The "HAPPY HOUR " is so good you can't afford not to drink here. A home town bar form wherever you call home! This is a place that reminds me exactly of how I grew up. A friendly atmosphere with people who lived in and did the same things as many others from different parts of the country. Having an ice cold beer with friends and making new ones. I know I have made many new lifelong friends here. During the day it is mostly us more experienced in beverage appreciation. The beer is the coldest and the drinks are made by some of the best bartenders I have ever met anywhere. They have great local bands at night, starting early at 6:00PM and some tasty finger food for snacking on. And a ITunes jukebox so you can sing along to any song that creeps up from center of your soul and puts a smile on your face and a tear in your eye at the same time. Small town feel but people are nice even to folks from out of town. Drinks are pretty cheap and they have a variety of events that take place throughout the week. I went multiple days in 1 week and met a lot of cool folks. Only negative was as a man I would have preferred more woman be there, but I mean the bar can't really control that lol. read more

Locals is a laid back bar with friendly locals. I think my previous experiences were not the norm. After visiting a few more times I felt like it was time to update the review. It's still smoking allowed inside so when it's busier it can get quiet stifling inside but on a slower visit it's not that bad. The drinks are cheap and made well. New to the area & it's our 3rd time here. The latest we've come is 5-7pm during the week once & a Saturdayn a Sunday. Unsure of the true night crowd. During the day theres a good amount of folks - not dead but not full. Football game days it's a but fuller. They have the NFL Ticket so Jax fans gather. It's relatively quiet & chill place even at touchdowns. It's a clean, dim lit bar. No smoking - folks go outside & minimal bar bites. If u want to chill, play pool, throw darts or gather in small groups n drink cheap cold beer & here good music- This is Your Place. Locals check you out but not in an ugly way. Have self confidence n don't look to strangers to show you a good time. read more

I have lived here for a long time, prior to it being locals. Before COVID it was too smoky for me. Since then, during COVID, the owner put a lot of money into the place and decided to keep it no smoking inside. Zero smoke smell and much cleaner! Now do keep in mind you are in a bar in a Navy town, if you have virgin ears you may not like it. New folks and people passing through are more than welcome, have made some nice new friends here. Most like to come here, unwind with friends, shoot the breeze, listen to music, play darts and pool. Over 20 TVs and all NFL games are available. Staff is awesome, however not politicly correct, very honest and hard working folks. They don't have a kitchen but do have a nice variety of munchies you may purchase. I do not come in late so cannot comment on the bands. read more

This placed is named correctly because it is where the Locals go. Full bar and allows smoking inside. They have a Great happy hour and some kind of entertainment each night. Usally have a different shot special each month. No food here but plenty of places will deliver. read more

Great local dive bar in Orange Park.. friendly bartenders and they always have drink specials. Music is always good there and up to date. Few pool tables in the back. Great spot to just relax and have a good time with some friends. Some of the big girls in there can be aggressive with you and try to have you take them home, just stay away from them! This is the worst bar I have ever been to. We paid our bill, my boyfriend went to the bathroom, came back to the table and all of a sudden, the bouncer was told to kick us out. Excuse me?!? They claimed that my boyfriend threw a glass in the bathroom (which most certainly DID NOT happen). Some guy had left a glass in the bathroom on top of their dispenser. What took place after the fact was akin to a terrible reality TV show. These people have seriously lost the concept of respect for customers or anyone else for that matter. They called the police, who sympathized with us and also thought the whole situation was quite ridiculous. At the end of it all, I would never come to this place ever again. I go to a different state every day, and I have never been more disrespected in my entire life. read more

Best bar in town. Coupled with the best bartenders, management, and miscellaneous staff this establishment kicks ass. Highly recommend. 2.75 Fireballs $3 Shot of the month and the cheapest pitchers in town (like 6 bucks or so?) Makes this pub friendly on the wallet as well. read more

Big glass of beer only 2.25 and pitchers for only around $6. Excellent music choice and friendly bartenders that wait on you fast! However on busy nights you only get to sing once or twice if you don't mind waiting 2 hours! I went there last week and came in just before starting time for karaoke! Around the last Wednesday night in January! The DJ lady told me I will be number 13 to sing and after my song, she said I will be the 27th to sing! I finished my beer and got the hell outta there! Fun place...went on a Sunday after a wedding. Great atmosphere, good drinks and the DJ made it fun to dance and let loose. Love that it is a smoking bar...this is my type of place...a dive bar with fun people and a stiff pour. No muss, no fuss. read more

My boyfriend and I only been in FLORIDA for about a month now and this bar is only 5 mins from where we live. The bartenders won't even talk to us while we are there. I don't understand is this not how they make their money by welcoming people in to there place. And we tip every drink. read more

The bartenders are amazing! Bring your singing pipes on weds and sats.. Heather is the best karaoke dj! The crowd is very diverse and so much fun. Ladies night weds and thurs nights $1 drinks!
