Sliver of cream cheese on half the $6 bagel...very disappointing after waiting for 30 minutes.

    Bloody cupcakes

Use to get baked goods from them at the farmers market. I figured i would order some cupcakes since our local bakery closed. They absolutely loved the cupcakes. They even came in when they were scheduled closed for the day.

My daughter is marrying a man from Genesseo, and I threw her bridal shower in Rochester and wanted to use a local bakery for her shower dessert request of brownies and cake pops. Sweet Arts Bakery was recommended and I reached out to them with a few pictures and colors and ideas for the desserts. The shower theme was "Something Blue Before I DO". I couldn't have asked for a better experience. First, they provided options and serving suggestion amounts and said they could replicate the vision from the pictures I had provided as examples. Additionally they provided cake pop display platters that I could borrow and return. Secondly, the brownies, cake pops, colors, design and taste were INCREDIBLE!!! Absolutely beautiful and soooooooooo delicious!!! I can not recommend them enough!!!

Stopped in here to grab dessert before visiting a friend. Didn't want any of the pastries, but the staff was able to prep some cupcakes they had prepared, which were nice and light. Will definitely come here for breakfast and coffee next time I'm in town.

    cinnamon bun and americano

Get those cinnamon buns fast! They are a crowd-pleaser. I enjoy this bakery partially because it's in my alma mater's town, so when I go there, I go into my memory as well -- -- but I also appreciate this place because they wear their doughy pride WELL. That is, their pastries and breads are more on the doughy side, in the sense that many professional bakers would have left them in the oven for two minutes longer to consider them "done." But I prefer my pastries and breads just a weeeeetle bit under-done, with just a weeeetle bit of rawness on the edge of that toothpick -- and so do they here at Sweet Arts :)))))

    Cinnamon rolls.

Absolute best cinnamon rolls, ever! Big enough to share, but so good that you won't. Cozy atmosphere and friendly service.

But after…read moretrying this bakery on the penultimate day of a vacation, we had to come back to stock up on our final day. We collectively tried the olive ciabatta, three kinds of croissants, a flatbread, an epi bread, and maybe a couple of other things I am forgetting. Everything was delicious and very reasonably priced. I love the vibe of the place, I love the logo they stamp on their bags, I love that they threw in an extra pastry because we bought so much on that last day, and I love the location just across from the river. (First-time visitors should note that you enter the bakery from the back of the building that faces Water St.) Perhaps the strongest endorsement came from my partner's 14-year-old son, who gave the almond croissant a 10/10. When I asked him to rate the almond croissant that he loves from a bakery local to us, he gave it an 8.5/10. Follow-up questioning revealed that the chocolate croissants from the two bakeries merited a 9.5 and 8, respectively. Oh, and if you call earlier in the day they will hold things for you if you won't be able to make it in until later in the day.

Hidden gem!…read more Delicious pastries! Super friendly and nice owner! Inside smells amazing! We tried the chocolate croissant and the Bostock (brioche w almond topping and strawberries). Both were great and would happily eat either again! The chooclate croissant had a soft chocolate filling as opposed to a harder chocolate. I liked the bostock better but both were yummy. A small hole in the wall by a river. We ate our pastries on a swing across the river. Everyone in the area is super friendly. Good vibes and good pastries.

We wanted to buy everything but I got the raspberry bars and the monkey bread! The raspberry bars were SO GOOD that after I tried it I had to buy more! I also got the monkey bread and it was better than I hoped! Monkey bread and cinnamon rolls are one of the things I miss most being gf so being able to enjoy that again made my day... and my week!!! I couldn't recommend a place anymore. The customer service was amazing, and of course the food! The woman at the counter (I assume Suzie) was so kind and helpful, you could really tell she loves what she does and loves helping people be able to enjoy food again! Another really important thing to add was her pricing! I'm so used to being up charged so much for gluten free food and she kept everything as affordable as possible which I really appreciated! 1000000/10!!! This bakery alone makes me consider moving to Geneseo!! lol
