    Pumpkin muffin

My one year old woke up super early so I decided to run errands early in the morning and finished up with a stop at loafers shortly after they opened. This was my first time at loafers but I will for sure be back for lunch sometime soon! Everything looked SO good. I had a hard time deciding what to try. I ended up with a breakfast sandwich, cinnamon roll and a pumpkin muffin. I took them home to share with my husband. I reheated them in the microwave and all of them were great! I was so close to getting the chocolate caramel scone. I'm not usually a scone person but that one sounded good...I'll have to give it a try next time! Friendly staff, clean seating area, and so many things to choose from!

I grew up with Loafers Bread and love when I'm back in the Burgh to visit. They have a standard set of breads they usually have and some rotating. The pumpkin bread and pumpkin chocolate chip bread are amazing in the Fall. The challah is melt in your mouth and perfect for French toast. The sandwich menu is small but fresh and simple. The menu also includes salads, soups, and pastries. There is a pick two option where you can get any two : 1/2 sandwich, salad, or cup of soup. My mom had the creamy tomato basil soup and 1/2 of the chicken salad sandwich. She gave everything a good review. I had chicken noodle soup and 1/2 of a roast beef / pepper jack sandwich. The soup noodles are my favorite-thick, slightly mushy. The roast beef was rare; loved the horseradish sauce. The wheat bread was semi-grainy which I love. My son had the kids meal: 1/2 Turkey/cheddar sandwich, apple slices, an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie. He finished it all so he definitely approved! This location is near some stores and other restaurants. Note it is small if you're planning to dine in.

Perfect catering option for work lunches! Boxed Lunch - Honey Ham & Swiss on White || $9.89 Tasty sandwich made on fresh baked bread filled with ham, Swiss cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes. Comes with mustard and mayonnaise packets, which are much needed since the combo can be a bit dry on its own. The box also comes with kettle chips, a quarter pound cookie, and an apple. I found the cookie to be too sweet for my taste, but overall this is a nice lunch to get for catering.

Randomly found this stop on Google maps as I was looking for a lunch spot. Stopped in around 1pm, just after the lunch rush. You could follow your nose to this bakery, as the smell of fresh bread wafted from the front door. Next to the register was a cutting counter where they are generous with handing out bread samples. You can't buy the bread in anything less than a whole loaf, but its so good I'm not sure why you would want to. I tried a little bit of every loaf on the cutting counter, and was hard pressed to make a decision. I ended up going with the Challah bread, very wide in its braids, pillowy soft, slightly sweet. You can eat it plane, but it also makes phenomenal French toast. I will be going back for another loaf.

It was a little challenging to find parking because it's next to a busy Starbucks probably be worse when the Starbucks drive thru is finished. The inside was really nice and the smell of fresh bread was appetizing. They had bread samples that were really good. I had a tuna sandwich on wheat it was $6.89 and nice size they also had nice looking salads on the menu. The place was clean and the staff was nice. I liked the fact the bread was really fresh and baked in the back.

I wanted to go on a food journey here and was looking for some guidance, I wanted only their best items and Sarah at the counter was awesome! She helped guide me through their bakery, their main course meals and even find some yummy Italian like pretzels for the hummus I wanted to get and overall was just a very nice lady, I wish more restaurants had people like her working with customers! Finally to the food, I ordered the oat & carrot waffles, a brioche pastry and bought some hummus and Italian pretzels from their mini market! Overall, really good stuff! My only gripe is the waffle isn't crunchy at all and feels really more like a cake. The flavor was on point, especially with the yummy Carmel sauce it came with! The brioche pastry with raspberries was incredible as well! Lastly, the hummus was outstanding!! Get it. It's worth it! Overall this place is a must visit in my mind! If you're in the area, try it!

The coffee is definitely some of my favorite in the city with rotating specials as well as your basics. Everyone who works there is so sweet. Very cute café ambience, however, it can be a little loud if you're looking to sit with your computer or a book. However, i wouldn't change a thing about Mediterra.

I have to be honest, based off of experiences at locations I've had in DC burbs I thought Crumbl…read morecookies were really, really over-rated (especially for the price). I don't know how this location seems to make the cookies that much better, but this was a conversion experience haha For starters, I can't say how exciting it was to find out they were open until 11 on a Friday :D We were driving up from DC for the Pierogi festival in October and it is a bit of a culture shock how early things close. Ex. needed coffee for a boost to finish the long drive; Starbucks is long closed by that point, made the mistake thinking Mc Donalds at home have a number of 24 hour locations, but the one next to this Crumbl closes at 10; so we were ecstatic to find Crumbl still open! There wasn't a rush at 10:30 by any means, but there were a couple orders. My order was ready super quickly, and they were the best chocolate chunk cookies with sea salt I've ever had! I had resigned myself to that flavor because regular chocolate chip (my usual preference in cookie types) wasn't an option. I seriously, usually don't enjoy chocolate chunk cookies. These were the perfect amount of soft/gooey but completely baked, with just a kiss of salt. I mean we drove another 45 min to our air bnb after crumbl, and they were still perfect with no extra effort or heating on our part. I'm afraid they set the bar too high for me and I'll be let down at other locations again in the future haha But this one I solidly recommend! :D
