I would call it a cheeseburger empanada because that's what it was. The size was good and the gorgonzola cheese was very noticeable. The burger patty itself could of used a little more seasoning and the onions were grilled nicely. I didn't taste any bacon and I'm not sure if there was bacon on it. The burger was served in a paper boat with foil. I would have preferred a to go box. This was a different switch up from a traditional burger. I wasn't crazy about the style, but it was nice to try and tasted fine.

Pan fried was definitely the way to go with this one. It was even more flavorful when topped with the caramelized onion and thick bacon pieces. It was comfort food at its finest. The menu I saw online had City Chicken Skewers (which are actually pork). That intrigued me because it's "slow cooked in MaMa G's Seasoned Sauce until perfectly Tender." Mmmmm, sounds delicious! The flavors were perfectly paired- right amount of heat & sweet. I can't wait to try the shrimp and grits and the peach offerings next.
