Every experience we've had at Sweet Arts Bakery has been delightful! Ruth Ann and her team are friendly, generous and make you feel right at home. They accommodated special requests like oat or almond milk in our lattes. They offer the biggest, freshest warm sweet rolls right from the oven. It is fun to come here and sit in the well-lit space for work or just to unwind. During summer months, there is outdoor seating which is perfect for people watching. My daughter is marrying a man from Genesseo, and I threw her bridal shower in Rochester and wanted to use a local bakery for her shower dessert request of brownies and cake pops. Sweet Arts Bakery was recommended and I reached out to them with a few pictures and colors and ideas for the desserts. The shower theme was "Something Blue Before I DO". I couldn't have asked for a better experience. First, they provided options and serving suggestion amounts and said they could replicate the vision from the pictures I had provided as examples. Additionally they provided cake pop display platters that I could borrow and return. Secondly, the brownies, cake pops, colors, design and taste were INCREDIBLE!!! Absolutely beautiful and soooooooooo delicious!!! I can not recommend them enough!!! read more

Thought we would go there based on the rave reviews for sweet rolls. They were moderately ok, but nothing to rave about for sure, just dough a dash of cinnamon and frosting on top. Nothing special. The bagels were fantastic though, best we've had since we were visiting NY city. Prices were pretty good for the bagel, but the cream cheese was $1.85 in addition. All in all not bad. read more

WOW..... what a cute spot on Main St in Geneseo within walking distance to SUNY Geneseo. Popped in and felt like I could sit and write or read an entire book in this place. Exposed brick, original wood plank floors... decorated perfectly!!! Had an AMAZING cappucino and a rosemary & olive bagel with their veggie cream cheese!!!!! WOW, the bagel was unique and perfectly cooked... slightly crunchy outside and not overly doughy middle. Will DEFINITELY be back when doing a drop off at the college! read more

I enjoy this bakery partially because it's in my alma mater's town, so when I go there, I go into my memory as well -- -- but I also appreciate this place because they wear their doughy pride WELL. That is, their pastries and breads are more on the doughy side, in the sense that many professional bakers would have left them in the oven for two minutes longer to consider them "done." But I prefer my pastries and breads just a weeeeetle bit under-done, with just a weeeetle bit of rawness on the edge of that toothpick -- and so do they here at Sweet Arts :))))) read more

(Other places seldom start with actual brewed tea.) The tapioca bubbles are vegan, the popping boba are not. Add almond milk. Delicious. The shop offers locally roasted coffee and fresh baked goods. Sweet arts is my go-to coffee spot in Geneseo, New York. They always have fresh, local coffee, as well as the best homemade cinnamon rolls. The bakery has great natural lighting from the front window that stretches all the way to the back of the store, making it a great place to finish an assignment or have a conversation with a friend over a cup of coffee. In addition to the great food, the staff is always friendly, inviting and helpful. I have also tried their relatively new menu item- Bubble Tea! Love, love, love. I've never been disappointed with one of their baked goods and their cinnamon buns are to die for. They also have a really nice selection of daily soups and stuffed breads that are really good. If you're feeling a bagel, GO WITH THE ROSEMARY OLIVE, some have tried to imitate it but no one does it so well. I've been going to Sweet Arts since it opened for coffee and baked goods, and liked them so much that I had them cater our wedding desserts. We ordered four different kinds of pies from them for our wedding (18 pies total), and the pies were absolutely delicious! Ruth Ann was great to work with - she was very flexible as far as making changes to the order, and was easy to communicate with. She runs a great business but is also personable and cares about her customers. I couldn't be happier that we chose Sweet Arts for our wedding pies.
