I recently had an unfortunate incident with my father in law passing away and the keys to his vehicle were never found. I searched around for a credible lock smith that could come last minute notice and produce a key for me. I stumbled upon this business and had this gentleman working on it within the hour. I was thinking for sure I was gonna pay the piper on this one but I had no choice. To my surprise he actually gave me a really fair price and made an extra key for me. I believe he billed me at $120. I have been coming here for years just to make copies. Today I came in to see if they could repair the lock on my gas door for my truck. I was expecting to have to buy a new set, a very expensive set. The owner helped me right up. Saved me over 100 bucks just by making a new key based off of the really worn out original. Had to sit down and really think if i wanted to write this review or not. But after careful consideration im obligated to. The driver was drunk driving a vehicle, he asked for me to come out side so he can find the address easier there is a divder so you have to drive to the light and make a u-turn. Well on the phone he comments "so happy to see, my dick got hard i thought i was lost" drives down to make the u-turn and goes to the wrong address again on my sode of the street walk down the street partially to find him to direct him to the right house. Gets to my house finally smelling like boozes, the more this guy sweats the more you can smell it. Hes slurring his words super load then for topics of smakl decides he wants to talk to me about picking cotton, the KKK Ku klux klan was and had a heavy presence in Fontana, hells angels were created here, and his family owned slaves. So being a nice guy enterrain it for awhile. 45 mins pass while hes talk to me about all of this and this LOCKSMITH couldnt bot unlock the car. Repeat he could not unlock the car. Told my girlfriend to run in the house and grab some string so i can make a slip knot to lasso the latch and unlock the car. Took me 30 seconds with his door jam pump. He takes the credit and wants to charge me $50 dollars anyways. Ok fine ill pay, give him $100 doesnt have change then i offer my debit. The guy doesnt have a card reader or paperwork to take down my card info. Grabs the $100 back starts to say you can trust me give your money and you drive down to the office to pick up your change. Then he says just call the office and pay over the phone. Ill call them right away go in the house the guy perry ask to use my bathroom. Yes definitely, then the guy pisses his pants on the way to my house, then doesnt make it to ny bathroom begins to relieve the rest of him self infront of my living room window with his dick exposed to my girlfriend and kids. Peeing on my front lawn in the open publicly. Rush to close the blinds as my entire family witness this slob. I have to use the bathroom my self. Then as im in the bathroom threatens my girlfriend for not paying, a states "&" im a locksmith if you dont pay ill break into your cars and house and steal whatever i want from you. I come out the guy leaves the door and boxes in the car demanding payment. Begging me not to call his boss just pay me. At this point overlynypset and angry ready to beat this guy up, but instead had to end up calling the police and filing a police report against the business & their star employee. I ended up not having to pay after calling his boss as his boss can hear him arguing and fighting with me about the payment over the phone. I asked for a quote to rekey some new locks today. Responded quickly and was true to his word on the price. It was the cheapest I found!! And I looked as far as upland. My Dad went in there today, had 3 deadbolts and a door knob that needed to be done. Called to have a tail gate re-keyed. They were quick and completed the project in under 15 minutes. They were pretty busy when we got there and they made it a point to acknowledge us while we waited to be served. After the job was completed the team gave me some pointers into how to secure the tail gate as well to make sure that I don't just rely on the lock alone. I was so grateful to have found this shop to get a transponder key for our 2013 Rav4. My son had lost one key leaving us with just one key for the vehicle. The dealer quoted us $186 for the key and an additional $130 to program it which I thought was outrageous. For MUCH less we were able to get a Toyota transponder key and they gave us a discount on an additional valet key. I've been to this shop 3 times since I'd moved to Fontana back in 2006. I know some other may have bad experience and wrote negative reviews and they should because it's good because they are giving feedback. In my experience here, I have no complaints. Took my 2014 FJ Cruiser keyfob that I bought from EBay to get it programmed because my tech couldn't do it. The owner informed me after a few minutes that the key had a wrong chip in it and he'll put the proper one in. He gave me a quote before I went in, with the different chip in he didn't charge extra. Right before he serviced my key I'd witnessed him fix a keyfob for a lady that was in front of me. Told her the pins wasn't connecting to the circuit board and he took care of it at no charge!!! I don't expect to get a free service but what I'd witness was an honest man doing honest work and he could have ripped her off but he didn't. Read past reviews, other also mentioned the same thing. So if you need your key done, give this place a shot. Try it for yourself. Only thing I didn't like was the language that his workers used when they were talking to each other, that's because I had two kids with me. But hey it's their shop, I could have waited outside with the kids if I wasn't too comfortable. Other than that, service was quick and price is fair, definitely go back again if I need service. read more

I lost my extra key to my new Ford 150. I went to my local locksmith and they recommended Lockworx because his business did not have the computer needed to program the key. So Off I went to Lockworx in Fontana. As I waited it seems this business has been here a bit and have customers who seem to come here often. They took care of me with no problems. If u need professional help with locks or keys, these guys seem to know it all. I was there for a good amount of time to watch the comings and goings. It was all good. Thx Lockworx. I told her the brand and she replied very rudely, and said, why don't you have someone else do it and hung up the phone.
