When you live in an ESHA and fire area it is important to have the best electrical company to ensure everything is done right! We even had one of Peak's electricians out to re-do a job done by another local electrician, before we got the property, that didn't look right. Good thing we did because when he opened the box behind the light switch, the back of the box was missing and the wires were unwrapped! I called because I had noticed it making a little spark when you turned the light off and it was dark you could catch the spark in an instant. It didn't feel right to so I called and Skyler sent one of his guys out immediately and they fixed it. A little thing like that can cause problems and we want things done right. Skyler stood there with me for hours installing a crystal chandelier with 1 million little crystals on it that nobody else would have kindly taken the time and patience to do and he did it! He fixed the lights in our garden where the conduit wasn't laid properly and he had to go and re lay all of that and run the wires through it because we have sprinklers and that would've been dangerous. The list just goes on and we have a long-standing relationship and experience with them to know that they can be trusted and we know how important that is around here especially. He then said no need to pay the $95 fee and said no one will do my work for his original quoted price. I called licensed electrician: Ken Electrical, Inc. and he quoted me 1/3 of the price and he came back to check everything was ok for free. In-n-out electric should of just took my money and not argued over a foot-3feet of electrical wire.

Called Ballard Electric again (on a Friday) because my garage car charger stopped working. They set…read morean appointment for today (Monday) and sent Victor and Peter out to troubleshoot. In the meantime, I had several placed to be over the weekend and ended up going to a public rapid charger to get enough power to make it to various appointments, but it was stressful as my battery was only at 40 miles. Peter and Victor discovered that the breaker switch needed to be replaced (which was what I suspected because it kept flipping to neutral rather than staying off or on). Victor said the breaker switch was a "Home Depot special" but a good one. However, they didn't have it on their truck and their usual suppliers didn't carry that model, so they needed to get it from Home Depot (HD). The HD by my house was out so they had to go to the next city over to pick one up. They were back in about an hour with the new switch and changed it out very quickly. I asked them about switching out some exterior lights, but told them that the garage car charger was the priority. Since it took so long to get the new switch (they didn't get back to the house until almost 5 p.m.), I called Kyle to set up a new date for them to come back and replace the lights on the outside of the house for me. Victor and another electrician will be back on Wednesday to replace seven exterior lights for me. Obviously, Ballard Electric is my go-to for all my electrical needs. Responsive, friendly, and reasonably priced.
