We had a great time at Grand Rapids Escape Room. We got together with a group of friends to solve the Licastro's Lair room, which is vampire themed. Our experience was entertaining, challenging, and sometimes frightening (be on the lookout for jump scares). We had a group of five people, and it felt like everyone had something to do. While we did successfully escape, we only had five minutes remaining and we used all our clues. We'll definitely be going back to try the other rooms, we had a TON of fun! read more

Holly was our guide for the night and she was AWESOME!! We tried "The Cure" as the first escape room either of us had been to in a long time and finished with 1:15 left on the clock. We had so much fun and cannot wait to go back to try the other rooms that they have! read more

The Grand Rapids Escape Room was a fun experience! Three friends and I went on a Saturday evening and booked a private room (it's $25 per person or $30 per person if you want your own room). Ezzy was our guide (she was awesome!) and we had 60 minutes of fun! We booked the Judgement room with a little less than 50% completion rate. Without spoiling it, we ended up completing the room with five minutes to spare and only one of three hints left to use. It was a blast! read more

Hated this, the cast member was super nice! But this place in general was not good at all. It was a wooden room with absolute silence and it was just so low quality and didn't feel nice at all. The whole time I was thinking wow I should have done better research and booked the other place. This place was so bad, why do themes if it's half ass decor and quality. I was not feeling it and just wanted to walk out, but too bad I already paid such a high amount for this. Super wack! read more

Our group of 7 chose their Hacker room, which our guide warned us was the most difficult room they have. She kindly offered to let us switch rooms if we desired..... but...despite being comprised of mostly first-timers, we dove with our egos head-first into the room anyways. Overall our group had a lot of fun, a little bit of chaos, and plenty of laughing and head-scratching. I won't give anything away, but there were several surprises and we found the challenges to be difficult but enjoyable. (In case you're curious...We didn't escape lol) The only reason I'd dock a star is because the room wasn't much to look at, they had a few technical difficulties, and the floors were sticky from recently pulled flooring. I'd definitely give a different room a shot! We had fun and talked about what we could have done differently for quite a while afterwards. I recommend this for all ages! The escape room was fun and difficult, however the staff was horrible. They put the wrong lock on one of our clues and after we found the answer and tried multiple times for 10 minutes, they finally listened to us and came into the room and used bolt cutters to get the lock off. we didn't receive any time back. We managed to escape in time, however the employee that greeted us at the door rolled his eyes as we came out and refused to speak to us unless we directly spoke to him multiple times. the room difficulty was fun and great to do with a group, unfortunately the staff ruined the experience. read more

It was my 1st time going to an escape room. This was really fun. The guy there was really nice too. We chose the prison escape. It was the 2nd easiest but we still needed some clues to get it and we were able to escape before time. It was great fun! read more

So much fun!!! This is the perfect place to take a group for fun or some team bonding for sports teams! My kids loved it.

The Grand Rapids Escape Room is so challenging and fun! It is a great team bonding exercise. I have gone through the cure and judgement rooms and both have their own twists. We brought our Vex Robotics team as a team building exercise. Simon was very helpful and made a great room recommendation for us. The instructions and clues were clear and we were able to escape! We plan to book a different room at the end of our Vex season because the kids had so much fun they want to do another one! read more
