It's a little bit of a drive and you will have to drive up on a gravel road for maybe a mile but it's worth it. The farm is quite large but easy to find where to park. The gentleman at the farm was extremely knowledgeable and attentive to us. He explained the varieties of apples on the farm, what they tasted like and where we could find them. He showed us around a little bit and encouraged us to pick a few different apples and bite into them to see if we liked them before picking more. He also had a very cute and friendly pup following him around. So apples and pups? Who could ask for more!? For fruits going out of season faster, you're able to purchase them from the farm cooler. Just gotta ask! But everything is $1/lb which is more than generous! We got Asian pears and honey crisp apples at $1/lb which in my opinion is unheard of. My only complaint and it's obviously not something that could be controlled or should be taken away from the farm is the amount of yellow jackets and bees everywhere. I mean EVERYWHERE!!! You have to be extremely cautious about what you're picking and make sure that a bee isn't coming in the bucket with your pick. But if you're not allergic or afraid of bees, this place is perfect for your upick needs

Ages. But we got gorgeous pumpkins and I grabbed a few of the fancy blue ones for decor. For three "medium" pumpkins and a couple small ones we spent $41!! What value. Where they get you is the corn maze. Skip it!!! If we could have gotten a refund we would have. Trust me when I say BEYOND disappointed. It was muddy. SO muddy. And that could have been remedied with hay on the ground. That would have saved everyone's shoes and cars. And it was $5 per person for a literal circle. It wasn't a maze. It was a circle. That took 5-7 minutes to slowly walk. That was insane. That's where we PAID for the pumpkins. Everything here is pay via Venmo or cash box on the honor system. That's why we paid out the wazoo for the maze. Ugh. How crummy!! (So you HAVE to use Venmo or cash ONLY!) A little bonus was being able to see baby sheepies and the kids loved feeding them corn stalk leaves and watching them. Sheepies!!! Anyway, next year is YES to Pumpkins and sheepies and NO to the maze.

It truly is a circle or a lap, like taking a lap around the park. It's not challenging or engaging, it's just a muddy lap through the corn field. In this case, what I did find was a cool home surrounded by a lovely glade of trees. Serene. No one but us and the little birdies. As for the layout, there is a small outdoor building with shiny baubles for the garden (the little building is super cool) and a wandering path with small signs marking the type of tree/plant you are appreciating. It isn't much to it, though I wonder if they do weddings? We certainly enjoyed our 10 minute break and near the end of our time we were gently greeted by the nice owner lady that led us into an interior art space/store where she creates some lovely ceramics. I was feeling touristy, so I ended up buying a really cool set of handmade coasters (A bit over $20) that I adore. This is more just a thing to do along the way to doing other things, as it doesn't occupy a whole lot of time. As far as how this place is for pre-adults, I cannot say, though I for one was incredibly happy it was just us grown ups. NOTE: This drive requires going a good ways on unpaved roads. They have a great selection of trees, and prices are reasonable but not low. We found a beautiful noble fir for $80 and they shook and bailed for an extra $2. I think it's maybe just over 7 feet? My kids were a bit disappointed for no tractor ride. They have saws for you-cut, but were also willing to help with a chain saw. Tiny little store, with trinkets, crafts, snacks, tree fertilizer. Nothing I had to have. It's run by a gang of children, and wasn't terribly efficient. I had to ask for my change several times. I love that it's a family farm, so definitely getting kids involved is great... they just need some defined roles. (Teacher here)

We walked around the store & got to chat with the employees & ask them a bunch of questions. They're a true farm where you can buy local honey, eggs, pie & seasonal produce like potatoes, corn, zucchini, cucumbers, tomatoes, plums, pears, grapes, onions, garlic, berries, cherries, etc Info about what's in season & available can be found on their website. After walking around the store we headed out back to check out the pumpkins, vegetables and flowers. We had the whole place to ourselves. My sister also went through their corn maze. There's a beautiful view of Mt. Hood from the back of the farm. At the start of this review I said this was my favorite of all farms, part of the reason is because they had the most variety of pumpkins & each & every pumpkin was beautiful!!! When we drove past the farm the following day, (Saturday, October 15th) the place was packed for their Farm Day. There were tractor hat rides, a petting zoo, & a taco truck in the parking lot. Unlike other farm there is no admission fee at this farm for families to visit and enjoy a day at the farm.

A quick glimpse of a few trees by the entrance caught our attention, and we looked forward to this year's seasonal opening. The U-cut trees were priced per foot with free bailing. They provided saws and carts. The grounds were well maintained. The trees were organized by fir varieties that included Noble, Nordmann, Grand, and Douglas. The 5 star staff explained the farm's layout as first timers here. Choosing the perfect one can get overwhelming since there were so many to choose from. They were very helpful and explained the difference between each fir to help guide our selection. We got a Douglas Fir because we liked the full coverage that would complement our ornaments. The smell of the freshly cut tree filled our house with a signature holiday aroma. We liked our experience so much that we plan to return next year.

They make it too easy ;) They have such a great selection of pre-cut trees, I always find a perfect one within minutes. They have a large selection to choose from. They also have a few spots for u-cut trees, one close to the parking lot and the others a bit farther out. But I haven't tried those yet. Their location is very easy to get to and parking is easy in their spacious lot. Service is always very friendly and helpful. They wrap the tree, trim the trunk, carry it to the car, and even offered to tie it down for me. A terrific experience overall and great source of beautiful trees!
