I visited Lodi Stadium 12 Cinemas in Lodi, CA [109 N School St] on Thursday, 08/06/26, around 9:30 PM. I came here because I was so excited to watch the Spider-Man: Brand New Day movie! When I approached the ticket counter at the front, I was assisted by Ben. Ben literally had the friendliest, kindest personality ever! His customer service exceeded my expectations, and it was genuinely positive. It was refreshing to experience that, thanks to him. The movie ticket I purchased was roughly $18. Of course, the movie was entertaining and spectacular. The inside of the theater was comfortable, especially with the reclining chairs. The visuals were displayed nicely throughout the film. I will continue to come back to this cinema. It's my top choice that's conveniently located near my home (~15-minute drive). read more

The only game in town. (RIP Sunset, I wish that I had known you, but I was just a kid, that didn't live in Lodi yet.) When it sells out, time to go to Stockton or EG. This did happen to me once in the last six or so months I've lived here. My buddy and I had to go to Stockton for Zootopia, which had been out for months by that point. So, the only game in town means plan ahead. I've never seen it dead here before. So far. What do I know, these aren't the reviews you're looking for. Move along. Lol I do love reviewing the cinema though. Lodi 12 is usually a happening spot when I come. And it is at least competitive with other theatre chains in the area. It is part of the Santa Rosa Cinemas, a smaller family-run business that has, from what I can tell, a handful theatres in Central (and Ventura?) California. Though it's probably not much older than me, the building has a bit of a retro feel, with big lobby windows in a semi-circle and bright yellow marquee at night. I am a sucker for a retro cinema if you've read my other movie theatre reviews, but any cinema with character will be appreciated by me. The only upgrade I would prefer would be to get rid of the need to print a paper ticket, even if you buy online ahead of time. Whoever is cheaping out on a scanner for QR codes, get with it and save some trees. It would even be okay if they were old school ticket stubs for the nostalgia (I love cinema nostalgia and will go out of my way for it), at least they would look pretty in my novelty shadowbox, but nah, they're just receipt roll paper. Alas I digress; I don't like wasting time doing that when I could be in line for popcorn or taking a selfie with Heathcliff. Some auditoriums are nicer than others but I believe all have recliners and the little swivel tables that make me feel like a baby. I have not seen any evidence of wear and tear on the seats like in some of these pictures on here, eesh. They have multiple screens that utilize Dolby Atmos / Ultimate Digital Cinema surround sound, and at least one auditorium that has Real D 3D for the 3D enjoyers. As a four eyes, making myself a six eyes for the rare, usually James Cameron backed adventure is about all I care to partake of. Sound and screens are great and have been recently upgraded. I do enjoy coming here and feel the amenities are satisfactory. Snack and food selection is good, and the popcorn is fresh. They have a wine and beer kiosk as well, though we usually come after a meal and thus have not yet partaken of libations here. This cinema is in downtown Lodi, and does not have a parking lot. Street parking is usually not far away. Maybe see you later for another totally necessary screening of My Dad and His Son Baby Yoda. This is the way. read more

Good place to watch a movie but could use a little clean up here n there and it will get 5 stars.

First visit to this theatre and what a pleasant surprise. This theatre is part of a conglomerate of other theaters and so much cleaner, customer friendly and up to date. The only grumble I have is not providing the flavored cheeses like the other sister locations. You can purchase where that doesn't happen in the Santa Rosa theaters. read more

I've been coming to this theater for years (since it first opened). Lately it seems to be lacking cleanliness and overall care for this place. The women's restrooms always seem to have multiple stalls out or order. There was popcorn all over the lobby/main entrance floor. We've also experienced some seats not working so you are not able to recline the chair. The main reason that triggered me to write this review is today was the third time where they forgot to turn off the lights once the movie started. I know I wasn't the only one frustrated because several people got up to say something. Again, this just feels like management no longer cares. It's sad to see this place decline when it use to be so nice. read more

My boyfriend and I attended a showing for the Housemaid on 12/28. When the ads started playing, only sound was on and not video. After 10 minutes it was finally noticed by an employee. An employee came into the theater and told everyone we would be refunded for our tickets, refunded for our food, and given comp tickets for the inconvenience. We stood in an extremely long line just to refund our food, and instead of simply processing the refund, they took the food back, even though it was obviously just going to be thrown away. It felt petty, almost like a punishment for asking for our money back. The process was disorganized and unnecessarily complicated. We were then told to stand in a separate line to refund our tickets. Even with my receipt, I was denied a refund because I didn't have the physical paper tickets. Instead, I was given comp tickets, which I didn't want, because after this experience I have no intention of returning. Despite what was announced to the entire theater, we were not given both refunds and comp tickets. Staff were rude, unapologetic, and showed zero concern for the inconvenience caused. Technical issues are understandable. Poor customer service is not. This entire experience felt dismissive and poorly managed. It was a major inconvenience. read more

This was my first visit to this theater. It was really fun. The seats were comfortable. I'm short so maybe next time I'll bring a neck pillow. Other than that everything was good. Loved the surround sound. The movie was great. Definitely will be back again someday. read more

You can choose Your Seat depending on reservations. This place had always had a great concession stand. The smell of fresh popcorn was really good. I also had Nachos and great refreshments. This had iMax quality and great seats. Overall satisfied with this place. read more

The employees are LAZY. There's literally no reason to have them there. I'm not sure why they even have employees there if I'm scanning my own tickets, grabbing my own stuff and cleaning the theater for them. I won't be surprised if pretty soon the theater becomes self movie theater. read more

I always come to Lodi to see a movie. It's way better then Stockton. My only complaint is the concession stand. Never enough of cashiers and they move sloooow. When one customer leaves they seem to do clean up work before calling up the next customer. The Dolby screen is a nice upgrade to the standard screens. I recommend seeing the movie in there If you can. read more

If I could do zero stars I would. Showed up to watch housemaid and the screen was black the lady kept saying we would get refund plus a raffle ticket thing for a free movie. We ended up only getting the refund back in which we had to stand in a line to refund our concession food and another line for the tickets. The lines were with everyone from the theater and only one worker doing the refunds while 10 other workers standing around. Overall not fun :( read more

I wish I was exaggerating.. half the seats don't recline. Most of them have the faux leather destroyed. Also, the speakers in the theater are of poor quality. Sound is muffled. The small tables attached to the seats were dirty with dry food spilled on them. Seats had popcorn and crumbs. I guess they don't clean after every showing. Sadly I won't be coming back here. read more

I would sooner be forced to become Ebenezer Scrooge, be visited by ghosts, and never change my ways only to be left to suffer in the ninth ring of Hell, then to go back to this movie theatre. The seats are broken and do not recline they also are always unclean and the leather is torn down to the cushion. Not to mention there is no air conditioner so you'll boil alive. Even with that. I understand how hard it is to pay for such things, this review is at 1 specially for the people who worked there. Wow! We went to see a movie at 4:30pm on a Wednesday in the more expensive recliner seating room and with only three or four other parties in the room, it was practically a private showing! The theater was clean, service at the snack bar was prompt and friendly, and the food was fresh, warm and delicious - we had popcorn, a soft pretzel with cheese and ice cold cherry Icees. We loved the movie and the sound was not too loud. I was not even annoyed at the half hour of trivia, commercials, trailers and interviews beforehand, even though that usually just bugs me to no end. Went to go to the movies today. First problem is is that their website wouldn't allow me to purchase tickets because the slider doesn't work on it. The second problem is that there was a huge line built up because the kid working the ticket booth had no idea what he was doing so I ended up leaving because the movie that I wanted to see had already started and I was waiting in line way too long. Not sure what happened but the blacks are gray and the volume isn't as high anymore I can literally hear everyone sipping and eating. We paid for Batman and said there's no way we can watch on this dingy colored screen. We left. Sure the seats are great they recline and all but the picture and audio is what matters. I visited the theater today and saw Dream Horse with my family, first time in a theater since the pandemic began. I admit, I was nervous, but I had to breathe, believe in my vaccination and just live a little. The theater is quaint and well equip. The snack bar was pricey as all are, but if you utilize combos you can save money. I got snacks for 4 people for $51 which at a theater is very reasonable. Pros: Social distancing definitely enforced. Seats are assigned and show times are limited to allow for cleaning. Our group of 4 was split up to allow for distancing. Cons: Downtown parking is a headache, and there were very few Disabled parking spaces available. There are also no indications on the website that most rows are up stairs, which was hard on my elderly mother. read more

The staff at this theater straight up lied and stole property from me, and I wish I was kidding. I went to go see a movie, and my father and I were some of the last in the theater at the end of the show. We walk out and less than five minutes later, I realize I forgot my sunglasses. I realized I'm responsible for all my property, so I walked back and asked a staff member if I could check the theater. They direct me to a manager, who said sure. I check our entire row. I knew I left my glasses on the table of our chairs, but I wanted to make sure. Nothing. Not on the tables, the coasters, the floor, or behind the chairs. We were gone for less than 5 minutes, so I assume a staff member could have put them in lost and found. I ask the manager if she could check and she said "I found nothing, there was nothing in the theater." I ask if she could check again with some of the cleaners and staff and she said there was nothing she could do. I understand working in service is hard. I've done it for years myself, and I still work minimum wage. This was a purchase I saved up for, and it really sucked for it to be "lost" to the staff. But the part that really disappointed me was the lack of care and integrity at this establishment. Your customers are gone for less than 5 minutes, and you already pocket their belongings? Don't offer a lost and found to look in? It's truly disappointing; I've been coming here for years and this experience definitely didn't make me want to come back. read more

This theater used to be great but now about 50% of the time we go, at least one of our seats are broken. The material is completely worn and it makes the place look incredibly cheap. Warning to all when you buy movie tickets on line for Lodi . Fandango website which says Lodi be so careful you are not buying tickets for another town . I ended up buying tickets for Sunnyvale and they will not refund my money . I put in a appeal . By the time I tried the machine and went to ticket box , and we were late they will not refund my money . That day I brought 8 tickets instead of four . The girl at Lodi ticket box said this happens a lot . I contact them that night but was refuse , sent email the next day. Now they said since I email the next day no refund . By the time we got home it was after 7:00. Buy your ticket ahead at the box or make sure it is Lodi theater website. read more

It's been a while since I have been here due to Covid, however everything seemed so run down. They have 5 people working behind the snack back yet only one person working a register. The floors had stuff everywhere: it just overall seemed so sloppy. Then the popcorn.... So burnt and tasted so stale. Very disappointing. Then one of our chairs in a group of 5 didn't recline.... Disgusting dirty. Do they sweep or mop? Serious fly infestation at the snack bar. I'm not kidding black flies crawling on every soda machine. There were 5 on the credit card swiper. We got there opening and the floors behind the snack bar were insanely dirty. Through a straw wrappers and old popcorn all over the counters where you pay. The place is absolutely horrendous. When we actually got to our seats, I had to use the flashlight on my phone to find the actual seat numbers. The chairs are disgusting. I don't think they ever wipe down the cupholders.
