We rented Stack bins for our move and they recommended Local Moving LLC to us as movers. We LOVED working with the team who helped us move. Kannen, Jacob and Randolph showed up on time, introduced themselves and each shook my hand. They worked incredibly quickly and as a team. Every piece of our furniture was wrapped with a blanket, then with plastic wrap. This assured that none of our furniture was damaged during the move, none of our home's doors were scratched or dented. Our walls were in the same shape before and after the move. I can't believe how quickly the team hustled. We have a TON of stuff in our small space, so when they showed up with a 26' truck, we were happy. Initially I had a set amount of things to move, but once I saw that the truck wasn't full, I opened more closets and loaded more things. They didn't sigh, whine or complain. Simply moved things as needed. Of course the team is really strong, so that helped me have confidence that nothing would get dropped. They have a great system for moving things, communicating with one another and getting the job done. Scheduling the move was easy. The end of the week and a weekend are peak days, so I picked an off day and got the rate of $199/hour. I did have to remind the sales person the rate they quoted (twice) but I had it in writing and each time I did that, it wasn't a big deal. I didn't feel like a jerk or like I was negotiating. Moving our 900 square foot home (remember, we have tons of stuff) - AND doing an extra stop at my parent's house for some couches - took 7.5 hours. That did include travel time from Denver to the first location; travel from the first to second location; travel to our new home and travel to their closest location. The team took a 15 minute (unpaid) lunch break and seriously hustled the rest of the time. We were so pleased with the job they did, I would hire them again immediately! I also felt completely safe with the team of three. They were friendly, easy to talk to and when I gave suggestions or asked for specific help, they jumped at it. I truly feel lucky that it turned out so well. Worth every penny we paid. We saved our parents, our friends and our backs by having professionals do the work for us. Don't forget to tip your movers. We gave $100 per mover and made sure they had lunch paid for. I think they would have done a fantastic job regardless, but it seems like a great practice. read more

I reached out to several moving companies in the Denver Metro area to get a quote to move my household goods from storage in Littleton to my new home in Broomfield. The caveat being the need to move a very heavy safe up steps into the home and a staircase in the home to the main level. Most of the companies didn't even respond and the few that did had rates that were much higher than Local Moving LLC. Local Moving LLC had no issues with the safe move so we agreed to do business. One thing to mention at this point. The salesman did not mention that there is a $100.00 additional charge to move over-sized or heavy-weight items. The good news is the additional fee was waived since it wasn't communicated at the time of the quote. Customer service = A+. On to moving day... As promised, the moving team called before 8am (our scheduled start time) to confirm that they were on their way. The crew arrived and shortly after introductions (Junior, Creg and Scott L.) got right to work loading the truck. These guys worked well together. Very coordinated and constantly in motion. It took less than an hour for the crew to empty my 10'X15' storage including the safe. When we arrived at the house we did a walk-through of the home so they could get an idea of where everything was going. First things first, the safe. Junior, Creg and Scott L. muscled the safe up all the stairs and got it placed with the utmost care. Banisters were wrapped, floors covered and precision movements made to protect all surfaces. After the safe was in place the rest of the truck was unloaded in the most efficient manner I've seen. Items were offloaded based on where they would end up in the house by one of the guys while the other two guys moved the boxes in. The whole process went quickly, everything made it in one piece and landed where it needed to for quick unpacking. A+. The total time from start to finish was a little over 4 hours. I couldn't be happier! A closing note. Junior, Creg and Scott L. were great to work with. They were friendly, funny and fast. Without a doubt the best moving experience I've had yet. read more

We used Local Moving Company for our move a few days ago, and had a great experience. Definitely recommend using them for your next move! From pre-move to the day-of the move, they were professional, had great communication, and kept all our belongings safe. We did a lot of research for various moving companies within the Denver area; we read reviews, got quotes, and saw who would be reliable, have good pricing, and be great to work with. Local Moving Company stood out, and we're so glad we chose them. Even from before the actual move date, they did a Facetime walkthrough for our home (since we were staying more cautious with social distancing) and answered all the questions we had. We had to actually shift our move date a few times, and every time we contacted them they were so accommodating with helping us find different date options that fit our schedule. They made what can be a stressful situation so much easier with their kindness, quick responses, and great service. They'd even get back to us over the weekend, and Kyle helped us numerous times as we were figuring out our plans. Often you can get a quick call back or email if you email them first. And then the actual move day went super smoothly and was awesome. They had all the supplies needed, with furniture pads, mattress covers, plastic wrap, dollies, etc. We had Ricardo M, Dean, Ricardo G, and Garrett for our moving team, and they were careful with wrapping things, packing everything into the truck, and transporting. They moved fast, considering we have a 3 bedroom house, which was so appreciated since it is an hourly rate. And they were so great with asking questions along the way to make sure things were packed and transported to our preferences. When i looked on yelp for movers, i only contacted 5 star companies. Out of the 5 i contacted, only Local Moving called me back. they were very upbeat, explained policies/procedures and pricing as well as an overview of the company. I could tell that the owner definitely takes pride in his business, and it shows. They stayed in touch prior to the move-both via email and phone calls. On the day of the move, WOW! Trevor and Junior called to tell me they were on their way. When they arrive they were very professional as i showed them what was to be moved. They were fast and efficient! Trevor even dusted off the trunk to see if there were any marks before loading it. He found some and asked if I was aware of them. I was not, so he showed me just so i could see what was there prior to it getting moved. Once at the new location, they were again quick and efficient. There was a leak in the apartment that necessitated me going to the leasing office for a few minutes. I was able to trust Junior and Trevor to unload on their own while I took care of the leak issue. AWESOME!! I got back and they finished unloading shortly thereafter. definitely recommend this company. they are courteous, fast, friendly, and most of all- hassel free! This was the 7th move that my wife and I have had in our lives together and by far, this was the best moving experience we've ever had. We had it set up for a 2-3 hour "packing" day which was extended another hour+ because we decided we wanted the professionals to pack more than we had initially intended....they were happy to do whatever we asked them to do. The second day was for the loading to move most of our belongings to their inside storage units. We were very pleased with every employee from time we met personally with RJ their On Site Estimator to the men who did the packing and loading. Each conducted themselves professionally while being efficient at their job while being engaging and friendly at every point. RJ had mentioned that the loaders would take extra care while moving furniture and other belongings to the truck.....they did as they wrapped every hall and stairway railing and our doors with blankets to prevent nicks and scratches. Maybe all the moving companies now do that but we've never had it done during the other 6 moves and not one of the other companies we got bids from ever mentioned it. I called Local Moving LLC at the last minute on Wednesday for a Saturday move. I expected like I got from other movers...attitude! BUT NO! They were very courteous and set me up with a great price and perfect time for my schedule. But I have to say that wasn't even the beginning! Kyle and AlDean called me an hour before they were going to be there and it was exactly an hour later when they showed up! RIGHT ON TIME! They were courteous, polite and friendly. Chris and Jayden did a great job with my move. I got a call before they set out, letting me know they were on their way. Their arrival was right on time, and after a quick rundown on my items they promptly got to work, sweating hard to get things loaded quickly. Extra care was taken with all larger and sensitive items, wrapping them with moving blankets and/or plastic. I'm sure every move presents its own challenges, and I know mine had some difficult spaces to get through and some large heavy items. Chris and Jayden took all the bumps along the road in stride and had great attitudes throughout the move. The unload went as smoothly and efficiently as anyone could ask for. My team of Xavier L., Juilian M., and Brenden S. were the best movers I could have hoped for! I used Local Moving LLC for an in-state move, from a (very full) 1-bedroom apartment to a 4-bedroom house. They understood the complications of moving between different home types and were very respectful of my sentimental items. I hired for packing and moving services. The three of them worked great as a team and were enjoyable to be around. They encouraged me to settle in and do some crafting while they worked, and were very friendly--I really enjoyed talking with all three of them! I was impressed at how quickly and efficiently they packed, and as I'm looking through my boxes, it's so nice to see how organized and well-zoned they are. I know that must've been hard because all of my things were mixed up at the first place! Local Moving LLC are absolutely fantastic. We were able to get 3 movers in 72 hrs notice to help my wife, child and I move rather quickly across town. For young guys, they displayed an incredible amount of professionalism, work ethic and overall friendliness. What probably was scheduled as a 4-6 hour move, turned into about 14.5 hours (for a 2 BR, we have a lot of stuff.) They showed up on time and kept at it until the job was done. They never complained or seemed annoyed by the job, in fact they were encouraging and friendly, even by the end of the job. Their rates are very straightforward and fair in comparison with competition and they are worth every penny. We had them pack and move our stuff, and it still came in under budget. I moved with local moving a few weeks back and this review is long overdue. I originally scheduled my move with another company which was a huge mistake because they never showed. With no idea what to do and in full panic mode I began calling other moving companies but none were available til a few days later which wouldn't work, that's when I ended up on the phone with local moving. Jake was amazing an eased my mind saying he could have a crew out to me in the afternoon. The guys showed up around 3 and Trevor, Jason and Bill were an absolute Godsend. They clearly came from another move but that didn't stop them from getting to work and let me tell you you would swear these 3 hadn't done another move that day with the speed in which they moved. Jacob worked us in for an apartment-to-home-move at the last minute, and the young men, Denom and Mylo exceeded our expectations as movers. They were careful, thoughtful, hard-working, efficient, and good-humored. They quickly took furniture apart and put it back together; maneuvering large pieces through small openings and getting pieces in to spaces we thought impossible. Faced with an oversized desk and narrow stairs and a hard turn, I thought they should give up. They measured and remeasured and instead of saying they couldn't (we would have totally understood), they made it happen! This our son and daughter-in-law's first home; and Local Moving and Denom and Mylo made a tough day much easier. Thank you. What a great moving company! I have nothing but great things to say! Chris, Javon and Trevor moved everything from our old house, into our new house and even took stuff to our storage unit! They were super honest and careful! They wrapped everything so it wouldn't get damaged Explaining their plan along the way and checking in with me! We did have one outdoor item get damaged and they told me right away, and made a note of it, showed it to me and let me know they would make it right. I was really impressed and grateful that the first thing they unloaded off the truck in our new house was the baby play yard so my little one would be safe, out of the way and happy to not be held! They worked their butts off! And never a complaint about stairs, awkward moving angles nothing! They were really personable and down to earth! We will definitely use them again!! read more

We had a great experience with Local Moving LLC. We had a big move, and were rather overwhelmed. On the first day, we had 8 people packing: Trevor, Daniel, Charles, Andy, RJ, James, Erick and Nick. We had millions of small fragile pieces which they packed efficiently and safely in one day. Next day they showed up (always on time) with three trucks. This time the team consisted of Trevor, Charles, Andy, RJ, James, Erick, Josh, and Adam. All the young men were very courteous and helpful, and unbelievably strong! We tried our best to decide where the furniture goes, but a couple of times when we asked to move the piece from the upper floor to the basement, this was done efficiently and with no complaints. They disassembled and reassembled a large desk, which I did not think we would be able to move. And, they came under original quote! Quite amazing! read more
