I'm a glam country girl and will forever be. Flowers, plants, fruit, vegetables, farm fresh meats, dairy, bakery items, etc, etc, etc. High quality, always fresh. Store is always clean. They just did an expansion of the store making more space for product placement & customers to roam. I love the open market feel. Staff...always friendly professional. I could have a bad day and coming here instantly cheers me up. Prices... health costs money but copays cost more. You choose. Parking... decent. The turnover is quick and I've never had to wait to park. People are usually in & out. Issues... the only herbs they sell is cilantro. I'm ok with that (mostly). But I really wish they had mint & basil. They are closed during winter. Makes sense but... Those are the longest 4 months for me.

A typical week includes two types of fruit, some sort of leafy green (salad greens in spring, kale and such later on), some sort of potatoes, an additional veggie (like peppers, onions, and/or eggplant), a loaf of bread and a dozen eggs. My girlfriend and I take one share, designed for a family of four, and we eat well all summer and fall and are able to save a significant amount for winter. They're usually open every Saturday with extra foods and meats for sale. Lastly, even though this is a family operation, they are always quick to credit their "workshares" - members who work picking and/or packing produce in exchange for reduced rates on their CSA. Initially I was honestly creeped out by the old timey supermarket music, dim lighting, and the display outside, but we did find some great stuff. They have locally grown produce and fresh locally sourced meat, (including other local farms for chicken, eggs, and dairy) which so far have all been GREAT! We've purchased a beef quarter (see Wagner's Review) and the meat is just fantastic, though availability can be spotty for prime cuts in the "store". All of their seasonal produce that I've purchased (corn, onions, garlic, peaches, melons, cucumbers, tomatoes) have all been delicious. They aren't always the most organized on meat and the prices are a little higher on everything but you're actually getting local farm produce. (I've noticed a lot of places supplement with commercial foods for convenience and that seems duplicitous when they don't identify which is which!) Everything from here has been good, zero disappointment's.
