I purchased a pair of shoes that unfortunately did not fit. Before buying this pair, I had purchased a smaller size when it was not marked as Final Sale. I returned that pair and purchased a half size larger, expecting it to fit better. However, the larger size was not only longer but also much wider, making the shoes look oversized and uncomfortable on my feet. I explained the situation to the store manager, Annabelle, hoping she would make an exception given the circumstances. I wasn't trying to break the Final Sale policy--I genuinely expected the larger size to fit because I had already exchanged from the smaller size. Unfortunately, she completely ignored my explanation, showed no empathy, and made no effort to help. She didn't even smile or try to have a respectful conversation. I was left feeling like she simply wanted me to leave the store. I shop at this Anthropologie location and online almost every week, and this experience was completely different from what I've always received in the past. The previous managers and associates were always friendly, professional, and provided outstanding customer service. This was the first time I've ever felt so disappointed. Policies are important, but great managers also know when to listen to loyal customers and handle situations with kindness and professionalism. Sadly, that was not my experience today. If you're purchasing Final Sale items, especially shoes, be very careful. Even if you are simply exchanging for what you believe will be the correct size, you may not receive any flexibility if the fit is completely different.

There were also a pair of ADORABLE 7s, but unfortunately, I couldn't justify the price- they were still $130 despite the "outlet" price. They also have a good selection of cute jewelry and purses, along with men's clothing. Their clothing is largely on the more trendy side- probably bordering on my fine line of what I find as being my style. (Me = slightly nerdy young professional type who likes to look cute, be comfortable, and somewhat stylish... at least sometimes.) The only problem was that one of the girls there was a tad pushy- I don't think she quite had an understanding of my style by the types of things I was picking out and she kept bringing by things telling me that "oh, this was super cute" and "these sold out so fast" and it got a little tiring. When so many businesses are struggling, I can see this one growing, as will only the best stores. I'll make it a point to stop there on my Park City trips, I'm way up in Brigham City. I am so glad I got to meet the owner, Lori, a previous buyer for Nordstorm's in OC Calif. It's great to find the CA styles, and fabulous pieces. Even as I purchased 3 pair, the same man didn't have the courtesy to say thank you to me for the purchase. There are a lot of places to shop so not sure why they care so little about customer service.

That coupon was good on regular priced merchandise and sale price merchandise. That is a big value! This store is bright, clean and well merchandised with pricing clearly marked. There's plenty of convenient free parking. The sales people are helpful. I like when they help me find my specific size and color without leaving me to hunt all over the store. If you're spending time outdoors in Park city and you participate in Active sports, it's worthwhile to come here and pick up some good under armor sports wear on your visit. City Creek is no different, and on my most recent visit one girl in particular (whose name I unfortunately neglected to ask) was especially great, fetching various sizes and articles of clothing for me, and offering tips to ensure the best fit on some jeans. And that's what Madewell is really all about. All their clothing is fab: classic, mostly simple, comfortable, and flattering, but their denim is about as close as you can get to the Holy Grail of jeans. They fit so perfectly and are made so well (ha!). Seriously, though. It's dreamy as can be. They also offer a few bath and body products, candles, cards, accessories, and simple, modern jewelry. It's worth joining their (free) rewards program for various special sales and gifts. I especially like this location for it's size and generous selection. If you've never been to Madewell this is an excellent introduction to the brand, and if you are already a fan this will likely be your favorite store.
