The only game in town. (RIP Sunset, I wish that I had known you, but I was just a kid, that didn't…read morelive in Lodi yet.) When it sells out, time to go to Stockton or EG. This did happen to me once in the last six or so months I've lived here. My buddy and I had to go to Stockton for Zootopia, which had been out for months by that point. So, the only game in town means plan ahead. I've never seen it dead here before. So far. What do I know, these aren't the reviews you're looking for. Move along. Lol I do love reviewing the cinema though. Lodi 12 is usually a happening spot when I come. And it is at least competitive with other theatre chains in the area. It is part of the Santa Rosa Cinemas, a smaller family-run business that has, from what I can tell, a handful theatres in Central (and Ventura?) California. Though it's probably not much older than me, the building has a bit of a retro feel, with big lobby windows in a semi-circle and bright yellow marquee at night. I am a sucker for a retro cinema if you've read my other movie theatre reviews, but any cinema with character will be appreciated by me. The only upgrade I would prefer would be to get rid of the need to print a paper ticket, even if you buy online ahead of time. Whoever is cheaping out on a scanner for QR codes, get with it and save some trees. It would even be okay if they were old school ticket stubs for the nostalgia (I love cinema nostalgia and will go out of my way for it), at least they would look pretty in my novelty shadowbox, but nah, they're just receipt roll paper. Alas I digress; I don't like wasting time doing that when I could be in line for popcorn or taking a selfie with Heathcliff. Some auditoriums are nicer than others but I believe all have recliners and the little swivel tables that make me feel like a baby. I have not seen any evidence of wear and tear on the seats like in some of these pictures on here, eesh. They have multiple screens that utilize Dolby Atmos / Ultimate Digital Cinema surround sound, and at least one auditorium that has Real D 3D for the 3D enjoyers. As a four eyes, making myself a six eyes for the rare, usually James Cameron backed adventure is about all I care to partake of. Sound and screens are great and have been recently upgraded. I do enjoy coming here and feel the amenities are satisfactory. Snack and food selection is good, and the popcorn is fresh. They have a wine and beer kiosk as well, though we usually come after a meal and thus have not yet partaken of libations here. This cinema is in downtown Lodi, and does not have a parking lot. Street parking is usually not far away. Maybe see you later for another totally necessary screening of My Dad and His Son Baby Yoda. This is the way.

First visit to this theatre and what a pleasant surprise…read more This theatre is part of a conglomerate of other theaters and so much cleaner, customer friendly and up to date. The only grumble I have is not providing the flavored cheeses like the other sister locations. You can purchase where that doesn't happen in the Santa Rosa theaters.

I enjoyed the wine flavors here a bit better. I'm more for the lighter white wine selections these days. They gave me good options. The outdoor garden area with patio seating is pleasant. Their venue has a more modern and clean feel. It seems pretty relaxing. Some of the cutest pumpkins and gourds were displayed at the entranceway. The expanse of the vineyard itself is amazing in the forefront of blue skies and sunlight. Lots of parking is available on their gravel lot. What I do know, cuz of my sis, is that they're a dog-friendly establishment. (Please remember to bring appropriate snacks and drinks for the pups.)

The grounds, buildings and tasting room are beautiful, a sophisticated rustic cabin appeal with manicured landscaping and a craftsman style main building. We stood at the main tasting bar to try four wines. The Chardonnay and especially fhe old vine Zinfandel stood out as excellent to us and we ended up getting some bottles. As there weren't many folks doing a tasting on a weekday we got VIP treatment and had a deljghtful conversation, and education about the wines, from the person pouring for us. We really enjoyed our stay and the surroundings made it extra nice. Compared to the hype of Napa and Sonoma this winery and others in the Lodi area are down to earth and affordable in comparison, especially for tastings. This place very much is worth a visit. Sitting outside to sip a bottle must be delightful too.

WOW has always been a favorite for our family, but this event really brought the whole community together. The museum was full of energy with kids running from activity to activity, experimenting, building, and just having fun learning without even realizing it. The raffle baskets were fantastic and way bigger than I expected. You could tell local businesses and supporters really showed up for this event. There were vendors set up, tons of hands on activities throughout the museum, and yes, free popcorn which automatically makes any kid event a win. What I love most about WOW is that it never feels overwhelming or overly structured. Kids are encouraged to explore, touch everything, and be curious. You can easily spend a few hours here and still not see it all. It is such an important space for downtown Lodi and a great reminder of how valuable places like this are for families. Fun, educational, and genuinely community-driven. We had a blast celebrating with the WOW museum!

Upon coming in, the front desk was very kind and helpful. The museum itself isn't too big nor too small, but has a lot of interesting exhibitions and activities for the kids to do along with a gift shop. My little cousins had a lot of fun and learned about frequency wave lengths, electricity, and some brain ticklers, amongst other things. I hope this little museum can one day offer more exhibitions for the littles, but we had an amazing time nonetheless!

We were greeted and seated promptly after arriving. The restaurant is decorated in vintage paintings and furniture, a large brick oven for pizzas and a cute outdoor patio with additional seating. I ordered the Tri Tip Green Chili Melt which was really good, others in the group ordered, wings, fish & chips, chicken caprese sandwich & the French Dip. All of our food & drink were delicious & our service was top notch. We enjoyed our dining experience at Dancing Fox and plan to dine here again in the future.

We got the foccicia bread basket as an appetizer and it was really good, herb, olive oil, soft bread like a sponge. The chicken pot pie was excellent, full of flavor, great crust and good filling. I got the French dip, it was probably one of the best I had in a while. The au jus was the best part, thick, flavorful along with a strong creamy horseradish. Service............. Not so much. For a big place that was maybe 40% occupied, it was soooooooooooooooooo slow. One server from what I see, 2 bussers, and 5 others standing around chatting. Took a good 30 mins to get seated (there was tables available), though we got to go to their tasting room, and got a bottle of wine; another 20 mins to get the server's attention after getting seated and probably another 40 for the food to come. That was probably the most irritating.
