Honest and respectful, good customer service. I've had my motorcycles and never had an issue

DO NOT GO HERE. RANDY IS VERY CONDESCENDING AND IF YOU GET ON HIS BAD SIDE HE WILL CALL YOU EVERY NAME UNDER THE SUN. I NEVER make reviews and it's unfortunate I have to say this because I thought we would be doing a lot of business together. Long story short, randy is VERY unprofessional. I came in for an oil leak on my 05 450R and randy had said that it was problem A and B and I said okay do what you have to do. Charged me $400. No problem if the leak is fixed. Come pick up the bike when it's done, bring it home and take it for a 5 minute ride, oil everywhere again. Immediately brought it back in and said hey still got oil he said okay it could be problem C or D and I said okay do what you have to do. He said he would pressure wash it and clean it up so he could see where the oil was coming from. He ran it back and forth in the parking lot a few times and said it's not leaking and ready to be picked up. *But never dove into the problem to see where the oil was actually coming from or why* ** where it all went south ** I called him after a week that the bike had been done (with the holidays I was busy and not able to pick up the bike) I said his phone wasn't working or something was wrong and then I asked him if he did anything to fix the problem other than pressure washing it and proceeded to call me an ***hole and completely caught me off guard. I said okay no need for that I will be by to pick up my bike today. I was not saying anything in a bad tone and even if I did there's no need to call anyone an ***hole for something that minor. I'm a business owner myself and I would NEVER call a customer names for any reason. Proceed to go pick it up and I move my bike to where my stand is at the back of my truck so I can warm it up and take it for a ride to prove that the bike is still leaking oil. And it's a LOT OF OIL. not just a little bit. He comes out hot and is cussing at my girlfriend and I and things just take off from there. Things get escalated very quickly and he's calling me names and I'm yelling that's he is being very unprofessional and if he's having a bad day to not take it out on us. I proceed to take my bike on a 5 minute ride JUST TO SHOW HIM THAT HE DIDNT FIX ANYTHING. I get back and lo and behold what do we have here? Oil. Everywhere. Hes saying that there's nothing he can do to recreate the oil pressure build up needed to actually find the oil leak. All the while we try and have a nice civil conversation and reset the situation bc maybe it did get a little out of hand at first. I'm doing my best to keep my cool and he's just being very condescending like he did NOTHING wrong. At this point he's looking at the bike and says this is your problem and said thank you for the input, but we will no longer be doing business together. He didn't like that because he started going off on me again. And I packed up my bike and left because he is too weak of a man to know when to take some constructive criticism and he wasn't worth the time to explain my side. Moral of the story I came in for an oil leak to be fixed and it was not fixed. I still have the same short $400 for a problem that really wasn't even there. Randy called me all sorts of names, saying that I don't know how to work a phone, called me a f***ing prick, called me an ***hole and many other names. This all started because Randy got offended on what I said over the phone that his phone wasn't working and I asked him if he actually fixed the problem other than pressure washing the bike. Randy could've went about the situation many different ways that many different points of the interaction. When I was explaining my side of the story he constantly interrupted me and talked over me. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Attached are pics of the oil leak I still have. Randy you failed to do your job and you dropped the ball on so many levels. read more

I worked for Randy for several months, he's not an honest man. I've seen him lie to customers and give up on bikes after charging hundreds to get nowhere. He's even nearly gotten into a fist fight with a few customers. Horribly unprofessional. read more

I was referred to Lokey by the store owner I bought my gear from--All Rider Gear in San Diego. He spoke very highly of him so I trusted it even though its a 45min ride for me from DT San Diego. FIRST IMPRESSION walking in--Randy is super friendly and also the kids working for him, real diligent. Originally came to get Trex frame sliders installed on CBR but I also told him to keep an eye on any other red flags it may have because I bought the motorcycle used 2 months ago (cbr 2016 7.5k miles). He quoted me a solid price/time for labor; (but also he said--hey, we don't like to rush things here, we like to check everything thoroughly). Later that day, maybe 3 hours; frame sliders on, oil changed (it was hella dirty), all bolts tightened, and new chain (and I had already noticed kinks in the chain); and fixed a sticky throttle. Very happy with the price and customer service; would recommend to anyone. Also a tire shop right next door. Motorcycle rode wayyy better/faster with the new chain. Also maybe the biggest testament to their skills was by the bikes serviced in their stable lol.. I was interested in everyone of them and asked if they were for sale read more

Called late afternoon on a Friday wanting to get some atv tires mounted. I expected to be told they would get me in a few weeks later. Instead they said bring it in and we'll get you setup so you don't lose the weekend riding. I was totally blown away that they would offer this so late on a Friday. They got my tires mounted and done by 6pm that day. I found my go to place! Locally owned and family business that knows how to do customer service. read more

I try to treat them the best I can, and I know when I've had Randy work on them, he feels the same way. I was referred to Lokey Powersports by a friend who also has used them for a number of services on his bike. I just recently bought a used bike that had been sitting for a while and so it wasnt starting/running right. I called in to Lokey and Randy (the owner) spent a solid 15 minutes talking me through his thoughts on what may be causing the problem. Unlike most of the other shops I had called before, Randy's customer service and time spent talking to me as just some guy who called in was second to none. After a quick conversation with him you can tell Randy really knows his stuff and he did a great job with my KLR 650.
