I had nothing better to do so I waited in my car and sent out a few emails to kill some time. The gentlemen running the truck were hard to talk to because their generator was extremely loud. I ordered the steakhouse burger that is stuffed with gorgonzola cheese, bacon, onions and drizzled with steak sauce and finished in the deep fryer. The burger was definitely unique considering the entire burger is deep fried. I've never had a fried burger before and didn't really know what to expect. It came out looking like a huge empanada. I would call it a cheeseburger empanada because that's what it was. The size was good and the gorgonzola cheese was very noticeable. The burger patty itself could of used a little more seasoning and the onions were grilled nicely. I didn't taste any bacon and I'm not sure if there was bacon on it. The burger was served in a paper boat with foil. I would have preferred a to go box. This was a different switch up from a traditional burger. I wasn't crazy about the style, but it was nice to try and tasted fine.

Stuffed! Food truck - Believe it or not this is a steakhouse burger. Or as most would call it, an empanada.

The ladies working were not familiar at all. They also were not friendly and helpful. I was pretty sad. It did make me feel like the previous owners were gone bc either one were there. I hope they are still around and eventually when I come back, I can update this review. We ordered the Hawaiian hot dog and the arepa with beef and chicken. Something was missing. Also we ordered two empanadas. I like their green chimmichuri sauce with it, and as soon as I asked for it, she walked away and never came back. Even the pic on the outside sign shows them with that sauce, but nope never got it. They also have their usual Colombian drinks which are Postobon and Colombiana. They are more expensive and smaller sizes. We will definitely take a break from here. Hope the owners that we know and love will be there.

Ordered the ribs and fries and the ribs and plantains. None of the sides impressed me. The fries were under cooked and the plantains weren't flavorful. Honestly, we didn't come for the sides so we weren't upset much at the sides although it would've been nice to enjoy them. The ribs though, were OK. They were falling off the bone, but not as well done as I like mine. The flavor was there though, so that was good. HOWEVER, after a few bites I got a MASSIVE headache. In their defense, I haven't eaten pork in a loooong time. In my defense, it was only a few bites that I had. The sauce is a little different than what I'm use to so I used my own bbq sauce -- They actually gave a plethora of sauces which I appreciated.

This seriously was the best pierogi I've had in a very long time. I'll definitely be back for more if all of sweet Mama G's recipes are like this. They happened to be at Bullfrog Creek Brewing. I hope they come back soon. All I can say is that I scarfed down that order of pan fried sauerkraut & potato pierogi. Don't ask me how many pierogi because I really didn't count. These were larger than your store bought frozen pierogi and way better. They were filled (and I mean filled) with a yummy blend of ingredients. You can get potato or potato & cheese filled ones but I always like to be different, so I got the sauerkraut. It was an excellent choice. You can get them boiled or pan fried. Pan fried was definitely the way to go with this one. It was even more flavorful when topped with the caramelized onion and thick bacon pieces. It was comfort food at its finest. They'll serve it with sour cream or apple sauce. The sour cream went so well with it. They didn't have the full dinner menu when I was there. The menu I saw online had City Chicken Skewers (which are actually pork). That intrigued me because it's "slow cooked in MaMa G's Seasoned Sauce until perfectly Tender." Mmmmm, sounds delicious! Well, they didn't have them. It's on their dinner menu. They only had their lunch menu that day. I was disappointed at first but now I'm glad that I tried the pierogi instead of the skewers. I want to try other menu items next time. They have cabbage rolls, burgers, keilbasa dogs and sliders, and apple pie pierogi. All of them made using Mama G's special recipes. I want to try all of it. You can also add a kielbasa to your pierogi, but I honestly didn't need to. The pierogi by themselves were enough for me. The service was fantastic. Many people were placing orders. I'm not sure they were expecting so many people. All I can say is that they did a great job. I'd follow this food truck if I had FB. My only suggestion is that they make their FB page public. I can't get to it like most food truck pages. They do have a website as well with a menu and event schedule. I just hope to see them again in our area in the near future. It was that good!
