They have beautiful grounds and lots going on, but neither the tour nor the tasting were worth our time. They were having a concert and a wedding so not only were we rush to leave, they didn't time the tour properly and we were rushed through the tasting. Our tour guide was nice, but lacked enthusiasm and it was like being at a mundane bookclub. To add insult to injury, nothing in the tasting stood out or was impressive. It would've frankly been better if they just didn't book the tour given the circumstances.

We were in the area for a concert and decided to schedule a tour at Log Still Distillery--and we're so glad we did! We've been on quite a few distillery tours over the years, and this one stood out as one of the best. The entire place has a welcoming, family-first vibe, and it's clear that it's both built by and run by people who care deeply about what they're doing. Terry Dant gave our tour, and he was absolutely fantastic--knowledgeable, engaging, and more than happy to answer every question we threw his way. His passion for the history of the distillery and the Dant family legacy really made the experience feel personal and memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed both the tour and the drinks. Whether you're a bourbon lover or just looking for a great Kentucky experience, Log Still is absolutely worth a visit.

My wife and I just visited Log Still Distillery today. We were amazed at the owner's vision of making the property a destination location with B&Bs, an outdoor concert venue, a fishing pond, and a tasting room. Most important is the bourbon tastes amazing. I had low expectations and walked out with a new standard of excellence. I highly recommend visiting Log Still. The next time we visit, we will make an overnight of it. I'll bring my fly rod, we'll stay at one of the B&Bs, take in a concert, and of course, visit the tasting room. Hopefully i'll see you there.

Really cool place. Bartenders are awesome and whiskey is pretty darn good. Tried the burnt sugar old fashioned. Very tasty. Love the monk bourbon.

Before Saturday I had only been to Log Still for The Amp, their awesome concert venue. But, with a guest in town we decided to do the tour and tasting. The tour guide was very thorough! He's part of the family but has traveled and learned the business from different angles. He was entertaining and friendly. The tour itself is short but the tasting after is great! You get a flight of 4 liquors they make there: gin, barrel-aged gin, a bourbon and a Tennessee Whisky. As a devoted Kentuckian and light bourbon drinker, I was super impressed with how smooth the whisky was! Of course the tour guide goes over how to drink, how to smell, notes if things to look for. Overall, great experience! After the tasting we ordered a cocktail. The barrel aged gin old fashion was phenomenal! . L O V E D it! There were very few tourists there- it is February- but I know it is quite busy in the warmer months.

This was our first time to visit the distillery and I can say we were most impressed. When you enter the building the first thing you see is the tasting area. There is a massive three sided bar to sit around and enjoy a sample of their excellent varieties of Bourbon. There is a gift shop upstairs and outside seats where you can enjoy a concert when they have one. There are also very open windows that allow you to view the still and all the workings. It is a beautiful and very well done experience.

Warm welcome by the greeting team, followed by a equally impressive tour lead. Found out more about Log Still from this visit then known previously. Bought a couple of bottles to further enjoy when i return home. Will include in the plans for next visit to the area.

Informative and passionate staff and tour guide. I love how they have a rich family history and are continuing to stay competitive, but unique in an overall saturated bourbon market. No food served here , but try to catch live music at The Amp.

The tour guide, Brendan, was fantastic! He provided great insight into the history of the distillery and the entire area. The distillery campus itself is beautiful and has a great atmosphere. I've toured numerous distilleries, and this is easily one of the nicest facilities I've toured.

Highly recommend visiting Willett if you're into excellent bourbon and in the Lexington area!

We were in Kentucky for a Midwest/Southern reunion with friends after flying in from San Diego, and…read morevisiting the bourbon distilleries around Bardstown was one of the highlights of the trip. Out of all of them, Willett ended up being our favorite. We had Michael as our tour guide, and he was fantastic. The tour felt a little different from the others because we got to taste different bourbons throughout the tour instead of all at once at the end. Michael was gregarious, funny, and a great storyteller. He kept everyone engaged while sharing the history of the distillery, the bourbon-making process, and plenty of entertaining stories along the way. One of my favorite parts was seeing all of the photos of the distillery cats at the beginning of the tour. As cat lovers, we absolutely loved that. This distillery has clearly been blessed by some very cute feline employees! We enjoyed tasting the different bourbons, and while the gift shop wasn't huge, it had some really unique items. We even brought home a catnip toy for our two kitties. If you're visiting the Bardstown area, I highly recommend adding Willett to your list. It was easily our favorite distillery experience of the trip.
