I should've taken it here to begin with. Top level Sprinter service. These guys were recommended by my regular very good and trustworthy mechanic. "Just around the corner", he says. Before I knew it, these Sprinter guys, with about 30 various Sprinters in their lot, had all of my fluids checked and replaced because I was to begin a 5K mile road trip and experiencing an intermittent oil level light. Within an hour-and-a-half they had my Sprinter completed and 'ready for the road', they said. That was Nov 30. On Nov 31st I made it to Yuma without incident and without the light. I have now, Nov 17, made it all the way to Nashville and am heading back for another service to get ready for my next trip. I just wish I knew of more Sprinter specialists on the road, just in case. I highly recommend Sprinter Service and Repair. They did a vehicle inspection and found a number of things that the Mercedes dealer had not done even though for the majority of the 10 years I have owned this van, since new, they did not do the services that should have been done for the 1000's of dollars that they charge for the required services . I have all the records so could verify that what Sprinter repair was finding was valid. They got me in and the work done in a timely and efficient manner. When I had a check engine light on weeks later and called they were more than helpful over the phone and kept me from over reacting until I got in for the fix, that Mercedes wanted $2300.00 for, denying me the warranty that originally they said I would be able to use. Went to SSR and they did the fix for $330.00. All is good now. If you have a sprinter van these are your guys and they have a few other shops around CA. Too! read more

While driving my Sprinter the other day, it just dropped dead. Called a tow truck and had it towed to a typical automotive repair shop. They had it for a week and gave up on it...could not find the issue. Then, I had it towed to Sprinter Service & Repair. They went through it from bumper to bumper. They discovered an electrical short and other issues that the previous shop had done. It takes a special mechanic to work on Sprinters. Why go to a "typical" repair shop?? Not easy to add anything new to these glowing reviews. I have a 2011 Sprinter 3500 RV with 64,000 miles, bought in 2017. Although I had looked for Sprinter specialists before, I only recently learned of this shop in Vista, where I live. Aside from doing my own oil change, I hadn't had comprehensive maintenance service since I bought it and wanted it done before my son took it on a road trip in a couple days. Maxim very accommodating was able to book me the next day. Also can confirm detailed communication through checklists and estimates texted to me for verification. Upon picking up my RV, Maxim spent 20 minutes going over the work done and adding a couple tips for easing stress on transmission when parking by putting it into neutral first, and leaving engine on after parking for a few minutes to cool down the turbocharger. Another detail I'd never seen before was sticking labels on the engine parts that documented dates that the maintenance was done. Very comprehensive, helpful and friendly service. read more
