I went in for a toothache and needed a root canal per my previous dentist, they don't do root canals so I went to Loganville dentistry to get an estimate and I took my x-rays with me. Loganville dentist told me I would have to have more x-rays. I should have walked out then and saved the $1783.00 they charged my ins. for new x-rays. I am only allowed $2500.00 on my medicare ins for dental work so they took most of that. Then they told me I needed to have my teeth cleaned at a price of $1144.00 and wanted me to do it right then. Misleading Info, Overpriced X-rays, and Condescending Staff -- Not Returning We visited Loganville Dentist Office on June 10, 2025, for a root canal estimate for our son. Over the phone, we were told the evaluation would cost $49, with an additional charge for a new X-ray. We expected around $100--but when we arrived, the X-ray was quoted at $466. After we questioned it, the price suddenly dropped to $0, but no one could clearly explain if that would still count against our $1500 Delta Dental annual maximum. We also expected a single X-ray for one tooth but were quoted four different types, including a $165 panoramic image, which didn't seem essential. Worse, the $49 fee was never mentioned again, replaced with vague talk of $0 or $109, depending on insurance history. The administrative staff was not just unhelpful--they were condescending. That made a confusing situation worse. We won't be returning. Poor communication and dismissive treatment made this a frustrating experience. read more

The office staff are not helpful. I missed an appointment last year due to a work conflict. I called in and told them that I would not be able to make the appointment. I tried to schedule an appointment today and was told that I could "walk in" and sit an wait until they have time or that I would have to pay a $100 deposit to schedule an appointment. I missed one appointment, which I called ahead of time, and now am treated like this. Crazy. The care is just ok. The dentist always wants me to do more expensive things than I need. I went to this Dentist for slightly more than one year. I need help with broken teeth. Every time I went they did x-rays and cleaning. I got one tooth fixed. They kept saying I was not ready for the other teeth to be worked on. They charged me $700 each time. The office is clean and comfortable, which is a good thing as the majority of your time you will be waiting! The main issue we have with this office is that they constantly overcharge and try to charge lab fees. According to the insurance, they cannot charge for a lab fee. Buyer beware as this office routinely overcharges for almost all procedures and you will end up with a credit balance that you will have to harass the office before they will return your money. They wouldn't have this issue if they provided accurate estimates. The dentist is very aggressive with her treatment plans, so make sure you get a second opinion. I did and I am so glad I did as she wanted to pull a tooth that the second opinion stated all that was needed was a root canal and crown. She wanted to pull and place an implant. Do your research before you visit this practice. Additionally, according to the office, they do not do porcelain to metal crowns. They only provide the ULTRA expensive CEREC crowns. read more

I called this office February 2025 as they offered Endodontist services. They requested my referral, insurance card, and my x-rays. I emailed them. They even stated the first available appointment was 4/11/2025. I never heard back from them so began emailing them. I didn't get a response so called Smile Generation which reached out to them. They said I wasn't in their system. I then called the local number for them. Someone picked up and said they couldn't download my info. I then sent it again and she confirmed receipt. I then was told she would call me back twice. I had to call her each time. I finally called yesterday 4/9/2025 and was asked to email the info again. I did but still no response. I called back after leaving work and was told someone would contact me. I then received an email to decline service. A referral is good for 6 months. This leaves me with this month only to find an Endodontist. Absolute worst experience ever! read more

I was hopeful... This was the second dentist I went to in the past two months. All I want is a cleaning. I went there for a cleaning and new patient consult. They did the customary xrays and examination. When I asked for the cleaning, they said they only had one hygienist and she didn't have time so I would have to reschedule. Then they said they were going to get me the "treatment plan". I waited 45 minutes for someone to come and give me the recommended next steps... Thousands of dollars of recommended treatments. When I mentioned that my insurance had a flat rate of $370 for a crown, she said "oh, if you choose that one, there is a $500 lab fee". I guess I'll keep searching. read more

This office is in the business of scamming patients, not caring for your smile. "Your insurance doesn't cover this" should be their slogan. It doesn't matter what insurance you have; they will try and tell you it's not covered. I went there for an in-network covered procedure and it has been one lie after another from this business. They will refuse to submit your treatment to insurance (although they will lie and say they did) and insist you have to pay out of pocket. Here are just some of their lies: -"We submitted the procedure, but it's not covered." -"It would have been covered if we performed ABC procedure, but you had XYZ procedure, so it's not covered." -"Your insurance paid $X,XXX.XX leaving you to pay X amount out of pocket". The remaining amount they claimed was owed was conveniently the same as paying the whole bill out of pocket in the first place. I spoke to the insurance company yet again after this lie and of course they still hadn't even submitted the paperwork to insurance, let alone receiving money from them. Their list of excuses is never-ending. I ended up submitting the treatment they performed to insurance myself (which I should add, just getting an invoice of services performed by this office is a chore in itself). The insurance company again confirmed that it was covered giving the exact amount of patient responsibility. The insurance company also notified the dentist office to cease billing for any amount over the correct amount owed, but instead of correcting it they submitted the bill to collections. There is absolutely no reason anyone should go here for their dental treatment. If you're looking for a dentist office, please avoid this office at all costs. They are as dishonest as they come and all they care about is profit even if they have to lie, cheat and steal to get it. read more

But the dentist examined my teeth and made up a story as the gaps between my gums and teeth were previously filled and nothing to be done. Just I paid $888 for this deep cleaning. After this deep cleaning I am literally suffering with tooth pain after drinking coffee or after eating an ice cream. Remember the botched oral surgery you did on me, having my wisdom teeth out. Heck the surgeon didn't even get all of the tooth. Remember how you treated me in recovery, oh I do! Absolutely horrific. I can't say enough great things about Loganville Dentist Office and my incredible dentist Dr. Lynch! From the moment I walked in I was greeted warmly by the front desk staff and seen almost immediately by the dental assistant for x-rays. Dr. Lynch was outstanding. I am very scarred of needles and told him of my fear and he made me feel very comfortable! He must have the magic touch because I didn't feel anything as he numbed me for my root canal. This is literally the worst place you can go to for any kind of dental work. Do yourself a favor and don't come here. Most of them are very unprofessional because they will not own up to anything that was their doing. Changing treatment plans and fees without a warning or even an explanation. The worst part is when you speak to the doctors all they can say is they take no responsibility for anything financial they only know the clinical part of the office. You talk to several employees as you go through your treatment plan and when you finally confront them about what's been going on throughout this experience, they all deny any involvement. Literally a 10 thousand dollar procedure was payed for upfront for them to not get half the work done and refuse a refund until you ask for an explanation why the refund isn't possible. Months later still no partial refund for work that wasn't completed. There is a rude little tech girl that doesn't know what she is doing and literally almost choked my mom trying to get her impressions done. She got an attitude with me after confronting her about it. She will put you in a dirty room and clean around the patient. When I made the Dr. aware of this all she could say was sorry. The other dental assistant that spoke Spanish assumed my mom didn't speak English and was talking bad about my mom to the Dr. and when my mom came up behind her and asked to be shown to the bathroom the tech literally told the doctor "don't worry she doesn't understand" knowing damn well my mom was right in front of her and yes she understands! My husband and I went to Loganville Dentist Office because we had just moved to the area from out of state and needed a new dentist. The dentist and staff were nice, but for both myself and my husband they recommended doing a lot of procedures that were never suggested by any other dentist before. For example, the dentist said I had gum recession and should see their periodontist. The periodontist said I needed gum grafting with out of pocket, after insurance coverage, of $8000. I got a 2nd opinion and was told my gums were fine, typical for my age and nothing was necessary. They did 4 crowns that now I wonder if they were necessary. The advertise crowns in one day, but at least in my case that was not true, I had a temporary for several days then had to go back for the permanent one. I went to Loganville Dentist because they are in my network with my insurance. However, I do think they are not being truthful with price for treatment plans. I have a HMO plan, for one tooth to have a root canal the price sheet said without insurance a root canal would cost me $7100, but my out of pocket would be $2908 give or take. I got a second opinion, a dentist office in Snellville said a root canal with NO insurance would be $3200. SO how can Loganville Dentist say they have checked my insurance price & it be the same as if I had no insurance. This makes no sense. They have added things in the treatment plan that is either not needed or doesn't pertain to the treatment that is needed. They are up charging patients in order to get the full payment without insurance. We put our trust in the Doctors to be truthful & honest with us about what is needed & the price, but when you get scammers it is hard to trust even the truthful Doctors. Lesson learned!! read more

I had to listen the dental assistant complaint about not having proper equipment when she was doing my xrays. I finally see the dentist and she said I needed two crowns and a deep cleaning, totally roughly 2000 dollars with insurance. I was skeptical and went to another dentist and I just need two fillings. I had a dentist appointment this morning, and one of my back teeth said, "king me" making my out of pocket cost $659. When I was checking out, there was a bottle of murky water with a note that said if you gave $30 to the charity:water, they would take $60 off your bill. On inquiring, I was told they would take up off to $500. After 3 hours of trying to keep my tongue at bay while they worked, they only took in $165 and their awesome choice of charity made $250. I was very disappointed with my experience here. I called for an appointment about 3 weeks prior to my appointment date. They sent me a text to accept or change my appointment so I accepted it. When I arrived at the office on the morning of my appointment I was told the appointment was canceled. I asked how was the appointment canceled and the "manager" at the front desk told me I canceled it. She told me they were fully booked and would not be able to see me that day but I could reschedule. I asked to speak with Dr. Kim and she just kept saying she was busy with a patient and would be busy all day. I also left a message for Dr. Kim to call me. I never received a call back. I was then told I could come back 2.5 hours later and I could possibly be seen but there was no guarantee she also said I may not be able to get a cleaning but I could get X-rays. I decided to leave because I felt that I should have been able to be accommodated after taking the morning off from work and driving over an hour to this appointment. I received a call later in the day asking if I was coming back because they had changed my appointment to 12:30pm. I was never informed of this like I previously stated the manager said I could come back but there was no guarantee I would be seen or how many hours I would have to wait. I went in for some tooth pain. The dentist told me I needed TWO root canals. Last time I went they needed ro give my daughter a root canal for a cavity that wasn't even hurting her. At that time I was told that I had a dental "savings plan", not insurance and I had to finance $2,076 for my kid's root canal... and they charged my INSURANCE company $990. So this time I got a 2nd opinion. I needed (and got) a filling for my cavities...NO ROOT CANAL NEEDED and I now wish I had taken my kid for a 2nd opinion as well! These guys are doing root canals when a filling can be done instead. I'm telling everyone I know not to go to Loganville Dentist Office. Since they were the only dentist office close enough to me that takes my insurance, (& YES IT IS INSURANCE)I cancelled my insurance and am not saving a lot of time and money by going to a local dentist in Athens that cares more about their patients than they do their bank accounts. I was at Loganville dentist today and felt the need to write this review. While there I was told I needed a deep gum cleaning to the cost of an extra $300. When I said no, I just want the regular cleaning, they refused. So I can't get my teeth cleaned because I'm not willing to pay for extra services?!?
