Most of the employees here are not friendly and do not seem to have customer service skills. Every person I interacted with here had a completely monotone voice and did not seem like they were happy to be there at all. This location is usually always a mess, but I guess since it is in Sugar House, they don't feel like store cleanliness and employee friendliness is important, as they will still continue to get the traffic they need to keep the store here. had a terrible experience at the Old Navy in Sugarhouse. Despite having five employees working, only one was on the register, and a single transaction took over 12 minutes while no one else bothered to step in and help. The cashier worked at a glacial pace, showing no urgency whatsoever. On top of that, they did not accept cash that night, which is absolutely ridiculous. The store itself was clean and organized, but the customer service was awful. The manager on duty clearly saw the long wait at the registers multiple times and did absolutely nothing. It's clear that customer service is not a priority here. Don't waste your time--this location sucks. read more

I am a huge fan of Old Navy! I've loved their clothes for years. I don't often frequent the sugarhouse SLC location; however, my boyfriend and I were looking for a couple of shirts for our vacation coming up. After picking out our items and heading to checkout, the General Manager, Diego, checked both me and my boyfriend out. While checking me out, Diego asked if I wanted to sign up for the credit card. I politely said no thank you and he proceeded to push back excessively. In a more serious tone, I said "I'm good, thanks". He proceeded to scoff at me and say "I'm just doing my job, no need to cut me off." I was truly shocked by his level of unprofessionalism as I'm actively purchasing items from his location. I politely said back "I did not cut you off", as all I had done was simply reiterate for Diego that I didn't want to sign up for the credit card, despite his multiple attempts at getting me to do so. He clearly seemed upset that I did not wish to sign up for the credit card. All this to say, it's worth frequenting another Old Navy location to avoid workers such as these. As someone who works in customer service, harassing your customers and proceeding to speak rudely to them when they turn down promotions is not the way to go. I hope this location can find a better General Manager. read more

This Old Navy is awesome! It is decent size in comparison to other Old Navy's I have been in and it is kept up nicely with the clothing looking put together while on display. I came here on or the day after Black Friday and it was packed, but not packed like I'd think for a Black Friday. It was nice to be able to not have to fight people to look at sale items. They have improved their style I feel like and for winter they're offering a lot of flannels and plaid which is super cute and stylish. Trendy men's style with comfortability in this mix so you won't have to fight your significant other or family members to wear any of their clothing! read more

This is a good Old Navy store with a organized inventory, friendly staff and regular sales and clearances. Old Navy has some good mens clothes, I've picked up some tshirts and sweaters I really like and my wife has some great women's clothes. Old Navy is the end all be all in clothing, but they have some good stuff and for the right price too. read more

I recently started working here and am really impressed with this Old Navy branch. They're accommodating to the employees, customers, and anyone who comes into their store! I was really impressed with the cleanliness of the store given my need for clean on EVERYTHING when I typically walk into a large retail store. The location is great amongst the other neat restaurants and stores surrounding this location. I walk to work every day and feel incredibly safe and secure. It's a well-lit place with very comfortable lighting and seating. The sales are AMAZING and super great for anyone on a budget or anyone looking for a great deal! I mean a total zero. They absolutely will NOT budge on giving you your money back for their cheap, flimsy clothing. I ordered a ton or dresses to try on in my own home expecting to take the majority of them back. Well the return policy is 30 days from purchase date NOT arrival date! Which is what I thought! I thought I had 30 days until I could return these items from when they entered my hands. They wouldn't give me store credit at the Sugarhouse store in salt lake so I drove home and called corporate and they too would not return the items or give me a mercy pass. I could only get store credit through corporate. What a mess. This is not some one man store clothing boutique! This is a multimillion dollar clothing business! Who gets their clothes made in china for pennies and they only last one season anyway because old navy is lowest quality store in the gap company. I took my son here to get some flip flops, as he destroyed his on a walk, and was surprised that child-sized flip flops were $6! He chose slides and they actually rang up $6.50, after being tagged at TWELVE dollars?! It seems odd to me that a. they were so poorly organized, price wise and b. that they cost more than the adult flip flops, which are $2? It doesn't make sense to me at all. The slides do seem more durable than the two dollar flip flops, but not three times as much. read more

This review is about management. My mom and I were shopping here a few months ago around Christmas and a few young girls who worked there were helping us in the fitting rooms. They were very sweet and we're giving us compliments on stuff we tried on and we were enjoying talking to them. Then a manager came up and yelled at them and told them to get back to work right in front of us!! They were totally embarrassed! That is not the right way to treat employees, and it's just plain rude. Made us super mad to see her talk to them that way after they were so nice to us! read more

This store is going down hill. Went in last week for a couple of things for my kids. The store had new inventory stuffed everywhere. Could hardly shop due to hanging racks, boxes, piles of clothes EVERYWHERE. I thought. Man. They just got in a lot of new stuff. Well. Yesterday went back for a return and I kid you not it was worse. I was visiting here from out of state. 50% off the entire store?? Awesome! Well, I'm with my mom who's over 65. There's not a whole lot of people in the store at this time. I go to grab a cart, no carts??? I asked a staff member about the cards she said "well if they're not over there then they're just being used" okay I can understand that except there's not a whole bunch of people in the store and there are several people who do not have carts. Well okay I guess they're not planning to so much on this big amazing sale. We make our way through holding everything in hands my mom can only hold so much we make our way to the front of the line is zigzagged around and there are three cashiers. OLD NAVY... did you know you were having a 50% off the entire store sale? No carts and only 3 cashiers, where's your staff for the sale? Now my mom is sitting there in this big long line no cart to at least lean on nothing to really do but wait in this slow line cuz there are three cashiers and customers with their hands full mind you, only 2 people in line had a cart. ( yes I counted and continue to keep going forward to look for more carts, but no. Working here was the worst thing of my life and all the girls were brats and only cared about you if you were in their clique and freaked out over their starbucks instead of helping us.
