Yesterday, my wife and I were in the area looking for some local goodies as Christmas presents and made our way into Hip & Humble. The outside is very inviting-I love the color of the house-turned-retail building. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by Mabe, the beautiful resident dog. She happily sniffed us, let us pet her and then she went back to her duties of wandering the store. Any place that has a dog is A-OK in my book! Each item in the shop appears to have been carefully curated to be here. Nothing seems out of place or odd. I love every item and how cohesive everything feels. Up front, you'll find an assortment of knick-knacks, home goods, soaps & lotions, etc. Toward the back is a room full of unique women's clothing and accessories. The owner visited with us briefly and we felt very welcome to be there. It's a fun atmosphere with adorable items. I look forward to returning for additional gift items in the future.

This location has a lot of clearance and big mark downs. Some things are a little more expensive, but they are still way less than at the normal department store. It was such a great experience and I found many wonderful gifts for the holidays. They have new items as well that are fun! As well as accessories, shoes, make up, etc. And, they have "store" cats that wander and I love that! However, I imagine it would be hard on those with allergies. So something to take note of.
