I've ordered guns from several places, Never had a gun shipped as fast as some of these folks leaving reviews expect. Bought 31 guns this year and half of them were ordered from one place or another. Usually takes 2-3 weeks to get one in no matter who it is. Locked and loaded is no different. I purchased a pair of Ruger Single action revolvers and a Bond Arms derringer from the website, had them process another stores purchase as an FFL, purchased from their showroom floor and even had gunsmith services from them. Never had a problem with these guys. After reading a few more review on here, I want throw in a few cents. One review stated a complaint about the online price being different than the in store price. When you look at the price difference, it was the $25 they paid to have the gun shipped to their store. He went on to complain that they adjusted the price lower after talking to the manager but was still $5 higher. They sold it to him at cost. The markup is very small, that's why their prices are so good. That guy needs to go back and revisit his review. That was childish. I don't know these guys outside of buying guns but I called them one day 5 min before they closed (before I was a customer) because a gun I bought from someone else jammed a live round in the chamber bad enough I couldn't get it out. They waited around in the parking lot for 30 min after close, so I could drive there from 3 towns over, so their gunsmith could help me out. These guys will bend over backwards to help but they are a small town brick and mortar shop and they can't afford to take the financial hit by people canceling orders after they have placed an order with a distributor. They have mentioned that they aren't Amazon or Walmart but even those people have cancelled orders on me without a notification. It happens. read more

Not my first time ordering a gun online. I always read reviews prior to making a decision and spending money. I was searching for two winchester SX4 shotguns, one of which has been on back order since it was released earlier this year. After reading through the reviews I had reservations to say the least coupled with the fact that somehow this company had access to almost 30 of the same gun that I was not finding hardly anywhere. I made two phone calls to confirm manufacture SKU #'s and make sure we were talking about the same gun. I decided to place the order, I did call right after the order was placed online to confirm again that my internet purchase was the correct SKU #. Email received shortly later confirming the order, with please allow 3-10 business days to complete. I was already aware of the time frame. Next day received FFL update request which I had already completed, called to make sure and it was already in the system, just auto email. 4 days later received shipping confirmation with tracking number. It took 7 days from online purchase to receiving in hand two perfect condition brand new shotguns, one of which was really hard to find. To top it off Lockedloaded was $150.00 cheaper then the lowest price online which of course was on back order with no date for supply. A little on the slow side yes, but I must say overall a very good experience and I will be a returning customer. read more

A ton of negative reviews. My rating is really 4-2/3 stars, only because something they list as 'in stock' should ship out in 1-2 days. BUT, I called 5 gun shops in my area, and they were $259 to $300 (except 1 that was ~ $240). Doing the National Search, Locked Loaded was ~$10 lower than the next dealer on there....$191. And the $15 s/h also resulted in them being the best value. A system glitch wouldn't allow me to place my order (their end? my end? somewhere in the middle?) led me to call them to place my order (wanted to make sure I didn't get 2 shipped out). I called and explained it to Blair....she was very nice, and placed my order (on a Friday, noon). I didn't get any email updates, so the next Friday I called...Debbie was also very nice and polite, and said it sometimes takes a little time to get them out the door...they're a very small company, but that I should be getting my Tracking # shortly (and I did an hour later). Monday afternoon it was at my FFL. I picked it up, and all was fine. Okay, I only ordered 1 item...others with multiple items seemed to have more difficulties, I can see that. But the Bottom Line is that it was 10 days from order to receipt....the folks are friendly....and I had a great experience. I placed my order for a S&W M&P Shield 40 cal. with Crimson Trace ( Green ) Laser on 11/23/19 because of the awesome price. I was not that familiar with this gun shop so I did some checking, after I placed my order and about sh** myself when I saw some of the reviews. Now when reading reviews your mind does one thing and that is target the negative ones. That's what mine did. By Wednesday the 27th no news yet it's the day before Thanksgiving so I figured I would wait until the day after Thanksgiving ( which is Black Friday ) to send them a message. So I did and to my surprise within an hour I received a response saying all was ok and my items were being processed. I also sent another e-mail on Dec. 4th with a concern that my gun shows as being out of stock on there Web site. Again a prompted response saying that all is ok. Dec. 6th I received my tracking info and picked my 40 up at my FFL here in MI. on the 10th. I agree with Ed S. Be patient, be respectful with your communications. I ordered five RWB 7.62x39 magazines from lockedandloaded.com online. They arrived quickly enough but they get stuck in the AR-15 lower they're supposed to fit and nothing including yanking on them will get them out. You're supposed to drop a magazine by just pushing the release button but these get jammed in there, every single one. And it's a chore to get them back out which does you no good whatsoever if you're under fire correct? These things are crap. So I called and emailed and was told point blank they have no returns whatsoever! They don't even rip you off for a restocking fee on something you never used or took out of the package like other companies. I said where is it say that on your website and the guy could not really tell me he just went silent. So now I'm stuck with these garbage magazines. Ordered a handgun and a few boxes of ammo at the best price on the net. Read the shit out of their policies, because that's what smart people do. Their shipping details say 3-10+ day shipping, which I thought was ridiculous. What is 10+ days? That concern plus reading reviews scared me, so I pestered them with emails, two different times, and got replies in less than 24 hours both times. My order arrived at my local FFL dealer in 7 business days. I've got to agree that negative reviews are likely from people who didn't read and understand that part of the cost of paying less seems to be waiting longer. I've had a 100% positive experience, that I'm willing to repeat, so long as I also happen to be willing to wait on the goods. Otherwise I'll pay more somewhere else. This was my first online transaction with Locked and Loaded and I was beyond pleased. I placed my order on June 5th and just picked my gun up from my FFL and it is June 13th. My transaction was smooth sailing, I did contact customer service to ask a question and they were very polite and answered my question. Right now everything is kinda crazy in the world we live in but Locked and Loaded came through for me. I do see a lot of negative reviews for them, and that is why I'm bringing some positivity to light. I don't generally leave reviews unless it was a bad transaction or bad service, this is one of the few exceptions I have chosen to make. I ordered a very hard-to-find shotgun. Best price anywhere - by about $200. I'm used to things like this shipping right away, so I start getting antsy by about day 3. Frankly, I was concerned that they didn't really have it in stock since it's so hard to find. On day 4 I called and a very nice lady confirmed that it's in stock and they have everything they need to ship. I called again on day 8 because the "processing date" had been changed and she politely told me that was a good thing and my gun is going to the shipping dept. Next day their site showed me a FedEx tracking number. I ordered on Sunday, received the gun on day 12 (counting weekends and the Monday holiday). Placed my order on 9/19 received it on the 9/28. Best price I could find for the rifle I wanted and the extra magazines. After reading all the bad reviews after I placed my order I called customer service twice to confirm my order. Both times the lady was helpful and professional. Locked & Loaded seems to be a small company that is new to the Internet gun sales industry. My recommendation to people is to make sure you want what you order, get it right the first time, give them a call after you place your order to make sure everything is in order and give them the time to fill your order. I was looking all over for a Sig M18 pistol but couldn't find one locally or from any of the online stores I searched. I posted on reddit and someone suggested lockedloaded.com. I checked there and saw that the price was great so I purchased it. This was my first online firearm purchase and everything went well. I had some questions about the FFL so I gave them a call and they told me the FFL holder I was shipping to needed to email a copy of their license. The FFL holder sent the email after I called them on Thursday and my pistol shipped that same day and arrived on Monday. Will use these guys again if I decide to purchase another firearm online. Ordered a product from L&L. They then proceeded to ship it via UPS to the PO Box that I had given them. I did not know they were using UPS or I would have given them a less desirable physical address to have it shipped to. Obviously, It was returned to their warehouse and they then sold the product to someone else. They never reimbursed or contacted me. Multiple phone calls requesting to speak to a manager were never returned. I was told AFTER A MONTH that they had "mistakenly" sold it to another customer and could put me on a wait list for another one. I was a bit leery to do business with lockedloaded.com, after reading the reviews, but the price on the scope and barrel I wanted, were hard to pass up. And it all worked out perfectly. No hassle whatsoever. They even got it to me ahead of there lead time listed on the home page. I'm not gonna lie, I'm still a bit leery, after seeing some recent reviews since I last looked. This was my first online purchase and surprisingly it went smooth. Took about a week from the day I ordered to delivered and every time I sent an email I always got a response. Most of these bad ratings is from people who didn't get their ffl dealer to send a copy of their license. It's something you might have to do in person, or I would. I won a bid on the new Ruger 57 on Gun Exchange.com. The Pistol ended up being from Locked & Loaded, $10 under list price. Won the bid on Wednesday evening, received a call from them on Thursday to make purchase. CC charge was 3% which I agreed to (they do take money orders if you prefer) I didn't. Gun shipped Thursday evening and showed up Saturday at my dealer as promised. Five starts for me! JPC Shipping fees, cc fee and my broker fee total were they same as Indiana sales tax. Ordered some optics. Online prices in internet - 350. Ordered from them for 250. Order placed on Monday evening, shipped on Monday evening a week later. Arrived on Thursday. Read a lot of negative reviews, still went with them and am pretty happy. If you need your stuff now, probably not the place for you. The gun I ordered from another vendor same day during this "Current Panic" was in my possession on the 8th day after.
