We loved this place! I ordered the Cookie Butter Iced Latte, my husband had the Nitro Cold Brew with cold foam, and we shared a delicious breakfast sandwich. Everything was so good! They accidentally forgot the cold foam on one of the coffees, but the staff was incredibly friendly and fixed it right away with no issues. Huge line but I was surprised how fast it moved, and how quick my food was ready, so don't let that deter you. The staff was kind, and the restaurant itself has a very beachy feel, lots of indoor and outdoor seating. I got the Bernie's breakfast sandwich, which was eggs your way, avocado, bacon, and sharp cheddar cheese, on a bagel of your choice. It was cooked well and had a decent bit of avocado on there. Love love love this place. We only got smoothies, but as we were on a long trip and were craving smoothies it hit the spot. We went twice in two days. My traveling companion got the PB Mudslide, and I got the Green Room. Both were delicious and filling in the 16 oz ("small") size. The interior is aesthetically pleasing, and the outside patio is nicely size and often shaded--which is especially nice in sunny weather. Service was friendly and efficient, and bathrooms were clean. Wish we had one near us, but that could be a bad thing as we would probably go too often. read more

we we're so excited for this and unfortunately the young staff ruined it for us. right away it was clear they took their time to make presumably meticulous bowls, which is great, quality takes time. walk up customers came and went and their orders were called out when ready by first name. in the end though, many customers even after us were served and our order wasn't called. I went up and said which was ours- a customized one with peanut butter added to our bowl... and then watched them make one that looked like it and put it in the fridge. I assumed it wasn't mine so I didn't say anything since I had just described it 5 mins prior to a staff member Who had reassured me "they were working on it". Ultimately I had to get my husband to try asking and sure enough, they immediately pulled it from the fridge. We were the only group NOT called from the walk up orders. It was not a good experience. My husband and I ordered breakfast waited a half hour and the orders were incorrect. The waitress took them back to correct them and brought them back in 15 minutes once again completely wrong. By that time, my coffee was cold. She did offer to give me a free cup of coffee. We kept our mismatched orders and I scraped off the onions and peppers and put them on my husband's egg sandwich. He gave me the scrambled eggs he had on his sandwich and the bacon. He does not eat pork so was not happy that The bacon had even touched his sandwich, kind of a disaster. I wouldn't recommend this place. It was not a good experience. Ahh, the Green Room. When it first opened in Portsmouth, I was struck by the beautiful renovations that they did in the venue. Looking to get some coffee, a friend and I decided to stop in and check it out. First off, the inside is beautifully decorated with amazing lighting due to the expansive windows. There is an explosion of color that comes from a mural that adds to the Caribbean, low-key vibe that the Green Room sets to exude. If I worked in the Portsmouth area, I would definitely be working in here, as there are a variety of high top and table options. The menu at the Green Room is unique, as they provide a variety of fresh juices, smoothies, coffees, salads, bowls, etc. I have yet to try any of their food options, but what really draws me in to the Green Room is their iced coffee options. I like my coffee black and I don't like my coffee sweetened, so it's always a challenge to find unique flavor options that are not loaded with sugar. The Green Room offers a variety of iced coffee flavors (on tap, even!), and they are not sweetened! They have an abundance of options to choose from too! My standouts are definitely the brownie toffee crunch, blueberry cobbler, and the tropical coconut. They are outstanding!
