I just opened a box with the new improved inner liner and was greeted with moth webs and a moth larva right on top. 3) They used offer really good bulk purchase deals on their website, with a genuine 5.5oz of contents, but now they have evidently been acquired by some Asian mega-investors Their new website is incredibly poorly designed and nearly non-navigable, and they have discontinued online sales. 4) The price frankly has reached my pain point, and as much as I like their ingredient list, I am actively searching healthful alternatives after being a loyal customer for several years.

So I recently tried my luck again and, still, at least a quarter of the crackers were broken. From comments all over the internet, it's clear to see I am not the only one with this complaint. I don't think the company cares because they have not changed their packaging methods. Buyers beware! Buying Mary's Gone Crackers is an expensive gamble. I refuse to purchase these again until they package these crackers with a see-thru window so I can see what I am getting. Since they are flat crackers why can't they stack them in a row with a window like Sesmark Rice Thins which, by the way, are perfectly packaged crackers and never broken.

This was my family's go-to mexican restaurant growing up (still is, as a matter of fact). I ate…read morethere for the first time in over a decade today (I moved away and am home visiting) and they are still churning out the best Mexican food I've ever eaten. I don't know what their secret ingredient is (I suspect maybe celery salt), but they get a salty smoky spiced flavor in their salsa that I have never even come close to anywhere else, and the char they get on their meats is just fantastically savory. Brought my husband in and he agrees- best Mexican food he's had in his life. And on top of the good food, the service is friendly and the cost is very reasonable for the quality and portion size. And don't forget to stop by their adjoining market! They have a deli that sells everything from burritos to chicharones, and fresh conchas and other baked delights, all cooked in-house. All the spices and unusual supplies you might need to channel your inner abuela, every snack or treat you may need to bribe your favorite nina/nino, and a meat selection that will make your mouth water to boot! I always pick up at least 3 big containers of the salsa to take home- I may have to freeze some because they don't have a ton of preservatives, and they may not be quite as fresh when they thaw, but still the best salsa en el mundo. (For those of you who are Gabriel Iglesias fans, this is the perfect place to fill a certain type of gift basket for a certain demographic, if you know what I mean- *wink, wink*). My recommendation is simple: EAT HERE!!!!

Where to start. The meat market excellent. We get a lot of our meat here. Good reasonable pricing…read more The guys are helpful. The older one always friendly. As far as the hot food. If I was a manager it's ok to hire the younger youth but expect quality over throwing it all together and doing the bare minimum. You have to manage and over the see the effort. The last few times over several months it's getting worse unfortunately. Asking for any toppings is such a hassle. They give u one jalapeño and if we ask for more the customer service is really bad. Bad attitude and when it's sliced it looks unclean and so messy. The meat this time didn't taste fresh. If a manager reads this. Something needs to change. I also picked up some bread and it was extremely hard and dry. Idk what's happening. Going down hill. Expect better from your employees and it definitely needs more care.

I will say to the owners, for a business next to the HWY the place looks drab. My suggestion would to pressure wash the outside and maybe pull the dead flowers out. Thanks for all the good food and memories.

Ice Burgie and I have a love/hate relationship. Let's talk about the love part first. If you like…read morepellet ice then this is the place for you! Many sodas options to choose from as well as syrups to add in (think raspberry Dr Pepper, vanilla orange soda). Their shakes and malts are great and affordable. My kids love going for shakes after dinner on hot nights. As for food - my kids usually stick to the chicken fingers and they pretty good. They aren't dry like other places and they have decent flavor. The BBQ sauce is good to dip into! You get big portions of fries for the cost, however as far as onion rings and fried mushrooms they get skimpy. I love them, but not exactly worth the cost. They need to up the quantity on those. The jalapeño poppers are always a go to. My husband and I pretty much stick with the bacon burger, mushroom burger, or the bulldog burger (on sourdough). I get my burgers dry, but with the fixings and everything always tastes fresh. For most menu items the cost seems reasonable, but for some the portions do not match the price. We do love the history and nostalgia behind this place and how much it is adored by locals. Ok...the hate. Kind of what I mentioned above - the price for some things just isn't worth it due to quantity. It's not a quality issue, it's more of the lack of "bang for your buck". Menu prices should be consistent and mimic the "low cost" if that's what they are going for. It can get busy and the wait can take awhile. Now, this means a few things. 1. It's a good assumption that if it's busy then it's good. 2. They make the food to order. We need to remember good things come to those who wait. However, if you do want your food in a timely manner and do not want to worry about crowds/lines I highly suggest calling in your order. We do this a lot in the summer even if we are just ordering milkshakes. The staff ....attitudes are inconsistent. Most of the employees are students and all female. I've always wondered why I have never seen any male employees there. Hmmmm ?? But yes, it's true, you can go and have the kindest personality taking your order or you can go and get someone taking your order that you would be nervous to eat after they have spoken to you. I do think that Ice Burgie needs to do better about making sure employees are good with people/customers. In other reviews on here it's mentioned quite frequently that this is a reoccurring issue. Ok lastly - the seating is sketchy. The old vintage concrete tables and benches in the front are cracked, loose and need fixing. In the back there are picnic tables that have seen better days. The wood needs to be replaced or fixed. Splinters anyone??? Possibly updating the outdoor tables with new ones would be a great idea. Other than that it's a great establishment and I would recommend everyone try it at least once. Remember...the shakes and the fries are the most bang for your buck!
