Unfortunate I wasn't quite in the market just yet. I was keeping my eyes open. Fast forward to about 3 weeks ago. I passed by the lot again and saw a Mini Cooper in the lot. It was like it was calling out to me, so I stopped to take a look. The car was in pristine condition, interior like brand new. Much to my delight, it was a manual, so I had to take it for a test drive. It was love at first shift! This car moved! It was so comfy and although I was looking for something more practical to replace the car that was gifted to me (2014 yellow Chevy Spark) it was something I could see myself in. So I left a deposit. A few days later, I came back and did all the paperwork. The only think I needed to do was bring the title over and it was a done deal. Well 2 days went by, and I noticed that the car was blowing a little smoke. No big deal. I put some sea foam in the crankcase, and premium gas in it and planned a drive from New York to Philadelphia to "blow out" the engine. I also had an appointment at the Mini dealership for a recall on an engine component. I figured, maybe that would fix the problem. I drove to Philadelphia and the car was just amazing on the road. I must have put 300 miles on the car that day. I also took the car in and had the recall fixed, and the problem continued. I ended up driving over to Steve's to bring the title for my trade and told the owners what was happening. I was told, "hold on to your title work, and take your old car until we can figure this out." So I ended up driving my 'traded in' car for about a week while they tried to figure out the problem. After they overturned every stone, and exhausted pretty much every avenue available, they conceded they couldn't find the root issue. Graciously, I was offered a full refund and basically the deal was wiped clean. I say all that to say this, these two gentlemen were straight up and down with me the entire time. No dealer lies, no shady talk, just straight up honest people. I could have been told you signed the papers, now deal with it and they would have been within their rights to do so, but they didn't. I offered to pay for them detailing my trade in (they did an amazing job) and they turned down the money. I was told, "we are not in the business to make people angry" and that "this was the right thing to do." Steve's Auto Sales are proof that there are indeed honest people out there and although I didn't drive away with the car I wanted, I left knowing that this level of customer service and honestly virtually does not exist anymore and should be lauded. I highly recommend this car dealership. I think if you are in the market, they have a car that you like and you don't by from them, you are doing yourself a grave disservice! Let me add that they also include in their car sales an extended warranty that covers the major components of the car for 6 months or unlimited miles. Unlike a new car that is backed by the maker, a used car owner only resource for problems is the dealer you bought the car from. Once they have your money it is up to them to resolve the problem or just lie to your face. I notice Amaral while driving in the neighborhood and checked there web site and liked what I saw and Yelpers gave them 4 stars. So I contacted then on the car I wanted and they promptly made an appointment to test drive the car. I went and saw the car and it was so clean like if someone went over it with a toothbrush. I went for the test drive and after some lite haggling we agree on a price, I went to my bank got a Cashier Check the owner and General Manager took care of the paper work himself and I drove off with my car, like 90 minutes after showing up it was painless and with no drama. And when there was a delay on getting my title, the Manager's Dad explain and soon called me to pick it up and my plates. I took my time before I wrote this review because I didn't want to do it until I had the car for a while, well I been driving the car 5 months now and no issues. Amaral also has a service department to back up there warranty. and you can bring your car even if you didn't get your car there. I recommend Amaral to anyone looking to buy a good used car.

The most unprofessional and rudest company I have ever encountered in my life. I went with my…read moresister to buy a used car which while test driving it seemed perfect and the car fax seemed clean. The place was closed and we were already staying after hours, so once we finished the paper work we drove off. Not even 5-10 min after driving out the lot, the car engine light comes on with a warning that it was overheating and to pull over. This happened 3 times on our 30-min drive back home. We didn't end up calling them because we assumed the place was closed and everyone left. We called the next morning to report the issue but was met with a condescending response "well did you check the anti freeze" and had trouble getting the warranty we were promised the day prior. We go to Pep boys to get a diagnostic and the mechanic who works there said it was a transmission issue and we were sold a lemon. We go back to management only to be dismissed and told that pep boys doesn't know what they are talking about and that they are not a reliable source. At this point we are frustrated with not only the dismal of our experience with the car, but them claiming the diagnostic report was invalid since it doesn't have "an explanation". So now we want a refund (it's been under 24 hours). They refused to provide a written statement of the total full amount to return to us, and the original check they gave us of the full amount, they immediately canceled it right after giving it. They failed to inform us that they would have their mechanic look into it which could be subject to change the amount given due to the transportation & dmv admin fees. Apparently their mechanic didn't find anything wrong with it at all, but didn't want to show us his diagnostic since "we no longer want the car". Car-less and now with a canceled check in hand, we go in person to straighten this out only to be met with yelling, belittling, and straight up ghetto attitude. Keisha, the owner, also mentioned "this is why she doesn't like to do business with black people". After the entire headache, we were given a new check with the less amount, now currently holding our breath that we will be able to cash it come Monday. The lack of accountability, customer service, and professionalism is astounding. I wouldn't be surprised if we get a response from the manager or owner showing the attacking and customer blaming. They said they are a "business", well how about being honest and transparent, showing empathy to your BUYING CUSTOMERS WHO KEEP YOU IN BUSINESS. Luckily we got some money back, but it did not come easy. If they escalate this, best believe we will get lawyers involved.

The experience I had with Victor at Signature Pre-Owned was exceptional. Yes, you could sometimes find a better price for similar models on auction websites such as Bring-a-trailer or Cars&Bids (this car was previously listed there as well), but if you pay a few bucks more, in exchange for a complete maintenance history, clear Carfax/CarVertical etc., and literally close-to-new mechanicals, appearance and presentation, this is the place to buy a car. Plus, in my specific case, I got an incredible deal, which made my family and the seller very satisfied. My recommendation: Before you buy, know and love the exact car you want, do your own research, and be clear about the price and what you are willing to discuss. I applaud Signature's clarity, professionalism, fairness, and competence (when I bought it, they even serviced it and ran al the diagnostics again with me present... during the Holidays!). I recommend them wholeheartedly. On a related note, if you decide to buy an Italian Masterpiece (as in the case of this Maserati), I recommend you ignore the rumors you might find online (such as poor reliability, constant issues, quirky or outdated electronics). In my life I was lucky and blessed to be able to own and drive German cars, US muscle, Japanese, French, and British cars, but... the Italians are just on a whole another level. The Granturismo MC is not only a beast (the Formula-1 sounding 4.7 L Ferrari-Maserati F136 Y MC spec is in my view one of the best engines, ever), but it is perfect. It has absolutely no issues to this day, runs perfectly, and there isn't a day where hearing its roar does not put a smile on my face (as well as my wife's and my kids'). I also believe that this Maserati is one of the best (if not "The" best) looking cars in automotive history.
