The large space is reminiscent of a warehouse and is spaciously furnished with lovely timber outdoor furniture, they have erected a tent like structure on one side to make a pseudo private seating area that seems a little like it could belong to an arabic nomad... or maybe in Australia it is more likely to be a grey nomad with a little extra pizazz. On the other side of the room is a play area, enclosed with benches on each side. What a great idea for mums with bubs! They are definately the budget bakery option on the main drag in woodside, with the loaves priced at just a couple of dollars they offer fantastic value. Fresh rolls, baked goods and sweet treats are available, as well as bakers delight (but better) style pull aparts. I have a feeling all the cream used may be the real deal, but the jury is out until I've managed to get through all they have to offer. Great place for a casual bakery lunch!

I drop in here regularly when I'm in Victor to grab some of their fresh baked croissants for breakfast the next day - I've even been really keen once or twice and gone and got them fresh that morning, before I've even had coffee. This is probably more dangerous for them than me, I can be a bear without that coffee. Pies have nice flaky pastry, eclairs and honey sticks are full of gorgeously fresh cream - and the donuts are sufficiently sprinkled to get the kids bouncing off the walls before they've even tasted them. The business is cash only - but they've conveniently got a teller machine tucked in the corner so you can get the cash to buy your goods. There is everything here you can think of from a bakery, and it's all good - they do a range of rolls and sandwiches, too, and it's always service with a smile. Parking has just got a little restricted with the centre it's in being under construction with a shiny new IGA going in, but there's still a good amount of off street parking. Drop in when you're here - and try those croissants, they're spectacular.

Worst bakery around for any cakes or cake toppers. Recently…read morebought a $65 12inch cake for a special birthday and it looked horrible. There was crumbs all over it, the writing was half under the border, there were 4 big finger prints in the cream and a massive dent up the top. They charged us an extra $5 for 3-4 strawberries which weren't ripe, covered in blotches of cream, cut into all different sizes and still dirty. There was absolutely no love or care in their work and when we collected it, they had it on a really flimsy board that couldn't hold the weight of the cake and the box was completely ridiculous. It was too shallow so there was no way to cover the cake, it was 3x as wide as the cake so it barely fit in the car and it had jam all on the bottom side so it was horrible. The girls that served us didn't care one bit and wouldn't help us because it was the bakers area and he wasn't there anymore. Unfortunately they're the only local bakery to do custom cake toppers and they're definitely not worth the $15. They don't cut them out, they're blurry and covered in crumbs. I also got told two or three different ways to get them off the plastic which they said they couldn't remember which way was right so I'll just have to figure it out. I will never give them another chance after being disappointed every single time!

I was so astonished and mind-blown by the arrays of magnificent-looking choices I only bought a vanilla slice because my head was spinning. It was utterly wonderful, so the next day I went back, bought a gluten-free chocolate brownie because it was the only choccy brownie I saw, and a chocolate croissant. Snarfed the entire croissant that evening figuring the brownie would last better in the fridge. Today, after almost 24 hours and cold from its brown bag in the fridge, it's still got to be the chocolatiest, richest, tastiest brownie I've had in many a long year (& I'm a lot closer to 80 than the last time I had any shop-bought baked treat this wonderful.) Not much to say about the ambiance because such impressive baked goods outshone everything else, though the interior did seem as clean, bright and shiny as it should be and the service was cheerful, prompt and helpful especially given how busy they were in waves. I was also tickled to see the treats for littlies, from tiny rainbows with clouds at both ends, to unicorns to a Minion an adult fan I know would love. I do expect to get to try their meat pies as well, but again, haven't yet been able to make up my mind which to try first. This review is only "pretty epic" because the bakery is!

Those who have been keeping up with my Yelps will know that I am a Bakery Bitch! I am a slave to the pastry and a devotee to the sloppy meat pie filling. When I was running a weekend BBQ at my workplace I would drop by here to pick up the bread, which is wonderful and fresh every morning. Their cakes are thick and full, which you may or may not consider to be a good thing depending on whether you're on a diet or not... Either way, they're good value for money!! They offer the usual bakery items with brilliant flavours and large serves and I can personally recommend the fresh bread, but make sure you go there first thing in the morning to make the most of it. The earlier you buy it the nicer it is!! Oh that's right I asked a question didn't I? So they own a bakery, we've established that, are they fabulous though? Fabulous is a pretty strong word... I'd say they're really damn nice. Then again, the "Really Damn Nice Baker Boys" doesn't have that nice ring to it... or the movie reference.
