/pedi's... the 2 best nail techs left (Hispanic women) ... I still remained loyal to them and continuing to tell more and more friends and family to get their nails done here and would bring the woman in my family to treat them, especially since it was open late. That is until one day I came and asked for the owner Lynn to do my nails and she refused, gave me a nail tech who did a horrible job, she was rude, and cut my finger so bad it was gushing blood so I asked her to use the styptic so it would stop the blood which she then asked me to "Pay first" so she basically had me touch dirty money with my cut finger, and then on mtop of that they charged me extra for the styptic, and charged me extra because I wanted my cuticles cut!!! Having your cuticles cut should already be included in a mani pedi! I couldn't believe it, it felt like a slap in the face after all the business I have brought them after so many years. When she finished my nails looked worse than when I had first came in, I got up furious did not tip her so she began yelling in mandarin to the owner but before the owner could even say anything to me I looked her dead in the eye and told her I am disgusted with this place and WILL NEVER EVER come here again and I walked out. they are rude, a rip off, and they do not do a good job. read more

Lin has been doing my nails consistently since 2000, and when she moved locations from Westchester, NY to Whitestone, NY I had no choice but to follow her. In spite of the additional cost. A HORRIBLE NIGHTMARE. NO STARS! From first glance it looks like a very nice place but the staff was rude right off the bat. Extremely over priced & the prices on the wall were totally different from what my nail tech told me. She couldn't explain any thing I asked her about and couldn't even tell me the brands they use. THEN SHE TRIED TO HUSSLE ME, I told her I wanted permanent French tips - she said that was no good & practically tried to FORCE me to get silk wraps for 70$ which is twice what I've paid in nicer places. The tips were to big for my nails & when I told her she insisted shed fix it later. She put HUGE gobs of acrylic making them cartoonishly thick & I asked her to file it down & she bairly touched them. She ended up CUTTING my finger- not even close to my nail. Then after I pull my hands out of the UV light I was horrified MY NAILS TURNED A SICKLY YELLOW GREEN - three people couldn't fix them & when I got to the counter I expected a discount of some sort - instead I was handed a bill of 40$ after she told me 30$ & with the girl standing by me waiting for a tip! I showed him my nails that they were green & all different lengths & that I was still BLEEDING. & he said okay 30$ I argued with him for 15 minutes before I just gave him the money & left.
