Never thought I would be giving this a low score, but it appears that It deserves one because of one of the last recent transactions from their Rewards Logix program when I earned a Red Robin gift card and as I was trying to use it at the restaurant, the funds of the card was empty and I've never used it. I thought it might be a mistake from the waitress's part, but she discovered it was empty with no credit in the gift card that was sent to me by Logix and so, I end up paying for the full amount. Word of advice for Logix head snake in the company, if you're going to do business like that to your long-time customers, I might end up looking elsewhere in the near future to conduct my banking business. read more

I went in to apply for an auto loan, and the guy helping me (Tony) seemed like he couldn't wait to go home. I was approved for the loan with little explanation or info on what to do next. I went home only to realize that the terms and conditions for the loan had a gray area condition that might not even work for my situation (something that could've been made clear upon receiving approval). Not that big of a deal.. I then attempted to call not only the loan officer himself, but the branch, as well as the company's main office line to no avail. I go back later the same day to see the same loan officer walking around freely, chatting happily with co workers (even though I was told over the phone that they were all unavailable or with customers). We speak again and I get a vague answer from Tony about the discrepancy, but this time I'm told they have to "wait for approval from the back office". This was all on a Friday, so I was aware that there would be a longer than usual delay over the weekend to get that answer. Come Monday, I receive nothing (by 1PM). I try and call all 3 lines again, nothing. I decide to go back in for a 3rd time and this time I spoke with a different loan officer (after requesting to speak with a manager and waiting 30 minutes), and he basically told me the same thing, that they were "working on it". I was told I would for sure get the answer I needed by the end of day, "maybe even sooner". That was at 2PM. Next thing you know it's 5PM (they're closed) and I've still received 0 updates or answers to my simple question regarding the loan. Now it's Tuesday (12PM) and I call again, just to be told by a main office worker that he "couldn't get ahold of anyone, but someone from the branch would give me a call by end of day". Based on my experience so far, I HIGHLY doubt that's gonna happen, and I'm tired of going in and waiting 30+ minutes for the same answers with no progress whatsoever. This whole ordeal has been a major waste of my time to say the least. This place has managed to turn something so simple into a major headache of mine. I reached out to Logix Federal credit Union after a colleague of mine referred them to me to refinance my vehicle with them. Their rates are by far some of the lowest in today's market, I was very impressed by the speed the professionalism, and all the way around just the best experience I've had in a long time with a financial Institute. they did such a good job, that I decided to refinance both of my vehicle vehicles with them at the same time. Been a member since 2009. On Monday 4/7 I had to make a cash deposit for my dogs emergency vet visit. I was greeted and served by Iliana we spoke a bit about the situation and over a week later I received a gift in the mail from Amazon for my dog. Totally unexpected and an emotional moment opening the package. My Gracie dog is doing well but my 5 month old puppy loved all the gifts. I can't express enough how sweet and thoughtful this was. I have been researching new places for a checking account, and was curious about Logix after reading the positive reviews. I use the Brave browser most of the time to avoid tracking, and the Logix site would not function properly there. So I tried Chrome and it worked, and the first thing I was greeted with was burdensome privacy and agree to be tracked. I had an appointment at this Logix branch to open a new account and this was the closest branch to San Diego. So, I had a bit of a drive. However, I digress, and this review focuses on the following: (1) parking; and (2) service. PARKING LOT Keep an eye out! There is a parking lot behind the building, but it is next to a parking structure. The signage is small for the parking lot for Logix customers, and it looks like it's only for employees because of the size of the lot and the gate. I would have liked to know in advance where to park because the bank validates for its customers that park on the smaller lot. However, I parked in the structure because it looked more convenient and it was not too expensive. Logix does not validate parking in structure. SERVICE When I got inside, there was a receptionist that took my name and confirmed my appointment with Eduardo. I was early and she said it would be about 30 minutes, but Eduardo finished early and assisted me within minutes of my arrival--before my scheduled appointment. It took no time to open the account. Everyone was really nice at this location. All the customers inside the branch were either being helped or seemed to have been helped and waiting for an appointment. Logix had a lot of staff that were working hard to assist the customer. It never felt like customers were waiting on the employees to get through a rush of customers that weren't being helped. Quite the opposite. In conclusion, based on my current experience, I recommend this Logix branch. read more

I went to Logix to get new dollar bills for Chinese New Year on a Wednesday afternoon in January. I parked in their parking lot which had some spots. Inside the bank, I was greeted and the teller spotted me. I made a deposit and the teller exchanged my money. So I am glad my bank has new bills. Great service as always. read more

Great Interest Rate Dividends comparable to some of the online credit unions. If you put your money into one of their money market accounts, you'll make the best rates compared to their other accounts, without having to tie it up in a CD. What I Like: 1. Friendly employees 2. Good Interest Rates 3. Best phone customer service of any credit union or bank I've ever used. 4. Good digital banking 5. Everyone from the front door receptionist to those who open accounts, to tellers can help you with most transactions. 6. Their Platinum member accounts have a lot of nice benefits if you have the money to be at that level What I Don't Like: 1. Tiny Parking Lot, but so far never full, but it might just be because of the time I visit. 2. Money deposited in the bank is e-mailed for the receipt, so if the teller makes a mistake and you forget to check the e-mail, things can get screwed up. I had that happen with a $265,000.00 deposit. Fortunately, I learned my lesson from having something similar happen with a different credit union so I check and verify everything. 3. If you have different accounts connected to your name, such as a business, trust and/or personal - you'll need to pay extra attention. I had a $265,000.00 check coming out of one account to go into a different account via a Cashiers Check for papertrail purposes. The teller took it out of the account, had me sign the cashiers check which I took a photo of, and then instead of depositing it into the other account, the teller deposited it back into the same account. I didn't know until that day when I checked the e-mail receipt. Fortunately, Logix phone support saved me a trip back to the branch and was able to get hold of the original teller and have them reverse and correct their error. $265,000.00 is kind of a big error. This credit union has a very different "vibe" than any of the other credit unions or banks that I've used. It's a positive vibe and the employees are friendly and seem like they enjoy working there. It has more of a business vibe like a bank, but friendly like a Credit Union. read more

Service has gone down, parking is crappy (the parking ticket machine is so badly places you to get out of your car to get the ticket before entering the lot). I'm not a member (YET, lol) so I won't give you a fake review. BUT the customer service I received from Veronica made me stop and give them a 5 star. I don't typically do that. Customer service goes a long way and it can be a precursor to how you'll be treated in the future. Not only was Veronica very helpful, she was honest, upfront, patient and very thorough. I could tell she was listening and I wasn't just another number on the phone. She even helped me schedule my appointment tomorrow. 7 overdraft fees, two days in a row, for overdrafting by $1. $400 in overdraft fees in 24 hours for BARELY going over. Might as well be with a big bank with more convenient locations if logix is going to treat you just as bad. $30 overdraft fees are predatory, classist, and wrong, and giving one person 14 total in 24 hours is disgusting. You can't claim to be a credit union who has their customers best interests and do that. read more
