    Double
    Cesar Q.

Nestled nearly 2 hours away from NYC in the quiet sleepy town of Clinton is probably the best lobster roll I've ever had. Does it get better if you keep venturing deep into New England territory? Plenty of parking, it's outdoor seating but there's a covering in case it rains, it sits close to the harbor if you like that sea air. Bathrooms are porta potties but they were super clean, had tissue and hand wash. Now to the nitty gritty! We shared a NE chowder that was to die for. I had the double and it was worth it, they weren't stingy with the meat, flavor and butter ratio was just right. Staff was friendly and expeditious, no complaints there. Would definitely stop again, perfect lunch break spot on the way to the city or further into New England.

Delicious lobster rolls! My friend took us here because this was her favorite place for lobster rolls. We ordered them to go this time but I'll have to enjoy them there next time. Lots of lobster meat and butter. We also ordered the lobster bisque with a few lobster chunks. It was also delicious but I wish there was more meat. We also had coleslaw but I thought they were ok.

We stopped at Lobster Landing for one of their famous lobster rolls, often voted among the best in Connecticut -- and it did not disappoint. The regular 4-ounce roll was $29 (coleslaw is extra), and it was fresh, buttery, and well worth it. It's a BYOB spot, so we brought a couple of beers along, which paired perfectly with the meal. The setup is casual: you place your order at the shack, grab a seat, and wait for your name to be called. Seating options include picnic tables by the ordering area or tables overlooking the water -- both with a relaxed, seaside vibe. Parking was easy when we arrived, but as we left, spaces were filling up and people were waiting. The porta-potties were surprisingly clean (about as good as porta-potties get). Food-wise, everything was satisfying. My husband had the sausage with peppers and onions -- hearty, flavorful, and generous. The New England clam chowder was excellent: creamy, loaded with clams and potatoes, and even better once we added a little pepper and some oyster crackers. Overall, it was a classic New England seafood shack experience -- casual, delicious, and memorable.

Lobster roll was decent. The roll wasnt really crisp or as buttery as I'd like. Lobster bisque was really nice. My disappointment was the corn on the cob. It was soggy and had no flavor. It should still be in season. I think it was over-boiled. The staff lady who rung us up was very friendly. Beautiful view and half seating is under a canopy, which is appreciated.

1/4lb lobster roll and clam chowder. Both were excellent!

Awesome little shack style restaurant in a super cute little town. I'd actually consider doing a 2-3 night rental and take a little vaca here. The lobster was sweet and buttery. The clam chowder was not overly creamy or too thick. It was perfect! The staff was super friendly too!

This is hands down the best lobster roll I've ever had! It's an adorable little seafood shack in a marina and trust me when I say you will not regret going here! I highly recommend it and the clam chowder was fantastic as well! They have a few picnic tables if you want to eat there on the water, or you can take it and go becuase it comes wrapped to go.

Loved coming here after a day at the beach! It was so delicious and the service is great. We came around 5:30 on a Sunday evening near the end of August. There was hardly even a line and it was a gorgeous day. Cannot wait to return

All I have to say is delicious lobster roll and great customer service!! I would definitely recommend!

The sausage and peppers sandwich was very good and well priced. The lobster roll was tasty as well but it has a disproportionate amount of meat from the tips of the claws which I don't care for. They have a bunch of outdoor tables set up in shade and sun to eat at.

We go to this wildly popular spot every year. It's the best of all the lobster places in my opinion, just ahead of the Lobster Pound in Guilford. Tender, buttery lobster in generous amounts on a special roll they get from VT in order to have one that tastes great and doesn't fall apart. Owner Enea Bacci is friendly, colorful and often on site. We've chatted with him a time or two. There's a great article about him here: http://tellnewengland.com/lobsterlanding.

AMAZING!!!! I am usually finicky about lobster but this was soooo juicy and smothered in buttery deliciousness!! The meat was so tender and not chewy or over cooked! The coleslaw was perfect, not too much mayonnaise! The scenic view while eating is beautiful end to the day! Definitely worth the stop!!! Parking is limited to a small parking lot or on the street

I have been wanting to go here for so long. The problem is the line is always so long after the beach but this time I decided to go when they first opened before the beach and There was no line!! The lobster roll with butter was so delicious! The hot dog was also delicious! Everyone was so nice and the view was so nice!! I will definitely be back!!

You're right by the water, and there are tables in the shade (if you can find one!). Service was quick, even with a long line it didn't take long at all. This roll was good, not great. Market price for the lobster roll and although it is stated in the menu, it's a fairly small hot dog bun. What I did enjoy was the chunks of lobster, no filler at all. I wasn't a fan of the lobster bisque, but that's a personal preference. Spent $80 for two of us. Left still feeling hungry, so although it was delicious I don't think getting a double would be worth the price. Shame that inflation has gotten so high.

We were after lunch but before dinner (around 3:00) so it wasn't busy. We sat at a high top On the bar area and our server was the bartender. He was excellent throughout and checked in often - we appreciate that. It wasn't busy but we've all seen others just BS with co-workers when they're slow versus this. We started by sharing a bowl of lobster bisque and it was excellent! Thick, with a nice sherry overtone and small bits of lobster - lots of them. We both really liked it - better than most others we've had. I had stuffed shrimp abd liked the stuffing - not too dense with a little bit of crab, shrimp and breadcrumbs and whatever else - it all worked well! Very good stuffed shrimp BUT, just 3 shrimp. I thought that was small for an entree that I don't believe was a lunch plate or anything. Fries were good and so were the fresh julienne vegetables. My wife had the regular size lobster roll and just like mine - hers was excellent but a tad smaller than what we get closer to home. But lobster tasted fresh and not overcooked; very tender and flavorful. We had excellent food & service. The decor is a tad dated but that always seems to work and be the way it is with seafood restaurants in shore areas.

I had every intention of ordering the lobster nachos (because hello?!), but the portion looked massive. I will definitely be coming back for that with a friend. I pivoted and grabbed a lobster roll instead, which came with crunchy house made chips and coleslaw. The chips were so yummy and crispy and salty, I almost finished them before I had my first bite of the lobster roll. Even the water they brought over was crisp and cold, which I truly appreciated on a warm afternoon. Also, I tried the clam chowder, because if you're by the water in New England, it's practically a requirement. Clammy, creamy, and comforting...just how it should be. Again, almost finished and filled up before my first bite of the lobster roll! I felt satisfied with the smaller, 4oz roll. The roll was perfectly toasted and there was just enough butter to moisten up the plump lobster. I'm drooling just writing this. It started off pretty quiet, but the crowd picked up once the live music kicked off. The vibe was exactly what you'd want: easy, breezy, and full of locals who clearly knew this was the spot. The bathrooms outside are a new addition from the last few years. Very clean and practical. I just love the vibe of this place. Food? Delicious. Service? Wicked awesome. Cleanliness? Impeccable. Don't forget to add that the food came out in under 20 minutes. Already planning my return to try the ahi tuna sandwich and finally conquer those lobster nachos. And yes, it's BYOB, so bring a cooler and bring some wine. Then claim a picnic table, and make an afternoon of it!
