The lodge is a wonderful venue to hold events. This property is ideal for weddings, parties and community events. If you decorated with fancy chairs, you could have a wonderful wedding. If you wanted an informal family reunion or block party, the location is great. There is a giant fireplace inside the main building and a fire pit outside. If I were having an event at the lodge, I would make sure that there wasn't any roadwork going on that could cause a delay for guests. read more

I went to a yelp event here and as I talked to my fellow helpers, I found out that a lot of people have weddings here. After seeing the grounds, I can see why! The lodge/cabin is cozy and adorable. There is a fireplace in the center of the main room. The outside deck was spruced up with white Christmas lights and it looked really nice. The deck is a perfect place for pictures and over looks a field. The backyard perfectly fits a white tent with plenty of room for people to move about the grounds. Parking is limited in front of the lodge and there is construction currently on the road in front which turns to road to a one lane road. I would love to come to more events here, rustic chic! read more

My brother and sister in law got married on a perfect July evening and this wedding venue was one of the reasons the night was so lovely! The venue upstairs where the dinner was held had a rustic/cabin feel to it. It was a 130 guest party and I never felt like the place was too small. There is a balcony on the back with beautiful stairs leading to where the reception was held. The balcony was a beautiful to take pictures in! The reception (outside, downstairs) had stone floors which we were worried they wouldn't be good for salsa dancing but it was not a problem AT ALL! As a bridesmaid, I got to see a little more of the venue than the guests and this is why my rating is not a 5. The bridal room to get ready in was very small for the 6 bridesmaids and the photographer to all be in. One of us always found ourselves standing. The furniture was on the older side. All that being said, the dressing rooms and bathrooms were all very clean. TLDR; great venue for a small/medium wedding; however, small dressing rooms limit you for getting ready pics. read more

This is such a beautiful venue. I give this place 4.5 stars. I love everything about my wedding venue except for the fact they do not give us enough time to set up. I had to buy an extra hour for my wedding planner to set up. Extra hours add up because each hour costs about 300$. For that one reason I deduct .5 stars. But if you are a bride who is looking for a rustic and whimsical wedding this is the perfect venue. I loved everything from the industrial overhanging light fixtures to the deep vintage wooden walls. When I walked into my wedding space, I was in love. The venue really captured my rustic and whimsical wedding theme. The space is small and intimate so I would not recommend the space for brides looking to have a large wedding. The most this space holds is 120. I had less than a 100 guests and it felt perfect. I can't image having my wedding anywhere else. It was just what I pictured. read more

The best part of our entire wedding was the venue -- apart from it being one of the most important days of our lives :) I would argue against anyone that said we could have found a better location. It was PERFECT. For starters, Rhea and Sue were wonderful contacts that helped us decide on a fitting day for our wedding and worked on the hours/reservation with us (from initial quotes, meetings to catering documents and licenses). Thank you, both, for all the help! The price of the venue was great. There is a lower price for county residents and for winter season. It made the price of the venue incredible, especially for the BEAUTIFUL nature view and log cabin. We had 50 guests for the wedding and held both the ceremony and reception in the lodge. The guests stood around the tables during our ceremony (it was quick and no longer than 20 mins) and then we proceeded to cocktail hour and dinner an hour later. Only negative note about the lodge is that there is only one prep room -- clearly for the bride, so that means that I needed to push the groomsmen into the men's bathroom and I felt a little bad, but we all worked it out! Have all groomsmen and bridesmaid maybe come dressed instead of hoping that they can do it there! Unless you have 3 hours of prep time! The size of the lodge was ideal -- we had giant jenga out on the balcony of the lodge and we were able to take wonderful bridal pictures outside in the field/back in the wooded area behind the property. The fireplace was beautiful (especially since we were able to light it) and with the beautiful log cabin and newly installed bistro lights, we didn't require much decoration apart from some extra flowers. Less work for everyone and we were all able to enjoy the natural beauty of the lodge. I would genuinely consider holding other events here -- it was wonderful and we may do a big family event there someday. :) read more

First time at this hall for a wedding reception and I thought it was fantastic. It had a rustic flair to it as it is a beautiful log cabin that was roomy and is perfect for this type of venue. When you look off the back balcony it is very scenic and one of the guest took drone footage which I am sure will be something the bride and groom will cherish. I don't know what they charge to rent the hall but it is a great place for all kinds of functions read more

The Seneca Lodge is absolutely beautiful! My husband and I loved everything about the wedding venue. The location is situated near the woods and has an expansive green lawn, which makes for a gorgeous backdrop. There is also an option to rent out the tent in the yard, but we declined that option. When you first walk into the lodge, it gives off a very rustic, yet intimate and romantic feeling with great lighting and a fireplace in the center. The vaulted ceilings make the space seem a lot bigger, yet it was still cozy for our 110 guests. The AC and ceiling fans do a great job in keeping the room cool, which we were very grateful for in the summer heat. The bridal room downstairs was recently renovated, and it had a couch, private bathroom and space for our entire bridal party. Lastly, the staff at the lodge were friendly and approachable. They were accommodating with last minute changes to our layout, and they answered every question we had. We couldn't imagine having our wedding anywhere else! read more

We recently celebrated our wedding at the Lodge and would choose this same venue a hundred times over if we could! The staff members are responsive, competent, kind, and easy to work with. They were flexible when we had requests and really prioritized us having everything we wanted for our big day. The lodge itself is obviously beautiful and the surrounding grassy area as well. Many of our wedding guests commented on how lovely the venue is. We really feel we stumbled upon a fantastic deal with the Lodge, and are so grateful to have gotten married in this stunning location! I had my wedding their. It started out nice. Until the downstairs bathrooms completely flooded and their was toilet water all over the basement. They tried to hide it by not telling me or my husband. It was so bad that our were leaving the wedding. The event staff ended our wedding early without telling us what was happening. They denied the flooded and poop on all over the basement. The Lodge is a beautiful venue. I rented out the lodge and the tent in the back for my mother's memorial service. The inside of the lodge, as well as the patio and the tent are lined with strings of warm white lights. The inside of the tent has stone flooring and has flaps that can be closed in case of rain. It was the perfect setting with the vast green field in the back, tall trees to the right, and the dark wood cabin. The Lodge has a classy outdoor/rustic feel to it. Rhea was the venue manager and was very accommodating and helpful. She always responded quickly to my emails and questions. read more

Great location for a wedding or private event. I attended a wedding reception here over the weekend and it was the perfect set-up. I would say it comfortably fit 75-100 people indoors leaving room for the appetizer and mains set-up, DJ, and dance floor. There is also a great patio out back looking over a vast green field, perfect for an outdoor wedding. The lodge is dark wood and the perfect event space whether you are going with rustic/casual or upscale. There is also ample parking. read more

Note: I did not use this venue for an event of any sort. I have been at this venue for an event and everything from the lodge to the gorgeous green grass field behind the lodge is absolutely gorgeous. I would love to host an event here one day. This review is for the reservations manager, Justin. I had called, extremely last minute, inquiring about the availability of the lodge and while it was not available, the normal thing would happen would be to say thank you and hang up the phone. Soon after Justin told me that the lodge was unavailable, he quickly starting spewing off all the other venues in this area he could think of and gave me names of POC's and their information to contact them. He was so incredibly helpful that I definitely want to use Lodge at Little Seneca Creek one day in the near future. Knowing that they have such a great reservations manager makes me optimistic about the rest of the staff. The Lodge at Little Seneca Creek was the perfect spot for our wedding day. It is absolutely beautiful and able to accommodate an indoor or outdoor ceremony and reception. It POURED on our wedding day and the ceremony was delayed by 30 minutes and the Lodge handled all of that with grace. It is a stunning venue and totally worth booking. read more

The Lodge is such a beautiful place! If you are looking for a venue with an outdoorsy nature feel that is affordable, the Lodge is a great choice. It costs less than Brookside Gardens or Woodend Sanctuary and has a fantastic forest in the back which you can take pictures in (if you don't mind the occasional spider crawling on your dress). The venue consists of an entertainment hall with log construction, a stone fireplace, and a very nice deck in the back, which is perfect for a bar and for folks to hang out on. The back lawn is spacious and there is room if you want to place a tent there for shade. There is plenty of space in the field area if you are having an outdoor ceremony. The venue also has dinner tables, dinner chairs, cocktail tables, and outdoor chairs available for use at no extra charge. We visited the Lodge once during an open house and decided immediately that we liked the place. The open house sessions were frequent and useful for us to visit without setting up an appointment. The events coordinator and some of the vendors that show up at the open house give useful input based on their experience with other events that have taken place at the Lodge. On the day of your event, you are assigned a coordinator who will let the vendors into the venue and let them know where everything is. Booking was very simple and I did not have to have a lot of back and forth with the scheduling staff for the initial reservation, add-ons, and making payments. There were about 120 people at the reception. In terms of space, our dinner was plated so we didn't need extra space for buffet tables, but we did have a fruit and cheese display on two tables against a back/side wall and a dessert/candy table along the side of the fireplace. There were between 8 and 10 people per 6ft round table and a long head table. We had a good-sized dance floor and dj and we didn't find it hard to move around when visiting each table. It felt cozy in an intimate way. None of the guests complained about space, but our families are thankfully filled with easy-going people. We used the enormous back lawn for activities like badminton, bubbles, bocce ball, hula hoops, and a moonbounce (best decision ever; don't worry, your mortified mother will get over it). I am 100% satisfied with my experience visiting, booking, and celebrating at the Lodge. It was an elegant, warm, and inviting space close to nature to host our family and friends. read more

The lodge was absolutely perfect for our wedding. It's such a beautiful location, inside and out, that we didn't need to bring in much decor, and it reminded my father of his teenage years spent hiking in the Adirondacks. Justin and Melissa were very responsive, answered all of our questions in a timely manner, and helped to make our wedding day PERFECT. They even went above and beyond by allowing us to use the tent, which we hadn't rented, when we found out it was going to be pouring the whole day. I can't imagine having our wedding anywhere else.
