My issues aren't with Logix directly, they helped me with a motorcycle loan. My issues came with who they ask you to do business with, a scam insurance company called Franklin Madison Insurance which is out of Tennessee and should not be allowed to do business in California. During my loan i received an invitation from Franklin Madison through Logix to buy a life insurance policy which i accepted. The scam catch is you can only pay through direct deductions through Logix. Once you satisfy your loan and your Logix account is closed Franklin Madison cancels your insurance. All loans end, it's a scam system designed to rob you of all the premiums you send them. Why not just rob people outside the 7-11? Shame on you Logix for doing business with a scam company. you should know better. Check out the complaints on the Better Business Bureau site. read more

Worse bank to apply to for an auto loan! They act as if you're trying to borrow million dollars from them for a freaking $35,000 car loan they want to verify two years of tax returns and other things how ridiculous is that on a 720+ fico score and somebody who has over 10 cars paid off on the credit report. Smh. Not to mention the loan officers are incompetent who go back-and-forth between you and underwriting and they're not even courteous enough to return your phone call you have to keep hounding them and calling them and emailing them. Don't need your stinking loan going to buy the car out right! read more

Upon the recommendation of my financial advisor I applied for a car loan refi to save on interest rate. I provided all info and was told it was approved. Then I hear nothing for awhile. I reached out to see if I would need to make the payment to my current lender or would this be finalized before the due date. Got no response. Waited 3 days, emailed again. No response. Waited 3 more days Then I left a voicemail. No response. Finally I got a reply that the loan officer was "busy" so didn't respond for so long but would finalize my loan that day. Well, unfortunately now I do not feel confident doing business with someone who is too busy to even send a simple email saying "I am busy, pay your current lender and we will take care of this in a few weeks". That would have been totally fine and taken all of 30 seconds of your time! I was not in a particular hurry I just wanted to be answered. It speaks volumes when you are too busy to answer me. You don't need another customer so I will not burden you! :) read more

The entire process just speechless...from the day submit the loan application to closing, it took approximate 56 days. The payment calculation on the loan closing document was wrong. Logix is by far the best place to get a mortgage loan. Rhona Jukes took on our loan when another lender fell through last minute. Just when we thought there wasn't hope Rhona came to our rescue. From the moment I spoke to her I knew she would make things happen and get us into our home. She literally held our hand the entire way and was constantly kept in touch. I set up an appt through the phone and got a text confirmation then went to the branch and they did not have my appt. also I was told I had to come into the branch for the preapproval and then I was told I could have done it online. So annoyed at the waste of time already!! So far have been getting mixed messages. Very frustrating experience. UPDATE - Someone from Logix called this morning and cancelled the WRONG appt for my car purchase! So now i have to reschedule for again a later date. I've been a loyal customer for years and recently the customer service has really taken a dump. The car loan process is what tipped me over the edge. They have zero empathy. I explained that I accidentally put some wrong information and asked how I could fix it. They basically said, "Tough Sh*t." Also, you're charged for ATMs, with no reimbursement if you aren't near a Logix bank and there are zero in the South Bay. They say they offer free checks, but when you request them, they make you pay (even though it lists them as free for my tier). False advertising for sure. I don't recommend this bank at all. I had a 4:00pm appointment with Peter Tang because I wanted to open up a savings account and two Money Market accounts. I had tried another branch earlier and was not treated well at all. I thought "they can't all be like that" When I arrived there, the Receptionist didn't know what I was there for even though I said what it was when I made the appointment. She proceeded to talk to me from the front desk about the Money Market Accounts and how I would need to open up two separate savings account for each Money Market accounts. I had not been told that information by the earlier branch I tried. She never did let me see Peter Tang and I walked out vowing to never do business with this bank. read more

Michelle Yim was great. She handled my lease payoff from start to finish. I applied online March 13 and my lease was paid off on March 26. She handled all the DMW paperwork, which I signed and returned to her Fed Ex paid by Logix. Also I sent her the car registration, auto insurance and lease payoff letter. I signed electronically the auto loan documents. This credit union takes your money but when you ask to transfer to another bank..... they want to charge you for taking YOUR money out of their system. I have never heard of a financial service that charges you to look after your money and then wants to take some away from you when you ask to transfer that money to a REAL bank.... WOW!!! I had to go in there to open an account for a loan. Last I was there it was maybe 2019. It is astonishing how rude and unprofessional everyone was right from the second I walked in from the girl up front to the girl who came to supposedly assist me open my account, I began to thank her when she walked up and Priscilla literally held her finger up and shushed me to tell the girl upfront that her 10 AM appointment had canceled. She didn't smile she didn't give a fuck why I was there after 5-10 minutes of clickety-clack clickety-clack, on her keyboard with the most attitude I've ever experienced for no reason, she told me that it's a joint account and because my wife is not there I'd have to go home and open the account online. Meanwhile been calling the loan guy for three days and he hasn't returned my calls. I called him again this morning and his message says that he's out of the office until Saturday. We just moved 90% of our money out of Logix's money market account to another bank's savings account to get much higher interest. Logix only pays 1.8% interest when it's very easy to find close to 5% elsewhere. Where do you think the difference is going? Right in their pocket! My family has been with, Lockheed now Logix, for around 80 years and this is extremely disappointing. We don't have any other complaints but this is a deal breaker. read more

I dont know what they are using to run peoples credit but it is not accurate. I just bought a brand new car three weeks ago and have a copy of Honda's credit report which states my Experian is 687, I have my personal Experian report in front of me that I Just paid for with today's date that states my current score is 677, yet Logix ran my credit with Experian and it apparently comes back as 633 which would allow them to increase my interest rate on any loan by four percent. So I soft pulled my credit at work and its still above 675 from where I can see it. They dont care to see my supporting documentation... the underwriter looking at this refused to speak to me or discuss this with me or even help me understand what they could see that would make it so low... Also, Logix refused to give me a copy of the report they were basing the percentage rate on, which I am legally entitled to. Screw this place. I have had credit scores be within 10 points of what I can see but NEVER 50 points. Give me a break... read more

The iOS app is awful and the website is outdated. The Apple app constantly times out the session and you have to retype in your password despite the TouchID integration. The worst customer service I have received from a Credit Union thus far. I had filled a fraud claim against my credit card statement charge. They were very slow to look into the matter and after providing a complete documents verifiable info of the fraud. Services I had paid were incomplete that were supposed completed of legal documents and was also verified by LAPD stating that i was fraudulent missed led and ripped off! Upon providing all this information to my Credit Union "Logix" they refused to follow through and help me regarding the matter. They would not stand behind me as a long standing customer to dispute the charges! And zero follow up from upper management after repeated attempts for assistance! Think twice before doing business with Logix! So consider other financial institutions that will definitely stand behind the customers with a doubt. read more

We were in the process with another 'big' bank for a mortgage which was confusing, frustrating, and ended up being a waste of time. In a rush we switched to Logix. We started by completing an online mortgage application and by the next day the loan officer, Eddie, called us to confirm everything and then sent us a loan estimate. After, we spoke through email and some phone, sending documents and answering questions, but Eddie was good at letting us know where we were and what was next. We also worked with Gelene for the loan approval and she was super friendly and helpful. Everything with Logix was straightforward, efficient, and responsive. Logix has been my best banking or even credit union experience by far. I have had good experiences with both a mortgage and car loan as well as accounts in general and have quite enjoyed the occasional share dividend (separate from interest on accounts). The recent no-nonsense 1.99% automatic loan for anything (I used it for consolidation--including a Logix account, no restriction nor additional percentage/transfer) was great too. Sometimes wish the website/phone app was slightly snappier or there were a couple more branches (North Hollywood to Sherman Oaks area would be great) but also appreciate they're not like First Entertainment blowing through all their money to pop up and advertise everywhere while providing mediocre rates and service. Yelp is a pay-to-play dumpsterfire though so please also check Google reviews. read more
