It comes topped with bacon, gunslinger mayo, pepper jack cheese, and jalapeños on a cheddar jalapeño bun--he said it had the perfect level of spice. He paired it with the Cajun garlic fries, which he couldn't stop raving about--they're seriously to die for. I went with the Caesar salad topped with Cajun chicken, and it was absolutely terrific--fresh, flavorful, and really satisfying. Been a regular at this location for the past 3 years or so. Not sure if it's been a management change...but the last few months, this place has taken a total dive. I'd never had a bad meal prior to this, but food quality has TANKED... this evening our food took FOREVER, and when I finally came, mine was cold and the chicken was super dry, and my Wife's was super hot, and obviously just prepared. The staff and bartenders are always on point, but it's becoming more and more evident at the lack of competent management, and any minuscule form of quality control. It's been consistently getting bad...but tonight was hands down the worst restaurant experience we've had in over a decade. Please fire them all and start over. So bummed, we've been going to The Hub for years, before their fire,(Sossaman Location) and to the other locations while it was being rebuilt. Today we went & they have reduced their menu. It's a third of what it used to be. No Korean BBQ, no steak salad, I didn't see pizza any more... We order the fish, Not great, way over cooked. Unfortunately, we will not be going back. 9/23/25 First visit to this location. N/E corner of Baseline & Sossaman. Parking 4/5 Busy shared parking in strip mall. Atmosphere 4/5 My rating is based on Sports Bars and their other north Mesa location where we've been to twice. This location looks dated. If you're into sports bars it checks all the boxes. It appears there are allot of regulars here. We had a group sit next to us that were Loud and foul. No concerns about anyone but themselves. Service 3/5 Host seating wait time was ridiculous given the amount of empty tables. When we arrived a large women's group was leaving the east large group room and that side of the restaurant and they closed service to that side. Server service 10/5 Once seated we were met by Delilah. We were hungry and knew what we wanted based on prior visits at their other location. Delilah made quick work of getting our order in and returned with Iced Teas. Throughout our visit Delilah was attentive, was a good sport when we greeted her with her namesakes radio show "Delilah" . She was the bright light during our visit and saved the Resturant from a lower score. Lunch outing today with my Golden Vista neighbors & our friends from List Dutchman Resort. Amanda was our waitress & she was fantastic, along with the staff who helped her expedite orders. We had a dining room all to ourselves to eat, mingle, & enjoy. This was my first time at this location so a real treat for me. I had the Kitchen Sink appetizer & it was delicious! It consists of pretzel chips, kettle chips, & tortilla chips with queso & also a dip consisting of black beans, sour cream, salsa, & guacamole. Very good & huge portion. First time in since the fire, they did a nice job inside. The service was good, the food, not so much. Southwest salad had super dry and extremely salty chicken, actually over seasoned. I remember when The Hub on Sossaman and baseline first opened. The owners and employees took pride in the food quality and customer service. I've given them numerous opportunities as a consumer to step up and provide the same services and food that they did in the beginning. It just seems like as time goes on it doesn't get any better. The prices always increase and the food quality and portion sizes always decrease. This is the first time I've been back to this location since they had their fire and it's just boring. Sports bars should be fun and inviting and it's like eating lunch or dinner in a basement. During my last visit, my server was pretty decent. He was a nice guy. We've eaten at the Hub many times - but this was by far the worst experience we have had. It all started when we asked to be seated and wanted to sit outside (perk of December in Arizona) and I had this inkling we were going to be forgotten and sure enough, we were. It took 15 minutes for someone to notice us at 4:45 pm on a Friday night. Then the food was downhill - my salad was inedible. I was so bummed because it sounded so good! The chicken was tough as can be, the dressing wasn't very good, and the greens tasted off. Also my black iced tea tasted burnt. Total bummer! This was my first time visiting this location since it reopened after the fire, and the place looks fantastic. There are plenty of tables and an awesome private party banquet room. The banquet room even has a garage-style door that can be pulled down to divide the space into two separate rooms. The best part? You can reserve this space without a fee! All you need is a reservation and a minimum order needed from your guests for food/drinks. This would be a great spot to reserve for a work party or even a birthday dinner. Three out of the six of us ordered the Holy Bacon Batman Burger on a pretzel bun with garlic fries. It's an incredible burger--filling, packed with toppings, and full of flavor. The garlic aioli and generous amount of bacon really take it to the next level. Probably the best burger I've ever ordered at a restaurant! The garlic fries are amazing and delicious too and 50 cents to upgrade to. Plus, if you go on Wednesdays, all burgers are $2 off, and desserts are half-price. Another highlight of our visit was trivia night on Wednesday at 7 PM. The first time we came here they served a rock hard bun for the burger. Manager tried to make it right and gave a little discount and remade the burger. And it was okay. Today we gave them another try but didn't get as far as to even be able to order food. We walked in and there were several empty tables covered with dirty dishes. Took a while to get somebody to come over if that was willing to clean the table. She begrudgingly did it, If she made sure her attitude conveyed how annoyed she was... and then when she was done clearing the table and wiping the crumbs on the floor and the seat, she threw some filthy menus on the table that looked like they had seen better days. The grime and crud that was stuck on those menus plus The poor attitude of our would-be server, was enough to make us get up and walk out. I have a friend who's been coming in to visit for years. I took him to the Hub some years back and he ordered the Calzone and loved it. We're from NY and he compared it to some of the best he ever had. So he would always order the Calzone. One night he ordered something different, the Chicken Parm Sandwich. He loved that too and last week he wanted to go back. Much to his surprise, the Calzone and Chicken Parm are no longer on the menu. He tried another meal that was just OK and told me that he'd rather not come back anymore as his favorites are gone.
