Went on a Tuesday night for steak night. I was surprise how good the steak was. It was a "just got off of work" crowd. The bar area was packed but it was plenty of seats in the back. I had a coupon for here a few years ago...might've been a Groupon or something. It was located right by my then boyfriends house so we decided to try it out. When we were parking, there was an altercation going on in the parking lot. So, not a good start. It took us forever to get seated even though they were practically empty. I noticed our service by our waitress was very "speedy", she was grinding her jaw, kept wiping her nose, was talking very fast, etc. All common side effects of drugs. During dinner I got up to use the restroom and while I was in there, here she comes. I knew it was her because I recognized her shoes. Anyway, all of a sudden I start to hear a ton of tapping (assuming to crush down the drugs) and then of course the sound of sniffing. I could not believe it. Our dinner waitress was sniffing lines next to me on the shitter. I quickly get out of the bathroom and tell my boyfriend what just happened. We decided to leave right then. The music and the gorgeous waitress was best part of my experience. They have a live DJ playing funk/soul/ house music on this Friday. I got up to dance and they also have a space there if you like to dance. The wings were pretty good. My grandmother potato skins bacon was burned to a crisp. Also, they don't give you much fries at all. I couldn't believe the waitress brought that raggedy dish to the table. Other than that, it's a nice chill spot to have some comfort food. Just left the "New" Loafers, where the bartender, Megan, provided some of the most disrespectful service I've ever received, in my life. She then had the audacity to get smart with the customers and brag about still getting her automatic 18% gratuity. Management was no where to be found, which only made Megan bolder, louder and ruder. I've heard nothing but bad things about the relaunched restaurant, but still gave it a try. The service isn't worth a nickel in Chinese money and the drinks are extremely overpriced. $12 for a rail Long Island. My husband and I moved to the area in 2018, but never visited the original Loafers before the fire. We were excited to give this place a try. We ordered the crab pretzel appetizer, cream of crab, crab cake platter and buffalo chicken tacos. The service was good and food came out hot and quickly. However, the appetizer was overpriced and barely contained crab meat. The "crab sauce" was spooned over the top of 3 pretzel sticks that seemed microwaved. The crab soup was okay, again, not a lot of crab and a bit too sweet for my taste. Our entrees were good though. The worst place I have ever eaten. I took my wife there for the first time to try something new. The waitress that we had didn't have any personality plus it would take her a while to wait on us when the restaurant was not that busy. I found it to be insulting that when we order a couple of drinks she came back with two plastic cups instead of glasses we were the only ones with plastic cups when everyone else has glasses. Afterward, when we were done I asked for the bill in the bill receipt they automatically they added an 18% gratuity as a tip if anything it should have been at least 10%. Last week my friend and I went to Loafers for the 2nd time in month. We were really impressed with how nice the place looks now. It was exceptionally clean (trust me HUGE difference from how it was prior to renovation) and spacious. Our server TAY (both times) was AMAZING!! Let's face it some people should not be servers, period! However, Tay definitely knows the meaning of GOOD customer service. We hope she is appreciated by her employer because she really is not your average server. As for the food, it was delicious. I must say this NEW Loafers is 100% better than the old. Our food was fresh, tasty and plentiful. We were able eat, listen to music and watch tv at the same time. Our hope is that we will have the same wonderful experience time and time again! read more

This was my first visit...but not last. I went on Sunday afternoon it was not crowded so we were seated quickly. The place is huge with TVs everywhere and a nice size bar. I ordered the stuffed shrimp with asparagus and a loaded baked potato. I was only able to eat 1 shrimp because they were huge...but made great leftovers for dinner. I've driven by this location many times, but have never gone in. From the outside it looks kinda dark, once inside, it is the same. I was surprised at how big the place is. Large bar area, nice seating area in and just along the bar area. Many tvs to watch, it is a nice set up. I'm not sure if there are happy hour specials, honestly I didn't notice. What I did notice is that the drinks are strong, which I like. They also appear to have a decent selection of beers. They have a large menu, with many things to pick; from buffalo wings to steaks and the like. Although, it really seems like this place should just have bar food. I tried the wings, and I love how they were fried hard, but I think they left more to be desired when it came to the dressings, rather they lacked seasoning. Came here to kill some time before seeing Beyoncé on a Friday. A friend in the area brought myself and another friend here. It happened to be happy hour. The drinks were priced ok and Very strong! I had to ask for some juice just to cut the strength of it. When asked for a cup one was handed over that was so greasy looking, disgusting. The happy hour food menu was decent, especially the triple play which lets you choose 3 different items for like $7. My friend and I both did it, choosing 1 of each item listed. There was options of wings, curly fries, popcorn shrimp, wedges, chicken tenders, and cheese sticks. Honestly I felt like the food was pretty gross. I don't know why I did it to myself again after the last time. Oh yeah it wasn't my choice to go there this time. I had some friends that wanted to meet up there to watch the Ravens vs Saints on Monday night. I figure maybe it would be better this time since it had been so long since I was last there, Man that was a mistake. The service this time was even worse than before. One of my friends got a nice warm beer from a waitress who was just plane awful. In three and a half hours she came to our table 3 times. The wings I had were ok but not worth the hassle of putting up with the bad service. At the end of the night I waited almost an hour for the waitress to give me the check. This includes going to the bar to try to pay my bill they didn't even have us in the system, to look for her, and even spoke to a manager who seemed to care less. The bar wasn't even that crowded and she never even apologized for forgetting about us. She is lucky I didn't skip out on the bill though I am sure I would have been home showered and fast asleep in my warm bed. Next time anyone suggests loafers I would shake some sense into them so I NEVER have to go back. I was invited here by a friend who raved over the food. Order of steamed crabs were awfully dry. My cajun salmon was ok, ai little overdone but vegetables were served cold. They replaced the vegetables were hot ones. Bar drinks were on point but all wine served was old. Although customer service was good on fixing things, I boxed my food as well as friend who steak was overseaoned. (She stated she would fix it later, we left to realize we left our boxes at the bar ..no more than a minute...they claim they threw my food away but kept my friend steak on the side. This does not work for a group of friends or coworkers who may want to have separate checks or split a check. Sad that's not an option at a restaurant. Limits the customers.
