    Fried Oysters and crab dip

We dined here on a Friday evening for dinner. We were seated right away and greeted with a smile. The restaurant is has both indoor and outdoor seating. I saw someone with a dog outside so I assume they are dog friendly. Ample parking outside the restaurant and across the street the food was amazing!!! This place is a must if in the Kingsland or St.Marys area. The seafood is fresh and delicious. We were given the open to have our seafood blackened, grilled or fried.

Local seafood and friendly faces paired with a gorgeous marsh view! The scallops were perfectly seared and seasoned to perfection. If you are looking for good food and a great atmosphere, this is it!

Our server was Linzy - what a sweetheart. She made sure we had everything we needed. We started outside on the deck behind the restaurant with drinks and appetizers/ lovely evening - and even though a fan was blowing on us - the no seeums won - went inside for our meal . Hubby and I had lobster- it was a little overcooked but still good and 2 good sized tails with 2 sides. Our friends had the Dungeness crab and Triggerfish- both also very good with ample servings. We were so full we had to get dessert to go! Tuxedo bomb and Red Velvet cake. Very nice casual riverside restaurant- would highly recommend for service and food!

We loooved this restaurant ! The people that worked there were so welcoming! I wish I had gotten all of their names . But literally everyone we spoke with was so friendly I felt like I was their friend from childhood . We got two cocktails one was the toasted coconut Mai tai which was really good but the sea side mojito I think won with the fresh mint . All of our food was excellent! My ribeye was the best in my opinion. But everyone's food was so good . We got two desserts the tuxedo bomb and the lemon blue berry cake . The view was amazing! Such a wonderful night

Passing through the area on a road trip. A local suggested this place, I can see why. The restaurant is located in town along the water front. A beautiful place to watch the sunset. We sat inside as someone said it was buggy outside. The decor was coastal and casual. I had the Fried Shrimp dinner and it was outstanding & fresh tasting. The Cole Slaw was delicious, homemade & lightly dressed. My husband had the crab cakes and said they were really good. The server Paula was a doll. Sunset amazing! If you are passing through give it a try. Highly recommend

    Fresh Ahi Tuna appetizer !

Huge kudos & a big shout out to Locals for lunch today! I especially want to recognize Sydney for her kindness, calm presence, genuine care, and professionalism while serving my father and me. She truly made us feel welcome and well taken care of. Shout out to the Chef for the incredible Ahi Tuna and perfectly grilled Cobia -- absolutely delicious! And compliments to the entire lunch team for creating such a warm and memorable dining experience today. Thank you again -- we truly enjoyed every minute!

Locals Dockside: Where crab cakes and views steal the show! (Onde os bolinhos de caranguejo e a vista roubam a cena!) Pri and I rolled in hungry and left happy. We split the crab cake dinner (perfect portion, flaky and flavorful) with a baked potato and collard greens on the side. Patricia (who claims she's a "hot Latina" but apparently can't handle a little spice) thought the collards were too fiery--more for me. I thought thy were perfect. Appetizers were killer: mussels swimming in garlic oil (with a generous portion of perfectly soft dipping bread) and seared ahi that melted in our mouths. Everything was fresh, beautifully prepared, and, honestly, priced way better than it could be. (don't tell them. I loving being able to afford to go here) Service was spot-on--attentive enough to keep the drinks flowing, but chill enough to let us stare at each other and play like we do at dinner without feeling rushed. The view? Stunning. Sunset on the water, boats drifting by--pure Georgia coastal magic. If you're near Kings Bay or just passing through, do yourself a favor and stop here. The crab cakes alone are worth the detour. We'll be back... and next time Patricia might even try the spicy stuff. (She won't.) Highly recommend! A vista? Deslumbrante. Altamente recomendado! --Mick e Patricia

Great spot with good views and food. Nice selection of beers. The crab bisque was outstanding, creamy but not too creamy. Bacon wrapped scallops were also outstanding. Crab cake sandwich was plentiful. Oyster Po Boy was really good with a nice amount of oysters on buttered bread with tomato and lettuce. Roe was our server and ready for business.

We just left after a wonder lunch! Alex was our server and she was absolutely amazing! Attentive, friendly, and overall just great. Our food came out in a timely manner and was delicious! Hot and fresh! Prices are very reasonable. We are visiting from out of town and this establishment defiantly gives southern charm and hospitality. Will come back again when we visit again!

Wow! Incredible! My wife and I both had blackened scallops with baked potatoes. She had the asparagus and I had mac-n-cheese, and everything was out of this world. For dessert we split a chocolate bomb and it was tremendous. Our waittress Tara was the best! We so enjoyed walking around the landing watching the sun set, and the gorgeous gazebo and water fountain.

Thank you to the wonderful staff for helping me celebrate my husband's 40th birthday today. I had a cake made so I can give it to him and they were really nice about singing happy birthday and even got some of the restaurant in on it. I can't thank the staff enough. I hope they enjoy the delicious Publix cake I left them. Our dinner was excellent. I had the Mahi dinner special with Cole slaw and greens and he had his fried shrimp, mashed potatoes and coleslaw slaw. He accidentally got sweet potato fries but I ended up eating them lol

Good food, super casual. Scallops are our favorite at this waterfront jewel. There is always a crowd so consider reservations.

Upon arrival to the area, I already knew I wanted to come back and explore the historic sites. Pulled in to a parking spot and walked over to the restaurant. As we approached the main entrance, there were signs that said they were closed for a private party. As we started looking around for alternatives, a waitress came out and said we can be served around the corner in the bar area. Away we went to the bar area. One thing was clear, while we were looking for something to eat, we were also being eaten by local inhabitants. The gnats( no seeums) were fierce. We walked in and went to the outside deck area. After seeing the can of "Off" on the table, it wasn't long before we were chased inside due to inhabitants. Once inside, again we were able to take in the historic view while deciding on our meals. Reading the reviews, it was a clear indication that the favorites were the Cajun pasta and the shrimp and grits. We elevated our selection with the blackened Red Fish and the blackened shrimp. For starters, we ordered the fried green tomatoes and the fried okra. The texture of the fried green tomato was on point. Very light cornmeal/ corn starch batter that allowed the flavor of the tomatoes to in the spot light. The crunch and the sauce paired well without taking away from the tomato. Let's talk fried Okra. Most commonly when ordered, you expect sliced rings of okra fried up nicely and served with a complimented dipping sauce. The order here arrives and it's the whole okra pod fried up. Never have I experienced that. Now I know we are in trouble because of the abundance of food being served before the main dish is served. Plowing through the appetizers, it wasn't long before the Mains were served. They looked incredible. The first bite and the wow factor was present. We closed out our experience with a slice of Key Lime Pie.

It is a restaurant, hotel and a bar all under the sane name but different sections of the establishment. So since we were in the restaurant section, the happy hour did not apply to us, even though the menu said there was a happy hour. The server was rude and roleled her eyes when asking about why the happy hour didnt apply. Ambiance: 2/5 having 1/3 hotel 1/3 restaurant 1/3 bar is not the most appealing experience

We got in fairly close to opening, and got seated. 2 out of 3 tables were dirty that they seated us at. They stayed like that until we asked to have them wiped. We had to ask for utensils, napkins, etc after the food arrived. The server would drop off one thing for someone who asked for something that was missing and disappear faster than a blink before anyone could ask for something else that was missing. It was assumed the chicken sandwich was going to be a chicken breast or one larger sandwich sized piece since it came on a burger bun but it was multiple small strip so that was frustrating to eat they were mostly gristle so ate a cheese and lettuce sandwich with scraps of chicken. The cheese stick were your average mozzarella sticks but I was grateful for them and the grits were not bad. Only had one soft drink in the hour and half we were there, the refill never showed up after 2 attempts to request one. Wish the experience was better because it's the kind of atmosphere and location I would enjoy frequenting but this wasn't much different from my first experience here.

There's plenty of space and it's not fancy, but the kids had alot of fun and it's real laid back & casual. The lumpia was alight and the kids ate their hotdogs. Most who had the french fries liked them. I had the fried shrimp and wasn't impressed. There was thick crispy breading, but could taste alot of salt. I did not like it as much as some of the other dedicated seafood restaurants in town. The grits were just alright also. I guess my favorite was the sweet tea. The bathrooms were clean, but the soap dispensers didn't seem to work. The bartender/server was helpful and I liked the weird jukebox they had. This was our big event for the day and everyone in my family had a good time and enjoyed the visit.

We had our two grandsons me and my husband. I ordered crab legs, baked potato green beans has been ordered black and chicken fried okra, baked potato one grandson ordered hamburger and french fries and the other ordered chicken strips and french fries. We ordered hash puppies as a start. This is how our order came out, hush puppies, then shortly afterwards my crab legs, green beans, baked potato, my husband's black and chicken and a baked potato a few minutes later my grandson's chicken fingers and fries and the other grandson's hamburger. Although the touch puppies came out with all the other food instead of a starter, they were still delicious hot and very appetizing. But that's the end of the goodness. My crab legs and green beans were cold! Very very cold! When I was finally able to get the waitresses attention and tell her they were cold, she took them back to fix. What I got back boiling hot green beans and the crab legs were only just lukewarm. Since they took my plate back with my baked potato, I kind of expected a fresh baked potato, but no such luck. My husbands blackened chicken, tasted like it was cooked in the same oil as the fish and that's a problem because he doesn't like fish. Plus he never got his fried okra. .... when I reminded the waitress that he had ordered the fried okra, we found out that they had ran out of fried okra, but by this time he was done with his dinner so what's the use of getting another side that we paid for ?. My grandson with a hamburger didn't get his french fries until about five minutes after he was finished with his hamburger. We paid full price and didn't complain because we were hungry, but sadly, we were very disappointed. I really expected so much better and since we had several problems with all this, I would've thought that they would've at least given us a small discount.
