Saw this spot a few blocks from my hotel. Trecked up in the heat and settled on the flan donut and the almond joy. The truck is pretty cool btw and they have some seating. Plus they serve coffee. Donuts were fresh but were just ok. Flavors were creative but didn't hit home for me. Flan addition on top was weird the almond joy donut was hard to eat and just pure shredded coconut flavor. Delicious! The whole family came this morning for breakfast. Lots of smiles and happy tummies. Easy to find. Some street parking or a pay lot. Cute setup with a couple tables. Owner is super. Best customer service! We got a 12 pack, cafe con leche and a cold brew with butterscotch. Coffees were very good. There are a lot of donut choices. If you get a 12 pack or more you can get as many flavors as you want. We tried the guava cream cheese, cannoli, blueberry cheesecake, Boston cream, blueberry pancake and maple bacon. They are made to order so be patient. They are perfectly packaged and soooo goooood. Our favorites were cannoli, blueberry cheesecake and blueberry pancake. The cannoli cream was piled high and so good. The blueberry was delicious. If you are downtown this is a must try. read more

Well the donuts are local and they are mini. On the website it wasn't clear to me if they only did catering but I waked over there anyway. Wasn't aware it was a food truck so walked right by it the first time. They assemble the toppings while you wait so can be a little bit of a wait depending on the line. They look precious and are priced accordingly. Nice toppings though. read more

You may have started seeing these mini donuts pop up everywhere. They're sold at The Cress Cafe for example. We enjoyed the fresh food truck experience. Not only are the choices fun and delicious but you know they're made with care. We had amazing service from Zoe who was so personable one of us even got a hug. In addition the owners, Gabby and Peter are the sweetest. Gabby made sure our complicated orders were communicated and ready on time and Peter spoke with us as we sat under the umbrellas enjoying the downtown view. We were fortunate to have met some NJ tourists who were ecstatic to have lucked out on approaching this food truck from Local Mini Donut Co. Came out here for a Yelp elite event this past Friday morning. This was a nice food truck in downtown Tampa and the two ladies running the show were so sweet. Spent the day with my wife walking around and specifically went to a great donut place we heard about in town, Local Mini Donut Co. This place was so cool and Gabby was the sweetest. The donut selection was so fun to choose from and the suggestions from the staff was exactly what I ended up getting. I really enjoyed the blue berry pancake donut and the guava cheesecake, delicious. We sat right outside in the middle of the city and chatted with Gabby who was so nice and informative. Stopped by this food truck in downtown Tampa today since we had heard so many good things about it and boy they did not disappoint. There is nice seating outside the food truck with umbrellas to protect you from the sun or even rain. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They made some great recommendations and we left there with 12 mini donuts. The mini donuts were warm and so delectable. I love maple bacon donuts and this one was so yummy. This time however, I decided to stop and join the line because I was craving donuts. There was only one person working that day which might have attributed to the long line. This was of no fault to her though because I could see she was working as fast as she could and when i got to the counter, she was very friendly and answered all the questions I had. I got the 4 count donuts and usually you only get one flavor with it but she was kind enough to give me two! I got the cookies and creme and the cinnamon bun. Both were very tasty. So tasty that I might've eaten the whole thing in one sitting? I don't recall haha! But I will definitely be back to try more flavors. (1) The new owner Gabby is an AMAZING woman!. After I placed my order, she kindly asked if I was in a rush letting me know her fresh new batch was about to come out so if I wanted to experience them warm it would take a bit longer. Not to mention that she treated me to two other creations because she wanted me to have an even greater understanding of how she serves love...in the shape of the most artful, spectacular looking (and tasting) donuts you can find anywhere. Words won't do justice to the delight both my eyes and mouth experienced. You've got to see and taste for yourself. (2) The cashier Yeeselly couldn't be nicer. She shared with me her favorites as I struggled to decide and honestly treated me like family. Skillfully informed of their product and genuinely pleasant and aiming to please, she really redefined what service with a smile looks and feels like. (3) Where the true value comes in is what you don't see as Gabby LOVES her community and as a former hospital employee, she has simply changed her environment to continue serving. She works with the unhoused, has created special events celebrating pride, hosts a space where those with special needs are welcome and the list goes on and on. Hands down, BEST experience ordering and talking to the owner, Gabby! She gave me amazing suggestions, and I ended up trying the Reese's cup donuts and blueberry pancakes with bacon on top. She even suggested adding marshmallow fluff to one of my Reese's to try, which added so much and was such a great topping. I loved the girls working the truck and wouldn't hesitate stopping by for a sweet treat. I really hate to give 2 stars, but both times I've cast my shadow on their plexiglass order window I've been disappointed. The first instance I arrived around 11:50am. I knew they closed at noon, but I hoped I wasn't too late. The cashier greeted me warmly and took my order, which was two sets of 4 donuts at $4.50 each. I swiped my card and signed my name and happily looked forward to munching on cute, delicious donuts. Then the cashier suddenly realized she had already thrown all the trash out and cleaned up, so she didn't have any donuts available at all. I thought it was odd she forgot that and made a sale, but I knew I was close to their closing time. So we cancelled the sale, and I figured I'd come back another day and try again. I tried again yesterday around 11:30am and ordered the same things. There was even space for a fifth donut in one box, so the employee gifted me an extra one. Great! Well, disappointment swept over me after the first bite. These donuts were rock hard. I guess they had been sitting out all morning or even from the day before. So hard...just 10 minutes after I got them. The Oreo bits and cinnamon toast crunch weren't stale, so that was nice, at least. But, honestly, I didn't even want to eat them any more. I did, however, finish them all since I paid $9.76 plus tip for them. It was a task that elicited no enjoyment. I love donuts, and had high hopes for this little truck. Saw some Ads on Facebook and finally was in the area to try them, I ordered 12 donuts cinnamon roll, bourbon bacon, homer, reeses, canolli, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and M&M.
