This place is super unique with its abundant options for vegetables and plant-based options. I love finding places that make it so easy and inviting for vegans and vegetarians to enjoy their food along side their carnivore friends. I'm not too fond of fake meats, due to the weird ingredients that are in many of them, but I went for it. I forget the name of the dish I got, but I got something with the sweet potato noodles and a vegan protein and a bunch of vegetables. It was super tasty and very filling, but I think next time I will skip the vegan protein option. The dishes are really large, I was able to make it into two meals! We found street parking a ways up the road. It was pretty clean, with a decent amount of seating. The only weird thing was they put the forks/ spoons hidden in a corner, which was a bit awkward to get to because someone was sitting in front of it at a bar like table along the wall. Super easy fix if they just move it to a more accessible place. I will definitely try this place again next time I make my way over there. read more

Absolutely amazing food packed with an explosion of flavor. I have no idea why this place isn't rated 5 stars. Reasonable prices for portion size and quality of ingredients. Great spot for a quick lunch on a good day. Food is always good. They do not have water apparently (asked staff a few times) was told they would bring it over and they did not. The spinach went bad and was on my bowl. Other times I've been it's been a pleasant experience. read more

I have raved about Local Topia since the week it opened. I get a bowl at least once a week. There is something different that I want to try each time I go, but I can't stray away from my typical order because I love it so much. It saddens me to say that I can clearly see the way Local Topia is less taken care of now that the Licked Loon has opened. Nothing against the Wicked Loon, but I wish it was clear that the quick-service style of Local Topia is even more essential to Wolfeboro than yet another sit down restaurant and bar. Such a great job was done in the designing of Local Topia, menu AND decor, it's tough to see it close so much earlier now that it shares a kitchen with WL, many have agreed with me. Absolutely loving the mobile order option, however I've used it about 10 times now, and 7/10 times, my mobile order hasn't even been seen - by the time I've placed it, driven 10-15 minutes to the restaurant, found parking, waited another minute, and then entered. Most times, the staff is not even occupied when I get there; sometimes seated on the window sill. This is tough for me because I visit during my 30 minute lunch break, and have had to wait in line for my bowl to be made, behind the people I'd just held the door, when my order was placed 15 minutes before theirs. I barely have any time to enjoy the food even though I buy time by ordering "ahead." Also, I order the lemon sesame ginger sauce every single time I visit. It has been confused with the lemon Caesar twice now, and it's not a bad flavor but it ruins my order. I believe the noodle sauce/dressing was left out of the sweet potato noodles at the time of my last visit. My love for Local Topia remains the same, kind employees and overall there are delicious and healthy for anyone and everyone. So grateful for it. Just sharing feedback so it can get back to running at its fullest potential. read more

Yummy place to get a bowl. We went in for lunch. You order at the counter - either make your own or specialty bowls. We had two specialty bowls BBQ chicken and the veggie bowl. We also made our own bowl. I think because they are new, they had a ton of servers, all very friendly. The booths in the back have views of the water. It's a great place for a quick meal. A great addition to Wolfeboro. read more

I was hoping for a healthy lunch with some vegetables but unfortunately, the only raw veggies on offer was the brussel kale slaw base which was primarily cabbage and brussel sprout stems. Everything else was a bit overly seasoned so the vegetable flavor did not come through. They do give you a generous portion of chicken and the flavor for the chicken was good so if you are looking for more of a protein bowl then this would be a good spot. read more

The food is good and the decor interesting at this build your own bowl or wrap place. They have quite a few options including vegan. Prices are a little high in keeping with a tourist area. (Several leaf peeper buses were parked nearby.) We didn't have to wait long in line although the area was crowded with no parking in the lot behind the building. I had to back into a parallel parking spot near a busy intersection and felt lucky no one dinged my car. The bowls are biodegradable and I have no problem with going green, but unfortunately this maybe attracted other patrons who glowered at my friend for wearing a Trump hat. Cold and warm bowl selections, my associate selected cold and I went with warm. The counter staff quickly walked us through our choices. As good as any quick service Boston or NY contemporaries. Certainly recommend and plan to return during the upcoming summer season. read more
