The staff checked in on my relative regularly and expressed care. I also got to check out their GIFT SHOP on site which was pretty cool and very reasonably priced. They have a lot of nice things in there. They sell kimonos, cute mint and pill boxes, hand towels with cute designs, glass and plastic hummingbird decorations, and much more. Fountain Valley 92708. I got there early today to see if I could be seen earlier, as I have done many times in other facilities before. They told me they had 5 patients before me, and that couldn't be done. I was OK with that, EXCEPT that in 20 minutes NOBODY was called and my appointment time was approaching and 2 other patients had arrived with appointments before mine. 10 minutes before my appointment time, there were 7 people before me and I definitely was going to be seen VERY LATE. BECAUSE I had another VERY IMPORTANT doctor appointment, I went to the window and asked to CANCEL my lab appointment. I had to reschedule my lab and doctor's appointment more than a month later. To the lab I give ONE STAR, but there is no other place to do it, so I had to use this Urgent Care place.

From the medical assistant to the person who drew my blood, everyone was friendly and made the visit easy. Everything moved smoothly, the office was clean, and I had a great experience overall. I also loved the waiting room--it felt open and spacious, and the view of the sky was really nice. It made the whole office feel bright and relaxing.

I don't think I would ever switch offices or doctors unless they closed down LOL! Anyway, save your self some time in searching for the right doctor and come to Memorial Care of Huntington Beach. The flashlight exploded in my hand while I was trying to open it to change its batteries. Nothing was ruptured, but it stings, and there is a blister in my finger, the whole hand is tingling, and my ears are ringing. I went back inside to see if it was my turn because they said 45-an hour wait at 4:28 PM and the front desk starts raising her voice at me when I proved she was lying about her many attempts to reach me by phone, since it records missed calls and timestamps them. She called once, and left one message. She said they have a fifteen minute window, and I proved it was ten. Then she refused to have me seen, so I asked for my refund time stamped at 5:03 PM, so that was well inside the wait window they had given me upon my arrival. They just wanted to start their weekend, and they were not staffed for their patient traffic.

As a former Skilled Nursing Director, I knew it would be hard to find not just a care facility but a true community for her. She was my main concern. From the moment we arrived, we found exactly that! Danika, the Director, leads with compassion and strength. Olivia, the coordinator, brings a level of organization that made the transition feal seamless. Julie the secretary, greeted us with warmth every day. Making The Shores feel like home. Kaytlin, the activities director is slowly bringiing my non social mother back into life with her creativity and genuine joy. The employees ooze happiness with their jobs. The service is exceptional and its truly is a 5 star resort for the elderly. The menus are beyond brilliant and the food quality is a chefs kiss! The entertainment is beyond amazing, with numerous grand events to entertain family and the residents. Vivante isn't just an Assisted Living or Memory care facility. It is a touch of elegance that I am putting my name on the waiting list soon! I couldn't be happier with the care my mother is receiving. The employees go above and beyond to make each resident feel loved! I couldn't be more gratful that Vivante has walked alongside our family in such a vulnerable time! The facility director then asked us to leave as we were "not invited" by the resident whose cell phone and address book had been taken away. Feels a lot like prison. Can't be good for our friend's mental or physical well being. Police were then blocked from doing a mental health check.

If I could give Dr. Tran a zero rating I would. The worst and most painful pelvic exam I ever had…read more She treated me like a piece of meat. Rushed at that because she was late in seeing me for 2 hours. None of her staff informed me that she was going to be late. Maybe the reason why she was in a rush and the un-God ful painful treatment. She prescribed the wrong medication after consulting with another physician. She also ordered labs [full ovary and pelvic] ultra sound that was completely unnecessary. I am way past child bearing years, yet she justified the exam as though I was having a child. I suspect to get more revenue in the long run with unnecessary follow up exams that were also unwarranted. STAY AWAY if you are smart. Read her other reviews.
