It is hard to find anyone that sells the duck eggs and this vendor The Duckery of Ducktown has REAL free range eggs. The eggs are light and have a wonderful flavor! This is a old-timey farm market and country store grocery stop with a lot of local favorites, fresh produce, and Georgia-grown options. We purchased an assortment of items. They hold the market on Saturdays and Tuesdays, but it's much easier for me to make it on a weekend than a weekday. The parking lot is always busy, but I've never had an issue, because cars come and go all the time and there are plenty of places to park. It's a pretty large market with a lot of vendors. They differ every weekend it seems, because some weekends you see them and others you don't. However, I always make out with bags full of in-season goods. They also have a lot of wood-works, kettle corn, ice cream, gardeners, pottery etc. Never gets boring. They have dog-sitters in a small inclosure for the for those who visits with their fur-babies!! Pumpkin contests in the fall and occasional events.

Fantastic small stop by at a local corner inside an outdoor mall area, where locals pull up in rigs, trucks, 4x4 and tractors. These farmers really are going all out and OUT-competing the grocers and 'big' box office retailers.
