After the crazy heavy rains, our basement got some water. We tried several companies who wouldn't even come out for an estimate because they were too busy. Elisio took the time to come out and gave us a quote. It was more than expected but we had no choice and the work needed to be done. My husband found these guys several weeks ago and asked them to give us a quote for a stamped concrete patio & parking pad. Steve responded promptly, took the time to talk through various options with us and gave us a fair quote. Since then, our "little" backyard renovation project has gotten incredibly complicated and we have literally called Steve about a dozen times to ask various questions related to everything from whether the grass we are planting needs to be the same height as the patio to how we might put structural footings for a deck in under the concrete. We had initially provided a positive review, since removed. Here are the facts: We had hired Eliseo and company to repair some steps and do some foundation work. The work was done on time and on budget, service was very cordial and we were pleased initially. Less than six months later, the steps are coming apart. We reached out repeatedly to the company with no response. After multiple emails with no response whatsoever, they finally picked up the phone and rudely indicated the the steps are not under warranty and they can't vouch for the outcome. It is not in my nature to post a negative review but there was not even a tone of apology or responsiveness. The issues I have found are easy to see as they are on steps that are visible. My fear is the quality of work which was done to our foundation (which in fairness, I was told is under warranty) but difficult to verify the area below ground. read more

I requested an inspection and estimate on waterproofing my basement. 3 days later and still no response. Their loss.

I called them about an issue we were having on the side of the house. The cement had sunk, leaving the drain higher than the cement. Whenever it rained the water stood and would not go down the drain. Eliseo came out in a timely fashion to give an estimate and repair the cement. Logan Square Waterproofing provides us with quick service when most other waterproofing companies were extremely busy. They broke and re-poured the cement that was pitched towards our house, which caused water intrusion in our basement. The plastic membrane they installed was left long and not very aesthetically pleasing. They had promised us a quote for a French Drain we needed to put in, and after a few attempts from our end to obtain the quote, they provided us with an obscene number. We then asked if they could come cut down the extra membrane that was sticking out from the concrete they had poured, to which they said they would come in a few days. That was months ago. read more
