This is one of our favorite little gems in Mandarin! Gail took over the business and is the absolute sweetest - she has done a lot and you can see a big difference in the atmosphere. There are 32 beers on tap, plus another beer cooler and your basic domestic options. This included NA and gluten free beers, ciders, and all types of sours and varieties. They've added some good food options (you have to try the burger) and really delicious hot pretzels. Saturdays and Sundays have a beer share event and you can bring food and snacks to share with everyone - it's a ton of fun and great to get to know people. There are networking events and also dart clubs/teams that come to the Cavern as well. Like I said, a true gem!

We wanted to support a local business So Tonight we grabbed some burgers, pierogies & beers. Meet the owner very nice and his staff as well. We found out this is their 3rd year is business! The pierogies so good.Burgers very good & the pretzel yum. ( we didn't care for the zucchini, fries or fries )All good comes out on paper plates- total bar food concept. They have lots of beers to choose from and they rotate the different flavors of beers. Make sure to read the bar menu over that taps. Inside clean doesn't smell like cigarette smell, lots of parking ,pool table, darts, cards & board games. Stop in have a beer & a homemade pierogi, and burger Support local!

We made it to The Cavern this week. The burger did not disappoint!!! It was delicious, fresh and flavorful!! The fries were on point!! and The brussel sprouts were a lovely side dish. My husband is a beer drinker but I am not. I do enjoy mead and cider. It's hard to find mead on tap locally so I was jazzed. The bartender was a sweetie pie and the establishment had some great Halloween decor. We will be back!

We stopped in from out of town for a beer and brunch. What a great place! The service was beyond amazing. And the food was like a home cooked meal. Loved the beer selection! Definitely a must visit! Aarron is a great owner/bartender! Dawn and Tom

It's A MUST to stop in at The Cavern on San Jose blvd, tucked in the corner of the shopping center near Outback. My wife and I like to finish off our date nights escaping the kiddos at The Cavern; trying new brews, chit chatting with familiar faces, and visiting with our favorite bartender, Gail! Tried out the new pool table too, it's a nice addition.

They have updated the inside since I was there last. It was birght, clean, and had a lot of games and 2 dart boards. The owner was super nice and helpful. She helpede choose 2 ciders and both were really good. Do I remember the names? No...but they were delicious. My husband enjoyed a $1 something beer! If your in the area stop in for a drink!

BEST burgers in Jax!! Aaron is so fun and awesome! Went the extra mile to tend to every person in the bar! A local family owned bar that recently started serving food...all hand made and locally sorced!! Expect a bit of a wait to get your food, but it is WORTH THE WAIT!! SO SO GOOD!!

I am thoroughly impressed. The place has been upgraded since I visited last. Two bar areas, some tables and a sitting area to relax. Board games, a couple dart boards and TouchTunes to have some fun. But my favorite was the food and drinks. My tasty spike smoothie was made with the fruit available, blueberry and banana. I can't say enough how much I enjoyed this Spiked smoothie. I chose to have mine spiked with a Fruit Punch Beatbox and it was amazing. Heathy enough drink and a bit of a buzz to boot. So good. Also ordered the grilled cheese on ciabatta bread with tomato and bacon. I loved the flavor. Then to top off my night had a Raspberry Cider. This may be a small Pub, but has enough to rave loudly about and come back time and again. I really recommend trying The Cavern, so many tap beers and canned libations to choose from, even non-alcoholic. I'll probably go for the heathy buzz again next time and sip a smoothie that can be mixed with whatever spirit sold here. Service is amazing and totally accommodating to your reasonable wishes. Can't go wrong swinging by this laid back Pub.

Inside is a little tight, but it is an old building with naked bricks, historic decor, a good sized bar and tables inside. Outside is a deck with covered tables, another area for corn hole and a food truck which has all the major bar food groups including churros. Sean was my beertender and he really was the best. They have a policy of holding your card for tabs which I really hate, but he made me feel comfortable about leaving my life in his hands. When I first walked in on a weekday during happy hour, it was pretty light, but around 4:30p the place started filling up. Happy hour is Monday - Friday until 6pm and they have 18 taps which qualify for happy hour. Plus they had 3 guest taps, both ciders. Ruby Beach has a mug club, it is about $80 for the year. You get a free beer on Tuesday as well as your own numbered mug. It is limited. So exclusive in fact that they do a raffle every August. The BEER: Crown Jewel Belgian Tripel 11.4% ABV... easy drinking, not boozy and quite delicious, this one will sneak up on you Return of the Mac Daddy Pale Ale 5.5% ABV... the description is "rye pale ale hopped with Amarillo. On the first sip I thought one note, but boy was I wrong. As it warms it has layers. And in my opinion the layers are all good, like a good lasagna. Over the Ditch 15.0 NEIPA 6% ABV... if I was in front of a firing and they gave me a last request, I might choose this beer. Sweet grapefruit and stars... love this! Grit & Glow Lager 5.2% ABV... if you have ever smelled fabuloso that is what I first smelled when I put the beer to my lips, the beer itself is just as perfumey, not for me... but if you like those type of flavors in beer, you might like this one Rosemary In the Rye Pale Ale 5.5% ABV... all day crushable pale ale, with a slight hint of rosemary, basically the Mac Daddy plus rosemary O'Ruby's Irish Stout 5.5% ABV... smooth coffee with hints of toffee, so ver crushable, but it is way better warm Didn't get to try the food on this visit, but on a side note... the bathrooms are both unisex and CLEAN. Ruby Beach has great beer, great service and personality, everything I want in a brewery. Come visit and see for yourself.

I was thinking the outside looks like they made it with Lego, but Lego from an artisan. From what I understand, it was the ice packing plant for the city, converted into a tile shop, converted into a brewery. Really love the end product. I especially love that they have Belgians on tap in Florida, where Belgians are few and far between. The Belgians here, including the hefeweizen were made with love. Before I forget, shouts out to Jeff for answering all my eclectic questions, and being a genuinely all around professional. Love your energy bro, low key and inviting, an authentically good person. The BEER: Weizen Wolf hefeweizen 6% ABV... this is the hefe I remember from Germany, banana and clove goodness BPA Belgian Pale Ale 5.5% ABV... like a party in my mouth, perfectly balanced and so very crushable Hostile Wit-Ness Belgian Wit 4 5% ABV... not what I expected, it has floral notes, is light like jasmine tea with a kiss instead of a bite at the end. And once it gets warmer it opens into something wonderful. St Anthony's Fire Rye Barleywine 10.8% ABV... slightly boozy, a semi sweet, with a delicious finish. This one is one and done. A full pour of this will send you home in an Uber. Southbank Hazy IPA 6.5% ABV... not a basic hazy, some citrus and when it warms up it is so very wonderful I didn't spend much time at Aardworf Brewing Company, but the time I spent was fantastic. My friend ordered us the Pork Belly Kimchi Fries, I got us an order of the Cheese Curds, and for my entree I got an order of the Asian Sticky Wings. I probably would have never ordered the kimchi fries on my own. Sometimes kimchi can be fickle and really hit or miss. It was definitely a hit here. More on the sweet and tangy side but worked really well. Fries seasoned perfectly, and the pork belly cubed and cooked to perfection. Out of all of the times I've been to Wicked Barley, these fries have to be one of the best items I've had from there. Cheese curds were pretty basic. Tasted great, but nothing to write home about. If you like Cheese curds, you'll enjoy theirs. I originally had my eye on the jerk chicken wings and I was warned by the waitress and my friend that they are REALLY hot. Jerk chicken is generally one of those thats right on the borderline of too hot for me. To give you an idea, if you're familiar with Butthutt BBQ's jerk chicken, theirs is as far as I can go for spice level. So I switched it up to be safe, and I am glad I did. Sweet and sticky, these had really great flavor inside and out. Would definitely get these again in the future. Brought a couple home to the hubby and he seemed to enjoy them too, and he normally doesn't like, what he refers to as, "sweet meat". I had three different beers in my favorite tasting style, sour. I had the PB&J sour, the mango sour, and the orange cream sour. The orange cream was my favorite of the 3. We enjoyed the sounds of the band Splittone in the background and enjoyed the whole vibe of our meal. I'm hoping to visit again on a future weekend and possibly bringing one of my pups along with me since they are dog friendly.
