Not only that, but it will take you a week to get the correct 14 documents you need to send it back. Lane Bryant is pretending to serve Canada, but all they are doing is ripping us off. The items are already expensive.... They could make a great business just out of returns, and it appears they are.

However, if they're not five stars, they're absolutely wrong. The store has gotten in a lot of merchandise that's popular and old-school as well. They even had MTG dice in there and a variety really cute different dice that you can't find anywhere else. They were having a buy one get one 30% off on regular priced items, clearance was buy one get one free and they offer a military discount of 10% off. The deals are always really good in the store. I don't ever think that they really have anything that's overpriced. The people who work there are so friendly. They greet you when you come in and it's not the greets they say hey don't steal. It's a greet that says hey I like my job. What can I help you find? I always spend money here. I knew of no other plus sized store, other than fashion bug that closed down a few months prior to my son being born. I had little to no clothes and I was in desperate need. She told me, though pricy, torrid was excellent. I went one weekend, a little apprehensive, from previous negative experiences at clothing stores, but this store was different. When entering, I expected teeny little women bouncing up to me, asking me when size I wore, and referring me to a small section with floral print and Mumu dresses. No. I was greeted kindly by the manager that worked there, and she must have saw the fear, for she helped me personally. She was very kind, (dezzy I believe is her name, forgive me if its not.), everyone was plus sized which made me feel welcomed automatically, and no one judged. I explained that I was the heaviest I've been and I needed a whole new wardrobe. She helped me size myself, and helped me from bras, to wedges. Everything I needed. $1000.00 dollars, a platinum membership, and a beautiful wardrobe later, I never felt so alive, so beautiful, so normal, so accepted. Sense than, they changed their fashion two fold. they redesigned their store, changed up their fashion from skulls and patterns, to more sophisticated looking modern clothes. i liked the patterns, but they were getting a little old. I lost about 50 pounds sense that first day, and now my heart breaks for I am "sizing out" (can no longer fit most of their clothes) but I hear, they are going to 00 and dropping their pants down to a size 10, which may allow me to stay around for a little longer. Just recently I bought my wedding dress from them (something simple and modest) and still like to get my sweaters and jeans. I love this store, everyone is so kind and accepting, I can go here and ALWAYS find something that fits perfectly; from top to bottom. I told him that the shoes were half the price on Amazon (they are $139 there and Amazon has them for $70). After I said that he said "You want me to let you try on shoes here when you want to buy them from Amazon?". He actually yelled it so the other person in the store could hear it. I told him I just wanted to try them on, I wasn't even sure I was going to buy them here or anywhere. I walked over to the shoes again and waited till he was done with the other person. After he was done with her I went back up to him and told him that the conversation between me and him were no one else's business. I asked him why he had to say it so loud so the whole store could hear? He threw the shoes on the counter and said here go try them on. At that time I asked him why he was acting like this? He told me to leave the store. I said why should I have to leave the store, all I wanted to do is try on a pair of shoes. He then proceeded to tell me that he was going to lock the front door. He went and locked the door so I called the police. In the meantime I seen a security guard walk by and I knocked on the window for him to come in the store. I told the security guard what was going on and the security guard let me out of the store. I filed a complaint with the mall. I still can't believe how this Manager of this store acted. Beware. I would rate my recent experience as minus 10, were such a category available. I had only…read moregood experiences with this store for about 14 years, until May 5, when I attempted to return a pair of ordered online on May 2. The shoes were too big and when I attempted to return them on May 5 , the return was rejected with no explanation other than a rejection receipt telling me to call The Retail Equation. The shoes were unworn; undamaged; boxed, and not treated or subject to a final sale. They were returned within three days of purchase. The Retail Equation website says the retailer determines the return; the DSW manager said it's up to the Retail Equation. I have filed a complaint with the NJ Department of Consumer Affairs for violation of the statute governing , among other things, posting of return policies. I sent a certified letter to DSW on May 12, requesting a refund and explanation. I attached full documentation of the purchase and the rejection receipt . Then, I contacted my credit card company and today received a response stating DSW claims it never received communication from me about the issue, which is untrue. I sent a certified letter with documentation on May 12. Retail Equation is subject to a class action lawsuit in California for its antics with DSW and other retailers. Tread carefully if you deal with this retailer.

Well, that was blown off and put on a FedEx delivery truck.I was fortunate enough FedEx delivered that one. My Clam Shell Purse, however, left me on the fringes of my seat. Another "popular item", had to be shipped in store. When it ended up not being in the order shipment, I just requested a refund and ordered it online. Cringing at the shipping courier, FedEx, and afraid knowing they are mostly miss with deliveries (being understaffed and overworked), I thought picking up this happy little gem of a bag might work out in my favor by stopping by my local FedEx Ship Center. Nope! Sorry! They are getting rid of their Customer Care Center, so all packages designated for a pickup will be at the nearest Dollar General. So, my beautiful bag is put on a truck for my nearest Dollar General, only FedEx has neglected to tell me now about the fee for transitioning between FedEx and Dollar General. On top of that, the tracking numbers didn't even match. I was forced to do a charge back. Ironic, given much of VV's own apparel and accessories are no longer American made. They are made in Vietnam, utilizing child labor for pennies that hand sewed that beautiful bag I thought I had. But was it worth all I have been through, nevertheless I am against child labor? Absolutely not. I inevitably ended up doing a charge back, and saying goodbye to a nostalgic relic from the past.
