He offers to pick up the paint for you (after you tell him what colors you want) and gets a discount with Sherman Williams. You can pay with check, Venmo, etc. so it's nice he's flexible. His team was outside my house waiting for him when he arrived one minute early to start, and they finished painting my entire rowhome in 1.5 days. They were friendly, courteous and cleaned up very well after themselves (you want to steam mop after any contractors are in your house though). They also moved the larger furniture I couldn't myself and put it back again. Could I have tried to paint my myself and save some money? Sure. Was it worth the money to have it done by them, saving me days of exasperation (with an uncertain outcome)? Most definitely. I will add painting to the long list I have of "leaving it to the professionals" but will only call this particular professional for my next painting project (as well as refer him to my friends). PS: he also has a cute paint blog on his website that is so pure and reassuring to read because you know your house is in good hands!

More like the Home Nightmare. I hired them to re-caulk two showers and repair one kitchen cabinet…read moredrawer. They asked me not to use the showers 48 hours in advance, so I did. On the day of the appointment, I waited around until 5pm, when I called to confirm they were still coming. They didn't answer, but called me back about 30 min later to say that there was a mix-up and that they weren't coming. To their credit, they did come the next day, but the technician was very confused about what to caulk in my showers. We watched a youtube video together, then he caulked the showers. I was very nervous at this point, but trusted him. Of course, after waiting 24 more hours to use the showers (and now almost a week of showering at the gym), I find that the shower leaks!!! I contacted the company and they promised to look at it when the drawer technician comes out. Well, that appointment got rescheduled 2 times. I was getting pretty fed up and asked them to commit to a time. That's when Pete, the manager, tells me via email that they cannot ensure that a shower won't leak after they caulk it. At this point, I had no confidence in this company and asked for a refund for the one shower and to cancel the drawer repair. They refunded me $75 out $200 wished me luck disputing the remainder with my credit card company. A total waste of my time and honestly the worst customer service I've experienced in Philly (and that's saying a lot!).

He came back to us that same day with a fair quote and was very responsive and friendly with the several follow-up questions we asked in the next days. His brother Dominic and other employee, Blake, were the ones that actually did the work in our home over the course of 9 days. They started by removing some wall paper and then spent numerous hours filling countless holes and cracks in our walls and ceilings. They tried to seal off the areas they were working in in order to minimize the dust as much as possible. They were very diligent at filling all the cracks and holes and smoothing them out so that they were no longer visible. They did several ceilings, a few bedrooms, trim, a living room, kitchen, and hallways, including two staircases. We actually added to the scope of work a couple of times and they were very accommodating. As we were working from home the entire time they were doing the job, we saw first hand how hard they worked throughout the day. They even came back for an extra couple of hours one day to make sure a blemish was fixed. They really went the extra mile, giving it their all and the results showed. We are very happy with how everything turned out! On top of a great outcome, it was a pleasure having them in our home. They were very respectful and friendly, and did a better job of cleaning up at the end of each day than any other contractors we have had in our home. He had been very highly recommended by friends so I felt very comfortable with using them. Azam gave me several colors to choose from and they turned out wonderful.
