This was one element that was done better here than the other room I've done elsewhere. The room was $25 per person, which I prefer to having a flat fee for the entire room, and you are always in a private room with just your group (whereas some places will fill the whole room with additional people). The value for the cost is well worth it, due to some elements of the room. I can't go into much more detail than that so I don't give anything away! Your guide is not in the room with you, which was also a difference from the other escape room I've done. It was fun to have the clues on the screen. You get unlimited clues, and all were very helpful. We had a group of six people and we were just getting the door open as time ran out. It was exhilarating, challenging but not frustratingly so, and really well done. I will definitely go back to do the other room and they were working on a third room as well.

We had 4 doctors, a nurse and a teacher in our group, so we thought we would surely get through with no help with that much education in one room. 6 hints later and 50 secs to spare, we made it. We laughed a ton and thought the hour went by extremely fast. Two things that are nice about this place are that you don't share the room with other parties and the game master isn't in the room with you! Can't wait to go back and try the other room.

We make a trek to Michigan every year for the 4th of July and this is always on the list. The kids love it and it's always a good time. They run specials throughout the summer for things like "all day play" that make it a bit easier on the wallet. They're always well staffed and the place is HUGE. The bathrooms were nasty, I felt like a needed a shower after being in them and the stall doors didn't even lock. I even had one literally tell my wife, that's not my job. Also, I called a couple days before to ask a question, answering machine said they were busy with customers and would call back.... It's not bright lights, neon colors, or obnoxious vendors in your face. It's simple, humble, incredibly clean, and well kept especially since it's been there since the 50s. It's small enough to enjoy for a few hrs but doesn't take all day. It's definitely made more for kids 10 and under id say. My kids are 3 and 6 and loved it. They were tall enough to ride most of the rides and enjoyed the petting zoo. I felt $19 per person was a decent price and parking was just fine. The demonstrations are well attended.
