Great atmosphere and lots of people watching. Food was so so, ordered Thursday special, with chicken wings and pizza. Wings were good, pizza, not to our liking. But the crust was great! I believe the owner might have stopped at our table to make sure all was well. We were pretty hungry at this point, so just said it was fine. We came in on a Sunday afternoon for lunch and drinks. The atmosphere is a regular bar with pool tables in the back room and a small stage for a band. I was disappointed in the boneless wings. I would not recommend them. Pressed nuggets, fried and sauced. I could not eat them. I'm not a picky person. My husband's Patty melt was good and I ended up ordering a burger, which was good. Fries, not as good. We also were surprised that we had a couple of "convenience fees" on our bill. We had two drinks each and our lunch was almost $70 not including tip. L as than impressed. The food here was very yummy, and the "What the Hell" wing sauce was tasty with a nice spice to it! However, it took about 15 minutes for someone to come over to me after I had sat myself like the sign instructed. My wife and I love a good low-key, non-corporate joint, a good Bloody Mary, good food...we got none of that. The Bloody Mary was basically Tomato Juice and Tabasco, no tang, zip or personality to it with an olive and a lime for garnish. My wife ordered a Cobb salad that was lackluster, cold flavorless chicken...she asked for no Bleu Cheese, and they delivered, but it had Cheddar all over it, (Maybe ask if they want no cheese if there are 2 cheeses). I had the Tacos, they were what I expected for bar tacos, just soggy, but decent flavor. The staff was nice enough, good teamwork since I didn't know who was my server; one person took a drink order, one delivered, one took a food order, etc... not planning on going back. :-( read more

We have been here many times and the food is good. Brought friends for lunch and because we had dinner plans we both decided to split our lunches. We knew they charge a courtesy fee, which we assume is for splitting a order, so we were fine with it. Our problem was we weren't sure how clean my husband's glass of ice tea was and when we saw the bill and realized our two soft drinks and two ice teas were $ 4 each we were shocked. I had the chef's salad, it was tasty & fresh. She had something they called nachos, not so hot. Service the same, not so hot. Bill had a convenient 'fee' what the hell? Salad dressing .50 cents, chocolate syrup on ice cream $.50, extra napkins $.50, bar service fee $.50 service fee to put bill on table $.50.... We came here on a weekend looking for a cheap breakfast spot that serves Bloody Marys. It wasn't bad but the vibes just wasn't for us. Visited WTH/Slaughterhouse bar & grill for Lunch today. Had not been since the New Owners took over. Read some of the reviews & was concerned that We would be disappointed with the "New" establishment. Did Not happen. The food was as Good as it was before. Tried to find one the Grumpy, Lazy Inconsiderate Waitresses others complained about but they must have had the day off. Our Waitress was Friendly, Helpful & Spot On with doing Her job. Also had the Pleasure of having a Korean War Vet sitting in the booth behind us. Hopefully He was pleasantly surprised that "Someone" picked up His check. Give WTH/SH a try. So sorry. I've been looking forward to visiting this place a long time. The ads look great. We waited 1 hr for drinks. And longer for food. The fries were stone cold dead. The fish fry very greasy crusty but hot. We couldn't get our second drink till we went up to hostess and begged. Then the drinks were so strong couldn't drink them and drive home. Waited, begged for the bill to come. The place is rough and questionable clean. So sorry. Wish we hadn't come. Then we asked for a box for cold uneatable fried to take home an put in air fryer. Instead the plates were removed, fries and all to the garbage. The bill was not split between couples as first requested and waited 20 min to find someone to help with bill. Went last night for the first time and had a blast. They had karaoke going and the sever was awesome. We played some pool, had some drinks and ate some good food the pulled pork sandwich was HUGE! I could only eat about half. Cool atmosphere and cool people. Will definitely return. read more

I am currently here with friends for an event. I ordered a liquid Marijuana. I was not aware it comes in a shot, I have always received it in a a drink. The bartender was very busy but when I told her that I wanted the drink, she told me with attitude to next time tell her I wanted it in a drink. When she came back with the corrected drink I apologized because I didn't know. Proceed to the next drink. My husband stands in line and orders again. She tells my husband she can make it if I really want it but they are really busy, if I could order a different drink. Next drink a server comes around and takes drink orders. She must not have heard me say I wanted the drink, not the shot but the bartender should have know from the same drink orderwhat we wanted. And the kicker is I paid more than double for the drink than I ever have at any other bar. read more

Out here visiting Phoenix, we stopped into a bar that we had never stopped that before. We were hesitant but the outside was very appealing. As we walked inside, we felt very comfortable thinking it was just going to be a simple hole in the wall bar. We were mistaken. The assortment of drinks, food, and entertainment filled all of our needs and desires. We hadThe what the hell burger and it was awesome! If this place was in our hometown, we would attend frequently. Unsure if we will be back in this part of town again in the near future but if we are, we will Shorely attend. Pretty average for a sports bar and grill, but I did really love the seasoning on their fries. It wasn't super packed for a Saturday night, and they had live music. The food was decent, the service was decent except that the server forgot my blue cheese dressing that I wanted for my buffalo chicken wrap. The wrap was good for bar food and the fried zucchini stickers were fresh and hot. For a person who doesn't usually go to biker bars, this one was pretty good. read more

The service by Stacey is awesome. We come in regularly and she is out preferred server. She is always so friendly and greets us with a smile. When Stacey isn't there, we like to have Alicia serve us. We feel like family from either of these ladies. We didn't like that some of our favorite menu items were removed and there are a couple of people that are always there and it looks like they work there but are never friendly and always scowling. No smiles and do not greet the customers. We go to see Stacey. She is fabulous and we love her! If you go there, be sure to see her! read more

I ordered the fish and shrimp, with onion rings and a house salad. The shrimp was OK, but I only got 3 instead of the four promised on the menu. The salad was likewise OK, but I asked for blue cheese dressing 3 times and still ended up with ranch. The onion rings were over-cooked. Worst by far was the fish - three tiny pieces of fish that were soggy and almost too salty to eat. A very disappointing meal and definitely not worth the $15 I was charged. I haven't had a meal this bad since I ate at Cobb's in Apache Junction 10 years ago. I will not visit What the Hell again. read more

The bartender was counting money at the register and the only server to be seen was having a good time with a male customer. We stood for a few minutes to be offered a seat or menus or something but no one seamed in the mood to be of assistance. So we left. On one took any notice of us. I love biker bars and this was great. Only about 15 people or so in the bar when we went in, but loved the atmosphere and the drinks were perfect! Music playing in the background was the best.
