After a long day we came home and found we had locked the door and forgot our house keys. I called this place and they quoted me $19 service charge plus $35 depending on what work needed to be done. The service tech shows up and says "It's going to be $149". This was just to get in through my garage door. He broke out a couple of air bags and tried to pry the door open. After 10 - 15 minutes he tried to pick the lock with no luck. Then he goes back to trying out the air bags again. Then he tries picking the lock again. Each time he tried to pick the lock it sounded like he was trying to file down the tumbler inside. Then he says "I need to drill the lock" to a tune of $149 or $250 if I want to replace the lock. At this point my family is becoming uncomfortable waiting in the car. So I tell him he can drill the lock. It's been about 45 minutes since he got here and the door is still not open. My son asks "how much longer is it going to take". It's taken him an hour and 45 minutes to trouble shoot, drill, and break my door in the process of getting it open. Now I need a new door. He tells me that it can be fixed and drops his previous quote of $250 down to $80 and proceeds apologize for the damage and takes off without giving me a receipt. I would break my own windows before calling this place. I'm not happy and will be filing a claim or a lawsuit to get my door fixed. read more

These guys have been around since before I was born. Ron has answers to even the most obscure locksmithing questions, and he's always available to answer questions personally. These guys offer better pricing than other locksmiths. A new mailbox lock with keys is $65. New car keys range from $35 for a simple ignition key to $220 for fancy push-to-start fobs. Most simple keys can be duplicated for $1-3 each. They'll come out to you to unlock your car or house. The technicians are gruff but friendly, and they know what they're doing. The location is convenient enough. Sundowners (cheap and awesome food) is right down the street in case you need to leave your car while your keys get programmed. I built a patio at Ron´s house and then he did some keys for me 3 different times that were great he even had a key I needed from a 1920s door then I moved to Ohio for 2 years I came back need a master key for my suburu and went by his house to see what he would charge his son was out front I ask to speak to Ron his son told me he would call Ron and let him know I was there he went and called and he came back to me threatening me he's gonna knock me out they have some crazy idea that I said I was going to kill him and his family I'm sorry Ron but You've mistaken me for someone else your just a locksmith and I'm just a capenter never in my life threatened anyone with that. you got your wires crossed or your wife does read more

Do not go or call them you will regret it if you do they came out to my house to make a spare key they couldn't make one they left my truck with holes they drilled into the key ignition they said they will fix it the next day they never they never showed up never call me I called them they said they couldn't help me. Update: since writing this review, I have received several threatening phone calls from THE OWNERS WIFE. The owner is welcome to make them stop and take the retaliation yelp review of my place of employment down OR I will post all of my documentation along with file criminal charges of harrassment!!! Horrible customer service. Were 1.5 hours late with NO CALL! When I called the owner he was so disrespectful and hung up on me. If the owner is RUDE AND HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE... Ron is my only absolute go-to guy for locks & keys! He has re-keyed two houses for me as well as making 20-30 keys for my gate in a timely manner and reasonable price!!! I run an Auto Transport Company and every once in a while a driver will lose a smart key & or a regular key. Ron has always sent me a qualified member of his staff who always arrives ready to go to work. I was so grateful to have found this shop to get a transponder key for our 2013 Rav4. My son had lost one key leaving us with just one key for the vehicle. The dealer quoted us $186 for the key and an additional $130 to program it which I thought was outrageous. For MUCH less we were able to get a Toyota transponder key and they gave us a discount on an additional valet key. So this little gem of a place is tucked away on Sierra Ave in Fontana. I've driven past it a million times and never even noticed it was there. I called another locksmith to make a duplicate key for my Mercedes C230 and they referred me to them. I got a brand new remote key, they call it a FOB for $300.00. The place is very busy and you may have to wait a while but it was definitely worth it. Thank God for honest people. I lost my keys Christmas Shopping and called for a locksmith and was getting crazy quotes from all of them. I finally called a local locksmith and he sent a guy out to me and made me a transponder key for $135.00. The other people were quoting me like as much as $400.00!!! The key to my car completely broke I called Ford dealer they were charging $150 to 165 just for key and remote did not include programming, I found lockworx in Fontana spoke with Ron he told me he could help me and fix my key he is a life saver and saved me $200 , he fixed my key in less than 15 mins remote and key are functioning properly with no issues highly recommend this place for locksmith issues.
