I should've read the reviews prior to coming. It was a bad experience from the begining. First, the host was missing and we waited a few minutes but we were seated right away. It took about 10 minutes to get a beer from the bar, which in fact was overpriced at the end (it was happy hour) Our table was unlevel and had the black credit card holders underneath a leg for better balance. It worked, until we got our food: which by the way, our salad was forgotten about and we received it with our meal. Back to the table, when we tried cutting into our steak, the whole thing would wobble side to side. So, with no waiter in sight, we moved ourselves. As far as our meal, the fryers needed changing; chicken fried steak and country chicken were a little burnt. The batter completely fell apart, upon slicing. The broccoli was un- edible due to salt. At one point, I asked a waiter that was passing by, for some napkins and all he did was find our waiter and tell him. As if, "it wasn't his table" At first glance, I thought we were just being "complainers" but the lady across the table asked a waiter walking by, to please find out who their waiter was cause they didn't know. read more

The stars I am giving are for the food only. As for the service, this was probably the worst service I have ever received. We were a party of 8, but went for an early lunch and were literally one of the first customers. Our waitress was the rudest most un-accommodating person ever. If you despise your job that much then don't do that job. We started by asking her to split the check a few ways. Her annoyance at us began. We asked for more bread, how dare we. Then most of our orders came out missing sides or condiments that we asked for at initial order. I'm so very sorry that I wanted dressing with my salad. She got so angry at one point she was slamming glasses down on the table as she refilled them. She then confirmed a second time how we wanted the checks split up. No problem until less than 10 minutes later when she still brought them split wrong. Then ONE person paid cash where he needed change and her comment was "now I need to deal with cash". For just decent food, it was not worth the 90 minutes of terrible attitude that we had to deal with considering how much money 8 of us spent. We live in Buda and there are not many restaurant choices in the immediate area. We tried this Logan's when it first opened and were extremely disappointed in the quality of food and service. Fast forward to tonight, we tried it again in hopes that management had changed and the experience would have also changed. NOPE! Food awful, peanuts stale, server absent. We have given this several tries with the same result therefore I rate it a 1-star with No option to give it zero stars. I really wish they would get it together because we like Logan's. read more

The doors must be closing soon. Otherwise, there is no excuse for what this once reliable eating establishment has become. This used to be my favorite dine out in the area and I have bought lots of incredible takeout as well. But the parking lot was nearly empty at 8 pm. Hmmm. The befuddled host was clueless, dragging us to one dirty table after another in a nearly empty restaurant. The server, who was very nice, did not know of any specials when asked. When quizzed further she remembered that it was happy hour and there were many specials. We were there for a steak fix and were so completely disappointed. The meager rib eye was so thin it looked like it had been run over and was just as poorly cooked, although technically the inside was medium rare as ordered. The NY strip was oddly cut and just something to hold the gristle together. Hard to choke down. The once generous baked potatoes were small, dry and overcooked. Fully loaded meant less than a teaspoon of sour cream and sticky yellow melted "cheese." There was a charge for iced tea refills. After years of happy and frequent dining with quality ingredients, my visit six months ago was an alert. I gave them a chance to sort it out before dining there this week. Wrong direction! Serious deterioration in ingredient quality and no cooking skills in evidence. The last two times were just a rip-off, so this customer won't be back. read more

Placed a pick up order and was told it would take 30 minutes. When we got to Logan's we added a grilled chicken breast. It took another 40 minutes to get the order and when we questioned the manager he was condescending and rude. Find another Logan's location. read more

I doubt I'll come back here. The food was mediocre at best. The fried mushrooms were overcooked and greasy, the bread was overcooked, the iced tea tasted strange so I switched to water. My mother's fries were greasy and limp and the jumbo shrimp were tiny. The waitress was ok, but not overly friendly. It's too bad. There aren't very many restaurants in Buda. I would come often if it were better. read more

We sat in the bar for lunch, and no one was even visible for at least 10 minutes. The bartender finally came and got our drinks going. She was apologetic, saying that she had to work the floor and the bar. There were three of us at the bar that were never greeted, but she was placing rolled silverware on empty tables and making runs to the kitchen, but coming out with nothing for anyone. The rolls were hard and dense. The food tasted great that the time, but about 4 hours later for my husband and 6 hours later for me, we both became violently ill. We posted on FB, asking to see if the water was good to drink in Austin because we were there earlier that morning. I mentioned that we had eaten at Logan's, too. Other people started commenting about how they also ate there 11/12/2018 and were now sick, but they thought it was a stomach bug or something. We plan to call as soon as they open to let them know something is not right in the kitchen. read more

Me and my boyfriend had dinner there tonight because I had never been to Logan's and wantednto tey it. Our server Ana was lovely and very attentive. However I was far from impressed. I ordered the sirloin and lobster tail. I ordered my steak rare and my boy friend ordered the 8 oz sirloin medium rare but when recieved our food my steak was very firm and medium rare to medium but my boyfriends sirloin was cook somewhat rare so we switched. The lobster tail was nothing exciting and had a weird taste. The best thing of my meal was the baked potato. Also they forgot my macaroni and cheese however I didn't notice untill I was almost finished. When I did recieve the macaroni and cheese it was very mediocre and was compared to lubys macaroni and cheese. Ana was a great server but I will probably never return. read more

Decided to give them another try since my husband wanted to stay in tonight to watch the games and we both wanted a ribeye with baked potato...Have had horrible experiences in the past and have not been back in over a year...Ordered to go and the steaks were cooked perfectly, but the baked potatoes were awful...dark inside when you sliced them open and very crusty...left over from lunch or seriously overcooked...To add further insult, no butter, sour cream or cheese...Guess it's time to give up on Logan's...Cannot stand to go in to dine because they play the music so freaking loud I end up with a migraine...never mind trying to carry on a conversation... read more

To be honest, the food is not good, the waiter we had was horrible. He tried to convince us that the flat iron steak he brought to the table was a filet mignon, he even said that they press the filet to make it flat. What a joke this guy was. My pork sandwich was dry and the rest of the food was just so so...I will never come to logans again, its not that I don't like Logans, I just think that the Logans in Buda sucks ass...the waiter too. read more

Service was not good. Our waitress was not friendly or very helpful. Sounded like she was reading from a script. I understand its still a new restaurant but tell your servers to at least smile and deliver answers to questions in something other than a terse "Yes" or "No." Pork chops were ridiculously overseasoned. So salty I couldn't eat them. Manager did offer to comp them (which was very nice) but informed me, "We get a lot of complaints about our meat being overseasoned, so next time just ask for very little seasoning." Hello? I also noticed that on my last visit, the salad was half the size it used to be. Other friends complained that the baked potato was really small. What's going on here? Even after reading the negative reviews, I decided to meet family here. Service staff were friendly and did a very good job. The margaritas were very good and were a good price during happy hour. We had the 6 ounce sirloin steaks. We did order the steaks medium well and they came well done but I very seldom get a steak cooked exactly like I like it when eating out. The steaks were not tough and were very tasty. The baked potato was one of the best I have ever eaten in a restaurant. The vegetable skewer was also very good. The restaurant was very busy so I think more people than not like the restaurant. I wouldn't let a few negative comments keep you away. read more

Today I went to have dinner with a friend at this location in Buda, Tx. As we were beginning to have dinner we found a hair in the bread. We informed the server and requested to speak to the supervisor. As we were informing the server, she kept on glaring at my friend basically implying that we had placed the hair on the bread. When we spoke to the supervisor, she apologized about the inconvenience but that was it. As we proceeded to have dinner, the server was pretty much neglecting our table since we had complained. She had a table literally right next to ours, and the entire time she ignored ours. I had finished drinking my water and the server never came to refill my glass. I went without water throughout the entire meal, to the point that I had to ask for water after I had already finished my meal and even then I felt she was reluctant to bring me the water. When we received our tab she didn't even ask if the checks were separate or together. When I reviewed the tab, I expected some type of discount for the terrible service and the foreign object in our food. Nothing. I was very disappointed at the fact that I had to escalate the issue once again with a different supervisor. The second supervisor offered to comp the meal, which I really appreciated but informed him that it wasn't necessary. He still comped the meal but I feel it had lost it's value since I had to approach a second supervisor a second time over the same issue. This is the second time I have gone to this location and received terrible service. Never again. read more
