I'm met my mom, my stepdad and my niece here for my nieces birthday dinner. We were seated in an awkward corner away from most everybody else and the lighting was so dim that we could barely read the menus. We had to get out our phones and turn the light on. Logans roadhouse is supposed to be a good steakhouse and all the food is supposed to be good. I ordered Med rare steak and shrimp and it came out last and was way over cooked, no pink at all.. so I had to send it back and wait to eat while everyone else ate their food. When I did receive my steak it was cooked rare instead of medium rare but I wouldn't head and ate it because I was starving!! This restaurant wasn't very clean at all, when you walked by the kitchen where all the frying was going on it was nasty and it made me think I'm glad I didn't get anything that was fried!! Logan's in Burleson, Texas. We were so happy to come across this Logan's since the one in our hometown had closed down. The service was great our waitress her name was country . She was awesome. The food amazing we both got steaks. The salads were fresh, drinks never went empty hands-down great experience and we also came in late at night and we weren't made to feel like we were being a bother at all. We did notify the hostess on the way out but hard to eat at restaurant where no one even acknowledges you exist. Tried holding the menus up and trying to catch someone's eye but short of yelling which is not my style, not much else to do but leave. The one near us closed in Lake Worth. They had horrible service so not sure if this one is headed this way. Bummer as love the grilled chicken dishes. This was lunch service at 1pm on a Saturday, not busy and had at least 5 staff members up front so don't think a staffing issue. Maybe training, not sure. read more

They can't seem to get it right when it comes to the chicken fried steak. The last 3 times I went there it was either overcooked, burned or extremely over-salted. The third time was when I got it extremely over-salted. I took a bite of it and nearly got sick from it. Let me start by saying this place is great. It has been here forever and they always serve some pretty good food. I've been going here since the floor was covered with peanuts. But they cannot get their DoorDash orders right to save someone's life. If you order a dozen rolls, they will give you one butter and then if you ask for extra butter, they will give you a bag full of butter like they're irritated because you asked. And then when you order rolls, they cheap you out on some because some come with the meal and they only give you what you ordered extra. If you dine in the service food and drinks are always excellent. But they are majorly lacking in the Takeaway department. I know I sound like the biggest back there is but at the end of the day it comes down to principle I should get what I paid for. And I shouldn't have to ask for extra butter for six rolls. We stopped in for lunch and we're immediately sat and greeted by our waitress Haley. She took our drink order and brought over drinks and answered the menu questions we had. We ordered the sliders and the grilled peppercorn chicken. My son got the kids chicken strips and fries. The chicken was really good - got the BBQ sauce on the side subbed for peppercorn ranch. The broccoli with cheese was mushy and the French onion soup was terrible. The rolls were good. The chocolate cake with ice cream, dessert that we ordered was dry and tasteless and tasted about three weeks old. It was literally awful. How the heck do you mess up chocolate cake?. So I have to say this is one of the worst visit I had here. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were food. We ordered food and this young lady come out asking who's food and bartender told her and she slammed our food down on the opposite side of the bar and walked off, didn't even bring all of our order. I went up to ask her about the rest and in a very rude manner said it over there. Bartender Haley just happened to be standing over by the window and heard me. The manager on duty, not sure what his name is but younger guy kind of tall and skinny, was too busy flirt with all the girls to even pay attention to what was going on. Then all the kids working there running around playing on their phones, just unprofessional. I can see know why they are only getting a 2.5 star rating. I received my income tax check back the following Saturday me wanting to take care of my friends because I've been broke lately and they've been helping me out call them up and ask them to meet me at Logan's restaurant in Burleson Texas and why the main reason they had a special going on two dinners for $15.99 I thought wow what a good deal so I called him up and told him to meet me up there as soon as we walked in we immediately seated because there was no wait , and I've seen to come to find out why we ordered our drinks and proceeded to look at the menus we could not find the advertised 1599 to for special so we called the waitress over who by the way ended up being the best thing about the whole complete restaurant.!! We asked her about them she said well she had never seen that advertisement and knew nothing about it I said well it's all over the Internet and not even on your website so she and we decided that we need to speak to the manager we sat there for a few minutes finally this is very young young gentleman came up to our table said he was one of the managers and I proceeded to ask him which one are you he said the manager here speaking with you I thought oh okay that's the way he's going to start off huh before I could even explain anything about the ads which I had several of he started telling me that that was a Google advertisement nothing to do with Logan's restaurant whatsoever even though it was on the Logan's website and right by the restaurant directions he proceeded to treat me as if I wasn't uninformed uneducated person that's never been on the internet in my life I took my defense to it and so did my other three friends so instead of him even offering to do anything to at least work a deal out with us his main reply was that he could not even change or get into the register to make the price up I thought wow you're the manager and you can't get into the register something's wrong with that picture anyways the waitress brought us over another advertisement they had and we will order three meals from it instead of being 1599 for two dinners it was 1099 per 3 Dinner,s ! So first of all, I love those rolls they serve here, it's a great complimentary appetizer. The Logan or medium well steak was definitely worth it here as well, no wonder it's their signature dish. The mashed potatoes where on point and so where the little onion rings. The green beans tasted like they came from a can though and the potato soup wasn't worth it in my opinion. I also ordered some chicken tenders and some waffle fries for my kids and they were quite good. Lastly, the waiter was awesome and very attentive, she came by to check on us often. read more

The chicken strips were fresh, not overly battered, and seasoned nicely. The sweet potato was excellent, I loved the cinnamon butter. I would have given 5 stars, but they forgot my rolls!! I mean, if you've had Logan's warm, yeasty, buttery rolls, you know they are the main reason for a visit! We did curbside pick up for dinner, and everything else was great for a good meal at home that wasn't fast food. The burgers are very good, and my wood grilled chicken was juicy and very tasty. Besides the rolls, they have my favorite side salad and homemade ranch dressing on the side. They are one of the few places that chills their salads so it's nice and crispy and fresh, topped with cucumbers, shredded cheese, red onions, croutons...just yum! Their prime rib is something we go for on weekends we are home - excellent and worth the wait! Always good service (except when they forget my rolls!!), and always a good experience at this location, whether it's take out or dine in. Oh - don't pass on the desserts!! First time dining here. Everyone who was seated after us were getting their food before us. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt, maybe the kitchen was backed up. After about 40 mins, I finally kindly asked our server to check on our food. Turns out the kitchen lost our ticket. Our server didn't even realize how oddly long it was taking for our food to come out. After that, took another 20 mins for the food to actually come out. Once we finished dining the check and boxes took a long time to come out too. The womens restroom was flooded with a sign on the door that said "be careful wet floors" there was water pouring from the ceiling which was splashing back at customers. Literally water everywhere.
