Logan's has an inviting interior with lots of dining space. The staff was friendly in the Alex, LA location. Service was quick since there were only a few diners during my late night visit. Ample well lit parking lot. Restaurant is on the feeder so you can't miss it. I adhered to the hostess' recommendation and enjoyed the meatloaf. If you're ever on the fence, then the restaurant staff will lead you in the right direction. Their eyes and demeanor sparkle when they're impressed by menu items. Light and fluffy Parker House rolls, accompanied meatloaf, steamed broccoli and mashed potatoes. There were only 2 sides in my original order. Yet, the kitchen sent 3. It was very good. read more

Midweek, middle of the evening, not a busy dinner shift. I have no problems with the service we received. We were promptly greeted, immediately seated, and drinks were served quickly. I ordered the 16-ounce ribeye steak, medium rare. It took a curiously long time to be brought out,leading me to believe the kitchen overcooked one the first time and had to cook a second. Hey, no problem, for $26, I want it done correctly. When the steak was served, it was in fact cooked according to my request, but it was so laden in salty seasoning as to be barely edible. I have eaten pretzels with less salt on them than did this steak. It bothered me that an otherwise properly prepared cut of meat what been essentially wasted. It bothered me even more that I was paying $26 for it. This had to have been an accidental double-dose applied in the kitchen. I can't imagine they would intentionally be salting steaks down like that. I won't be back here. read more

My sister and I went to Logan's on Monday August 19, 2024. She ordered the Roadhouse Deluxe Burger cooked Medium with Fries and I ordered All American Burger Medium with Baked Potato. Oh my goodness we absolutely loved it the Burgers were cooked perfectly just enough seasoning on them and juicy. My Baked Potato with Butter was also baked to perfection!! Her Fries were seasoned with salt and hot!! You can't go to Logan's and not eat their Hot Fresh Rolls. Oh my this food was to die for. I had forgotten how absolutely awesome their Burgers are!! 100% would not recommend or return to this location. I had to return an entire order due to my burger not having the meat patty and the order was missing a side that I paid full price for. I took the food back and asked for a full refund and was told that I would have to wait for it to get processed on the next day which would be a Sunday. In addition to living a hr away nothing was given to ensure that a refund would be indeed issued on the next day. I ordered the bayside burger, sweet potato fries and a side of broccoli (which I never received). The total amount was around $52 and the other items that were ordered were ok. I have restaurant experience.... So I only wanted to be refunded the cost of the meal that was returned. UPDATE!!!!! I did receive an actual email from an actual person regarding the issue and was contacted by the manager and I received a refund for my meal which ended up being about $14. Was told that there were no sweet potatoes however, every table around us had sweet potatoes. (nothing against whites but prefer green) no catsup for fries ( they were good) no mustard nor mayonnaise , for burger which was allowed to sit while we waited for her dinner. They brought a baked white potato ; ( again ,nothing against whites but prefer orange colored sweet potatoes) so we had to wait while they took her baked potato back and they took several minutes as they fixed her potato ; as her center cut sirloin , that was really dry and small , was allowed to sit and cool. I ordered a burger simply because last time here the filet was tough and overcooked but friends wanted us to join them here. I think it will be necessary to simply pass on by next time. We had the very best experience last night dining at Logan's. The food was great, but the service was superb! We celebrated my daughter's 14th birthday there. She had 9 friends helping her celebrate. Our amazing server Kyle I. never missed a beat with all of their middle school chaos and energy. He was attentive and went above and beyond to make sure our visit was pleasant and enjoyable. He made my birthday girl feel special and left her friends with mouths as he sang an amazing ballad (this young man is seriously talented) instead of your typical happy birthday song. Everyone that we encountered from the hostesses at the front, to the bus boys in the back, and other wait staff passing in between were so welcoming of our party. First attempt - no one answered. Second attempt - was told that someone would be right out with the order. 15 minutes later - called again; was told, again, it would be right out. Finally we go inside to get a refund. After an additional 20 minutes of attempting to get a refund, someone said that the order was ready. This customer service is flat out deplorable. What was once our favorite go-to restaurant, is now on a list of no-go. Update - And, the order was wrong when we got home and opened the food box. Guess that's the icing on the cake. They did not fail to disappoint, service has gone way down the drain. Not only did the staff act like it was a burden on them to take your order. But when they got half of our order wrong they just disappeared and didn't come back until they dropped the check. Ordered a 22oz porterhouse medium rare and recieved it well done, tough as a piece of leather, and drier than shit. After informing the waitress That I ordered a rare steak (had only taken a single bite.) I was given the excuse that because it was such a high priced steak they would not correct the mistake. No compensation and no apology. The management and owners dont care either just propetuating poorer service. Dont waste your time or money on this dumpster fire of a restaurant. read more

Out of 4 steaks ordered, only one was correct. Baked potatoes we VERY overcooked, salads came about 2 min before food, broccoli was never received. Manager was arguing with customer next us regarding their visit. $112 for the worst experience. When the waitress came to take the drink order, my daughter ask if the music could be lowered as it was blaring over our table and we were unable to have normal conversation. We arrived after lunch on the way home from a conference. There weren't very many people in the restaurant. Before sitting, I had to get paper towels from the bar area to wipe off my seat because it was dirty. After being seated for 15 minutes, and being passed by the waitress in the bar area several times, the bar tender came and greeted us, took our drink orders as well as our food orders (since we'd been there long enough to know what we wanted), and told us that our server was someone with a name beginning with an S. Minutes passed and so did she (several times) then asked did "she" take our drink orders. After telling her what we ordered, the waitress brought out the drinks that had been sitting there. Next, a huge spider began crawling down the glass of the window. My daughter panicked, so we moved ourselves...Our "waitress" was too busy talking to a coworker in the corner so she didn't notice. I let the bar tender know that we moved because of a spider and she said "that's fine". We knew that the move was fine, the lack of cleaning was not. 5 minutes later, I asked the waitress about rolls, because we had none and they were brought to the table. I ordered grilled shrimp, my husband ordered a steak, and daughter chicken tenders. After being there for an hour, we were done, and thanks to Charlen, the bar tender, we were ready to go. I don't know if it's the economy and the mentality of not working , but to some, customer service and common courtesy has become a lost art. 2 star is all i can give. Hostess seemed to have a bit of an attitude. After she sat us, we waited for about 5 minutes for anyone to come to our table. Finally a server did. So, the server comes with our appetizer plates and right in front of us, smears her fingers and palms over and over the plates, I assume trying to clean them off? Yeah, I don't think I'll be putting any food on those plates. I flipped them over, so we wouldn't accidently use them. Onion petals came out and they were good as usual, as the other Logans. Bread came out, 1 was cooked well with a brown top, the others were bright white , soft and doughy inside. Not fully cooked. Our burgers came out, maybe 20 minutes later? The place was maybe 1/3rd full and everything seemed to take awhile. She got the bacon burger and I got the basic cheese burger with fries, which the fries weren't cooked all the way either. Granted, our service was okay. The food was lacking. Paid our check and then noticed we were charged for 4 drinks. When there was only 2 of us. Had to have our first check voided and recharged. My mother and I went to your location in Alexandria, La earlier this week.It was a horrible experience. When we sat down the table was sticky and unclean after we had been standing up front for 5 mins and told a table was being cleaned. We sat and ordered drinks and an appetizer which took approximately 35 mins to arrive. We then ordered two steaks a filet and a T-bone. We waited over an hour and half. The table that came in twenty minutes after us received their food before us. When our meals finally did come out they were a further disappointment. My mothers T-bone steak only had the sirloin side (which was over cooked and full of fat). When I brought it to management attention she proceeded to "mansplain" to me that the T-bone did not have two sides, a filet and a sirloin. This of course is in complete contradiction to your menu which list it as having two sides (please see attached picture of your menu) I felt completely disrespected and talked down to. She did nothing to correct our disappointment or to help us. I have worked in the food industry previously and as management I know this is not how a customer should ever be treated.My mother ate her overcooked and fatty steak because after sitting for an hour and half we were starving. The waitress at the end of the meal was rude and asked my mother did you even bother to eat it. I did not finish my filet which was clearly her other side of her steak. We will not be dining here again and neither will any of our family and friends . Your management clearly needs to be retrained in your menu and in customer service as well as your wait staff. I look forward to speaking to someone about this matter. However, after reading the reviews from your Alexandria store I doubt anything will change. @Logans management I have emailed you multiple times with no response. I asked to order the 12 oz sirloin because I was going to share with our son well they was out of the 12 oz sirloin so I ordered the 6 oz sirloin (medium) salad and bake potato. When our order came out I cut into my steak it was so raw but tough like it was well done on the outside well that's because it might have been cooked frozen I sent it back they brought me another one that was super well done I just kept because they apparently was mad that I sent it back in the first place! Our salads had old lettuce in it our bake potatoes hard! As we was paying and trying to let our son finish his food the busier came by and sat the dirty tub on the table trying take clear our table when we wasn't done! Oh and did I mention that they sat us next to the kitchen entrance and oh my they have no regard for this virus going around and no regards toward being clean at all This includes the manager of the place too!
