My adult child went to Dr Tran recently for an immunization but received the incorrect vaccine. I said to the MA that it was a MEDICATION ERROR but the MA said that Dr Tran said it was ok my child got the extra dose. Honestly it was a MEDICATION ERROR but they didn't admit to it. Luckily, my adult child only had sore arm from the two injections but imagined if the patient was an infant or child. What would happen if it was a different medication....its a scary thought.... Make sure your child gets the correct immunization...double check and ask. Im very doubtful how competent are the MAs and Dr Tran. read more

Dr. Tran is one of my primary care Dr's. She takes her time and gives quality care. I particularly like that I am able to make a same day appointment for a physical, at least the last two times that I visited. She is very thorough and will even take out literature and research to explain things. I appreciate her taking the time to help me take care of whatever I come in for. I've been going to dr tran since probably I was in middle school and I'm 31 now. So she's been my primary for a very long time. She's very informative and is concerned about her patients well being. I've recently been having issues w sleeping because I work night shift so I went in to see about sleeping meds. We looked up a few medications and the side effects, drug interaction etc. It is refreshing to see a doctor that doesn't just hand you a bunch of prescriptions. She was concerned about not wanting me to end up being addicted to sleeping meds and then have to up the dosages. So with that aspect I'm glad she is actually concerned. Dr. Loanne Tran is friendly, detailed, and a great doctor!!! She cares for each patients and is very attentive to ensure all her patients are healthy & happy. Kids get sick all the time and it happens randomly, including mines, but I can count on bringing my kids in the same day (the friendly staffs know how important for parents to seek medical treatment whenever possible). I wanted a simple referral to an occupational therapist for my child who has difficulty chewing solid food. Dr. Tran refused, claiming "let the kid go hungry, he'll eat". She just have the utmost disregard of my parental concern. What effort does it take her to do a referral? She also argued with me that my kid's weight is "normal", despite my 3.5 year old weighs in at 25 lbs and has not gained weigh in more than a year! Dr. Tran tends to have a combative attitude and has no basic "customer service" mentality, let alone a warm, caring attitude you'd expect from a doctor, especially from a female pediatrician! My previous Dr retired and after much research came across Dr Tran and so far have been extremely happy with her. She takes the time to listen and does not make you feel at all rushed. She is very informative and thorough in explaining things and has always followed up when she said she would. Prescriptions and referrals and been dealt with promptly. For my family and I, believe that Dr. Tran is a wonderful Doctor. She is extremely thorough and she also is very caring. As for her chair side manner, she kind, considerate, a good listener and does everything she can to try to help. I do have a lot to be grateful for with Dr. Tran. When I first took my Mother to her in 2007, she did everything she could to help my Mother. My Mother was suffering so much with Diabetes and basically this debilitating illness shut down all her organs. Dr. Tran was always there for me either by phone or in person. Dr. Tran demonstrated empathy that only comes from the heart towards my Mother. Because of this, I chose Dr. Tran for myself. I am very shy when it comes to personal issues but she makes you feel comfortable no matter what the discussion is. As for referrals, my family and I have never had any issues getting a referral when it is really necessary. I most definitely recommend Dr. Tran as your Internist.
